Meet the Fans!

"You know'" Chris said after Valley made her comment. "People who aren't wrestlers make a common mistake of seeing a bearhug and think it's sole purpose is to attack someone's spine or back muscles."

As she talked, the blonde's tone was even and steady, although she was cranking up the pressure bearing down on Val's back and midsection, addressing her lesson to the crowd and whoever else might be listening.

"But it also restricts your opponent's abilty to get air to their lungs. Which in turn, makes it harder to do things like breathing, and of course...."

Chris gave Valley a slight grin.

..."talking."

”Grrk!”

Yeah, Chris wasn’t joking about the talking thing. Her grip came down with crushing, overbearing pressure, and Valley could feel her organs squishing together in the most unnatural ways. She wasn’t that bad off - she didn't think she was at the point where tapping seemed reasonable - but if she’d been through a match, where Chris had likely already worked over her midsection several times? Quitting would seem like a good idea.

Luckily, someone in the audience was paying attention to the time and called out for Valley’s release. The Slamazon would have a long sigh of relief and flop on her back the second she was released - now it was her turn to watch Chris go through some agony.

As soon as time was called, Chris turned Valley loose, letting her down easy. She also leaned down, a hand on Valley's shoulder. She didn't think a fresh Val could be hurt by a bearhug, but she still had to ask "Hey, how are you feeling, Val?"

Once she got a response from her blond friend, Chris would turn to Alicia.

"Well, I guess it's your turn. Let's see what you've got." the former Wrestle Angel said.

With that, Chris stood, her arms open and her legs spread slightly, as she waited to see what the crowd would choose for the redhead's hold....

Alicia hadn’t quite decided whether she was meant to be doing the timing or not when someone in the crowd… Well, either they’d been timing the hold or they’d just decided letting Chris hug Valley any more was cruel and unusual punishment and it needed to be stopped. Given they were a wrestling fan attending a wrestling event and this was pretty mild, Alicia was betting on the first option.

Of course, judging by the way the blonde promptly dropped to the mat like a slightly more graceful sack of potatoes and lay there like she never wanted to move again, the second might still be a possibility. But probably not.

Watching the two friends interact, the kickboxer didn’t straighten up from her slouch in the corner until Chris addressed her. Even then, she didn’t say a word; only turned to the assembled crowd, spread her arms in silent invitation and waited.

She wasn’t kept waiting long. There were various suggestions thrown around, one bright spark suggesting a bear hug of her own – Alicia hoped that one wasn’t picked. She’d never used the hold before and, while she’d give it the old British try, she knew she lacked the upper body power to be anywhere near as effective with it as Chris. Not to mention the height and weight advantage was skewed against her.

Fortunately, he was soon shouted down in favour of various joint locks from the MMA fans and scissors from the purists. And it was to no-one’s surprise, least of all Alicia’s, when the end result was a bodyscissors. Well, sort of – it was her finisher, End of All Hope, that won the toss.

Valley would remember this one too.

”Original,” she muttered before waving at the mat in the middle of the ring, ”Mind sitting up for me? Anywhere’ll do.”

"Oh boy." Chris sighed as the crowd's decision was reached. The repeated yell, 'End of All Hope' was taken up by the fans. It sounded like someone's finisher, probably Alicia's. Which meant it was going to be painful, to the extreme. Well, Chris wasn't one of those people who desired pain, but she on familiar terms with it, and she had confidence that she could endure a great deal of it. Still.....it was going to hurt.

"I get to use one of the most basic wrestling holds, and you get something that sounds like a finishing move. How does that seem fair?" Chris groused good naturedly.

When Alica asked her to take a seat, Chris chose the center of the ring, sitting down with her legs extended out from her.

"Like this?" she asked.

Alicia just chuckled at Chris’ grumbling, fairly sure it wasn’t meant all that seriously and not really caring if it was. From the way Valley had reacted, that bear hug might be basic but that didn’t stop it being dangerous.

”Well, you did ask,” She pointed out with a toothy grin which she flicked at Valley as well, before taking a seat behind the bigger of the two blondes.

And that probably wouldn’t mean much to Chris, if she’d not really been watching Alicia’s matches. Hell, it wasn’t like she’d picked the name herself. Moves, in Alicia’s opinion, didn’t need names whether they were finishers or not.

Regardless, once she was in position, she worked with practised efficiency. Her legs slid either side of her victim’s midsection before she curled the left in at the knee and secured it under the right for the body triangle. At the same time, she worked her arms up under the other wrestler’s and linked her arms at the base of Chris’ neck for the Full Nelson.

And then she clamped down, constricting the coils of her legs around Chris’ midriff at the same time as she wrenched back on the Full Nelson. Aside from the pressure off the crushing thighs therefore, the blonde would have to deal with her body being stretched out as if the big redhead had her on a torture rack.

Chris had talked the talk, now Alicia was very curious to see if she’d be talking like that after thirty full seconds of this hold.

Chris's eyes widened as she felt Alicia bear down with her legs, putting pressure on her midsection and ribs, which were stretched and exposed by the full nelson.

"Holy-" the former Wrestle Angel exclaimed before biting back the curse that would normally follow.

The hold was bad, painful in fact. Already, she could feel agony starting to mount in her ribs. Still, her fortitude and, if honestly speaking, stubborn pride kept her from tapping for the moment. Although, much like Valley before when she was caught in Chris's bearhug, she had to think that things would be different after going through a match's worth of punishment from the redhead....

There were two reasons why, since her match with Valley, Alicia had switched the bodyscissors in this move for the bodytriangle (or the figure four bodyscissors). The obvious one was the reason she’d given Dmitri – against someone who knew their counters, the bodyscissors was far riskier. The other reason was that the triangle was even more brutal – with the length of Alicia’s legs, it meant that not only were her thighs crushing Chris’ sides but that her calf was compressing her belly from the front as well.

Between that and the Full Nelson pulling her back and exposing her belly, the hold was if anything even nastier than the one she’d used on Valley. Not to mention, of course, that Chris couldn’t even try and pin the big redhead as a way out. No, she just had to lie there and take it as the British amazon punished her ribs.

It wasn’t a hold that everyone could pull off; you needed pretty long legs to manage the bodytriangle. But, along with the muscular bulk of Alicia’s thighs, her limbs were pretty long. Deceptively so, even.

Still, Chris was taking it like a champ. The redhead was still confident that, given time, she’d be able to break her will with the compression of her torso. Alicia didn’t worry about the timing though, choosing to let the crowd or Valley do that.

Instead, she just focused on nothing – well, aside from punishing the woman trapped in her hold.

‘End of all Hope’. Hmph. It was still far more theatrical as a name than Alicia would prefer but she couldn’t deny that it was pretty damn accurate.

There was a surreal quality to watching this, just sitting there and watching Alicia squeeze the life out of Chris. She’d been there before. She knew the pain her fellow blonde was going through in the hands of the redhead.

She couldn’t imagine how much worse the figure-four hurt compared to the bodyscissors she’d taken in their last meeting, but Valley could make a reasonable guess. It was the same position she used for her headlock signature move, after all. She knew just how much force her own legs could generate like that, so it wasn’t a stretch to figure the insane force Alicia could generate.

Needless to say, it was probably a good thing that Valley had made sure to keep time. Chris Morgan’s long term career might have depended on it.

”Aaaaaaand time.” Valley held up the time signal right as her count hit the thirty second mark, not wanting to make Chris suffer a second longer than need be.

Even so, with all that worry, she had a little anticipation, couldn't hide the edge in her voice. Her turn was coming up next...

Chris had honestly lost track of the time as the hold wore on. Instead the blonde had focused the entirety of her attention on steeling herself against the pain Alicia was inflicting on her midsection.

Once Valley called time, and Alicia released the hold, Chris would heave a huge gasp and slump over to the side, taking a lie down as she took deep breaths. A side effect of having such pressure bearing down on her ribs and abdomen was a restriction of breathing, much like when she had Valley trapped in her bearhug.


"Wow, that was bad....." she groaned out loud once she got her wind back. "Nice hold, Alicia, and I'm never going to enter that willingly again."

Not that she willingly entered holds on a regular basis, but that hold was going on the list of Holds To Avoid At All Costs...
