While Making Other Plans

As the hooded girl was getting pummeled to the ground, Nikolette had finally arrived with the cavalry. She had talked to a PA who had led her to the security, who had left to round up more of his crew. She waited for a moment, fidgeting as she caught the scene on the big monitors. It was nerve wracking and when she caught glimpses of the security detail, she spun on her heels and ran for the arena.

She burst through the stage entrance and took one look behind her as the curtain closed to at least make sure that security was on the way. When she saw they were, she ran towards the crowd and hopped onto the barrier, landing in a squat. She narrowed her eyes and looked from Amy, to Alicia, to the hooded menace. They were beating her up pretty badly now and Nikolette swallowed hard.

"Oi, ya ain't gotta kill her!" The Serb barked at the duo. "Just get her up so we can find out who she is!"

"She actually ambushed me. And you let her go, so now its my job. back off!" She commanded, well aware she would listen but not really caring so long as she got a fight like she was promised. She wouldnt let her slide now that she had gotten involved. The girl inbetween them fell to the floor and started to cover herself up for protection, Amy made sure she kept an eye on her while she kept locking her with Alicia.

"You arent going anywhere until that hood comes off. And you better not take a step closer or else." She said as a forth person entered the fray just as Amy was coming down to grab at the woman's face again again or at least pull her up to get a better opening of attack. "Oh dont worry, she'll live, can't guarantee squat else." She said as she attempted to keep on the hood.

The interruption bought the hooded girl a moment to catch her breath, but in the worst possible way. The moment Nikolette stepped into view she turned her head away and started to push herself back up, though Amy's insistence on taking her hood made that tough...

In a desperate attempt to finally get away, she suddenly unzipped her hoodie and shucked it off, leaving Amy with a handful of hood but nothing else, and her in a red sports bra with only her bandana and short, bright blue hair to cover her face. She rolled away once and tried to kick into a sprint toward the nearest exit.

Nikolette growled at Amy's words. The girl was clearly here for a beatdown and not much else. Alicia seemed to have some sense about her, but she got caught up in Amy's tunnel vision and when the hooded girl shrugged off her hoodie, Nikolette's heart sped up once more.

"Darnit!"

As she saw the bluenette scramble up to her feet, Nikolette made a snap decision. She used her perch and the energy she had saved in her tensed muscles to spring forward. Shooting past Amy and Alicia, Nikolette launched herselff at the formerly hooded girl and crashed into her back, sending them both to the floor. Once she was on the ground, she spread her legs to try and keep them both pinned. One hand reached up to roughly yank at the short locks and face the girl's head to the side while the other reached to tear off the bandana.

Nikolette was practically chewing on her cheek as she reached for the bandana. Her breath was caught in her throat as the crowd looked on in anticipation.

"Rrrrrrrragh!"

The girl went down with a frustrated snarl, stuck again and this time under Nikolette Tessla. She bucked her hips up and tried to escape out from under her, but the grip on her hair kept her in place, and the other hand on her...

"Nik, don't!" She cried out in desperation, grasping at Nikolette's hand to try to keep her last shred of anonymity intact, but even now the crowd was taking a closer look at her.

Is that really her?

Nikolette felt like a spear had been driven through her when she heard the plea. She had been convincing herself the whole time that what she saw and what she heard were not what she saw and heard. Her eyes and her ears, however, they never lied. It was both a blessing and a curse and in this instant, it was most certainly the latter.

"I... uh..."

She stuttered, her grip on the girl's hair loosened, but the grip on the bandana tightened. Even in the moment, she was still trying to lie to her eyes and ears, but her body, mechanical as it was, was no longer going to let her brain deceive it.

"I'm... sorry..." She muttered weakly as she tore off the bandana, leaving the crowd to gasp.

Well, fuck.

The crowd went crazy in stages, starting with the fans in the immediate area and expanding outward as word spread. Once the camera crew got a shot of her face, the whole arena was in a state of shock.

Taylor Parker, though, could only manage a deflated sigh while she glared at nothing. She went limp for her moment of defeat, but she knew she couldn't have kept up the mask thing for long. But now, worse than Nikolette seeing her like this, worse than the Dojo girls and Junko finding out... Johnny would find out, that she was here, doing what she had been doing, and, worst of all, lying to him about all of it.

"Ya wanna get the fuck off me, Nik?" She snarled, and bucked her hips again while she tried to get out from under her old friend and former training partner and confidant.

”She ran into you while running away from me,” Alicia wasn’t in any mood to put up with the blonde’s nonsense at this point. Or the hooded girl’s for that matter, but that seemed rapidly to be at an end. Her punches had put her down on her knees and, from there, it was really just a matter of time.

Alicia had been setting up for a stomp to the legs – nothing too dangerous but she wasn’t letting the hooded girl cut and run again just because Amy couldn’t deal with the idea that not everything was about her. Also, it kept her a little out of the blonde’s way, because the lion themed wrestler seemed utterly set on going for the head and torso.

But she didn’t get a chance to follow through before Nikolette was there, shouting at them and with security not far behind. Time to back off, so the redhead did just that, raising her hands to show she was done. Amy of course kept right at her, but Alicia laughed as the blonde was left with a handful of hoodie right before the girl made a break for it.

”Slippery, isn’t she?” She couldn’t help but mock the other wrestler before following Nikolette at a jog. The redhead arrived shortly after Tessla took the former Hoodie down, standing over them. The blue hair was distinctive but didn’t ring any bells at all. Besides, it didn’t mean much. Hair dye was a thing, after all, and it made sense that anyone who was going all the way to a bandana and a hoodie to keep their identity secret might then think it was worth dyeing their hair for further confusion.

”Do it,” She encouraged Nikolette, leaning forward despite her being nigh-certain that she wouldn’t have a clue who this was, curiosity getting the better of her.

And Tessla did it, ripping the bandana away to reveal…

Alicia squinted for a moment, trying to place the face. It was familiar, like she’d seen it somewhere before, but she couldn’t pull the name that went with it out of her memory – if she really knew who this was.

Whoever it was clearly knew Tessla, but that didn’t narrow it down much. Her thoughts were disturbed by the woman demanding to be let go, at which Alicia folded her arms. No, that wasn’t a great idea in her opinion at least. They’d caught her, even if her face was now all over the internet – and she was clearly someone the fans knew – they really ought to hang on to her until security got their backsides in gear and came to collect.

”Might want to keep her there,” The British woman suggested laconically. ”Otherwise she’ll just run again, or Amy’ll try and rip her to shreds.”

"I dont care what she tried to do to you she did jump me, so now its my issue." Amy said as she tried to remove the hood and expose this crazy woman once and for all however as she pulled on it long enough she finally pulled back only to be knocked off balance when the girl unzipped her hood and took off. "What the hell!?"

Alicias taunting comment didnt help matters so Amy merely attempted to give chase to the woman when the third person involved jumped in and grabbed at her bandana. It was right there after a brief struggle that the bandana came off that revealed who the attacker was. It took a second for her and even the fans in attendance but Amy never forget a face she looked up, and she looked up all the AFW champions especially Taylor Parker. Unlike the crowd or Nikolette, she didnt feel any sense of betrayal or confusion; shocked at first since Taylor left before she joined but it kinda made sense, the way she was cost that belt , neither due to her incompetence she could see someone lashing out, in her mind at least. "Guess that explains your skills, too bad it wasnt good enough to not get caught."

Nikolette felt the breath caught in her throat beginning to choke her when she finally saw who was under the mask, who was causing so much havoc. Her nostrils flared and she briefly took in a few short breaths through her nose as her system rebooted at the shock of it all. It wasn't until she heard Taylor's words that she finally snapped out of the daze.

Shaking her head, she shoved both of her palms into Taylor's shoulders for the roughest shove she could muster. "No! I don't wanna 'get the fuck off ya!" Nikolette barked back.

Nikolette turned and looked at the audience and the other two wrestlers. "Oi! Back off, darnit!" She said and swept her hand in an arcing semicircle at nothing. "I want an explanation!" Nikolette said, her voice cracking a bit as she looked down at Taylor. She had Taylor mounted, but other than that, she wasn't laying hands on her. She was still unsure about the whole thing. Underneath her was the terror of AFW, the one woman war, and one of Nikolette's best friends in the whole world. It was hard for her to process much right now without some reassurances. Without some explanation.
