Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
To give Souko her full due, she put a lot of effort into struggling and thrashing in an attempt to get out. But it was equally obvious, at least to Alicia, that she didn’t really know what she was doing. It was a lot of energy, a lot of aggression, but not a lot of use – it certainly didn’t get her free of the makeshift pin and she was spending a lot more effort in getting out than Alicia was keeping her down.
While it certainly looked dominant as hell to the fans, with Alicia on top of Souko and in total control of the Japanese woman, it wasn’t going to win her the match. It was a bit like a Full Nelson in that regard; damn uncomfortable, undignified and it was forcing Souko to waste a lot of energy trying to get out.
It probably wasn’t helping her flexibility much either. But Alicia didn’t have any intentions of just waiting until Souko ran out of energy and pinning her. That wasn’t her style.
Still, she rode out the other woman’s struggles until it felt like she’d got through the worst and the sting had faded from her leg. Then Alicia went to move up Souko’s back to straddle her head, legs to either side. If she got that far, all the big redhead would need to do was roll over and she’d have Souko in a match ending figure four headscissors.
That would be extremely unhealthy for Souko’s chances of winning the match given the unholy power of Alicia’s thighs.
Of course, first she had to lock it in.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Souko knew all damn well that what she was doing was futile. Kicking and screaming and bucking and rolling, it didn't exactly matter what you tried, when Alicia Wells got you on the mat, there was no way you were getting out of there with all your limbs how they once were. And from the second the makeshift hold was in place, Souko could feel her limbs set on fire. Energy was being drained like water down the drain, and the muscles ached as more and more pressure was being applied by Alicia. And the crowd, they loved it. They loved seeing Alicia do what she does best; Making girls squirm and scream under pressure. And the fans were about to get another treat.
After roughly 10 seconds, Souko gave up fighting and took her punishment for letting Alicia get the upper hand. But she didn't imagine that Alicia would take it and run with it. As she felt Alicia letting go, she thought it was finally over. That she could focus on getting back up to her feet. And the second she could move enough she tries to, only to have Alicia stop her again, this time with something more brutal. Feeling the legs straddle her, her eyes widened. She had a feeling she knew what was coming, and she was right. Seconds later, Alicia twisted around bringing Souko with her and pulling her into the Headscissors. The crowd went wild, this was what they came for. Souko hadn't been expecting Alicia to be going for such a quick win. She could feel the thighs pressing and constricting her neck, the airflow getting tighter. She couldn't believe just how muscled and hard her thigh muscles were. She knew though she couldn't just sit around though. She had to do something, but what she was unsure of. So for now, she took small breaths, trying to get as little oxygen as she could to avoid wasting energy and let her body relax and go as limp as it could. She would lose the battle if Alicia kept it up, but hopefully either she would let go or the ref might break them up. Either way, Souko just had to hold on, and try to ignore the crowd cheering for Alicia.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Even with the hold she’d just had on Souko, it really caught the redhead off guard that there wasn’t more struggle as she went to apply the headscissors.
She’d been expecting more resistance than that. But Alicia wasn’t going to complain or let it stop her. If that was the best Souko could do, then the Japanese woman was about to be taking an early night’s sleep and earning the dubious honour of putting up even less of a fight than the useless Gallium.
But Alicia was still going to knock her out.
Coiling one ankle under the opposite knee, the British amazon bridged up on her hands, constricting her legs brutally around Souko’s vulnerable neck and the lower half of her head. Alicia’s thick thighs and calf closed in like walls of stony muscle attempting to both choke and crush the brunette between them. From past opponents, she knew the pain would be excruciating.
The ref girl crouched nearby, eyes flicking from Souko’s hands to the way her face was changing colour to the vicious grin on Alicia’s lips and back again.
It had only been seconds since the trap closed. But it was clear to everyone in the ring that Souko needed to get out now or she likely wouldn’t be getting out at all.
”Souko?” The ref girl waited for a response. If she didn’t get one, she’d purse her lips, clearly wanting to order the hold broken but having no reason to do so.
Instead, she’d reach for the nearest hand and go to lift it for the first check towards a knockout victory for Alicia.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Loads of fans and observers would comment on why Souko didn't seemed to be doing anything right now. It wasn't because she had been knocked out. God no. She was determined to at least out last Gallium. If she didn't her career would be over. No, Souko was preserving energy and remaining calm. It seemed silly to the outside observer; how could you stay calm and relax when a woman with muscles like stone is choking you between her legs? It wasn't simple to answer either, but it all stemmed back to some advice that her first submission coach gave her back when she was a teen:
Hence, Souko was calm. Listening to the Ref's words, she knew that right now was possibly the best time to strike. It was pretty much now or never. Souko had decided what she was going to do. And it was risky. If it worked, she had a feeling many fans would get a new found respect of her. Souko lifted her feet and bent her legs, pressing them into the ground, Souko began to raise her body, her lower body would rise with ease, her upperbody, not so much. But that was the point. Once she was as high as Souko was sure she could go, with Alicia pulling her down, Souko began to pretty much walk backwards, trying to apply more and more pressure onto Alicia.
Her main goal was to try and roll Alicia backwards, over her head and shoulders, or to at least make Alica uncomfortable. But this was do or die, Souko was pumping vast amounts energy into the manoeuvre. To be able to do this move was forcing her legs to be under immense pressure. While Souko might be able to escape this hold of hell. It was sure as hell going to leave a mark on her afterwards. Both figuratively and literally.
Do you know why people submit to submission holds? It isn't because the person doing the hold is strong, it is because the person in the hold is thrashing out, trying to desperately escape. They burn all their fuel on useless actions because they are panicked. You wanna survive a hold? Learn to stay calm, not to go into a frenzy, and more importantly, not to thrash out and waste energy. Focus everything you have into one escape attempt, and don't rush it either. Put everything in there and if it doesn't work, you are doomed anyway.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
The sudden movement startled the referee into dropping the hand but it didn’t really matter. It was obvious to everyone that Souko was still in the match although nobody was really sure what she was trying to do at first as she got her feet under her and started moving.
There was a certain suspicion to Alicia’s expression but she didn’t really see how it mattered. Souko wasn’t going anywhere, certainly not before she had to tap or risk serious neck damage. Even when she ended up stacked up on her shoulders and the back of her neck, it was a nuisance rather than a real threat.
The pressure on her neck was irritating but Alicia could easily have put up with it for longer than Souko’s neck would last under the onslaught of her cruel headscissors. The familiar problem came when, given how she was stacked up on her shoulders, the ref swooped in to start counting the pin.
”One!”
Oh no. Alicia wasn’t losing this way again. She gave her hold a vicious squeeze, looking to damage that neck as much as she could, held it until the hand came down the second time – ”Two!” – and then the redhead released the lock. With her legs disengaged, she was easily able to roll free, getting her shoulders off the mat again long before the third count would have hit.
The crowd were now starting to get behind Souko; never hugely on Alicia’s side, the smart near-roll up had earnt the Japanese woman definite support.
Rolling her neck around to ease the kinks from the near-pin, the British amazon rose back to her feet, looking for Souko.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Her neck was in agony. She started to let out a pained scream as she pushed further and further back. Somehow she had managed to turn the tables on Alicia, and start to score a pin. But everyone knew that this was just a formality. There was no way Alicia was going to lose to a move like that. Alicia was only allowing the pin to creep up because she wanted to let Souko saviour these final few seconds of pain, applying more pressure onto the hold as Souko felt as if her neck was about to be chopped in two.
After the second count Alicia let go, Souko collapsing back onto the canvas for a few seconds as she bought her hands up to her neck, rubbing it while taking in deep breaths as she was trying to recover from the the nasty set of moves Alicia had put on her just now. Sadly for Souko it wasn't going to go away any time soon. She would have to fight through it. Climbing back onto her feet rather slowly, Souko looked around, locking onto Alicia like a missile. She wasn't about to go through that again, she was sure of it. For now though, she wanted to get Alicia back, but she also didn't want run right into a trap set by the British Amazon.
"Right! Come on!" She shouted at Alicia, raising her fists infront of her face to guard herself as she bounced on the balls of her feet. She was going to let the former kickboxer come to her. She seemed to do better on the counterattack so far. "Come on, come on, come on, bitch!" Souko muttered to herself as Alicia was closing the distance, Pumping herself up for the fight again.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Probably not surprisingly, Alicia was the first on her feet, maybe giving her an opportunity to go after Souko while her opponent was still on the mat. It’d be the smart choice, really, when her ground technique had proven to be decidedly superior by a much greater margin. On top of that, Souko’s neck had to be in a colossally bad way at this point. Between the headscissors itself and the awful angle it’d been at when she tried for the pin, all Alicia probably needed to do was get her legs around it again and she’d have this match in the bag.
But, instead, she stood back and let Souko drag herself to her feet. It was pretty clear from the way she rubbed her neck and the way she held her head so carefully that any more attacks on the neck would be brutally effective at this point. But, slowly or not, gingerly or not, the other wrestler was on her feet even if she was apparently not keen to rush back in.
That was fine. Giving Souko a curt nod of respect at her clear willingness to keep this going, Alicia swept back into the attack. She might not like the Japanese woman all that much, thanks to the personal insults, but she was at least putting up a fight as best as she could.
Moving in as fast and hard as she could, the big redhead feinted a kick at Souko’s belly but the real attack was, unusually for her, a simple lariat aimed to further compound whatever damage she’d done to the neck.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Souko had always been taught by her trainers that cowardice got you nowhere, but it did keep you alive. When Alicia got into striking range for her feint attack, Souko was already bouncing quite rapidly, this worked to her advantage, as the second she noticed Alicia moving her body in any direction that constituted a attack Souko jumped back with a wide step backwards, letting the feint miss it's target. The extra distance let her see the incoming lariat coming in and she was able to use both her hands to grab and latch down onto Alicia's arm like a vice. She had finally gotten the advantage and now she couldn't squander it.
Lifting her right knee up , she shot her foot out like a cannon and tried to hammer it into Alicia's stomach while still holding onto her arm. It was a crude attack, and had no finesse in it at all, but Souko had gone beyond caring at this point. Alicia had shown that she was willing to stop at nothing to defeat Souko so she had to return the favour, even if it meant using attacks that didn't look exactly graceful when replayed on camera. Still holding onto the arm, Souko flung Alicia forwards, trying to Irish Whip her into the ropes the otherside of the ring. As Alicia went forward, Souko ran behind her. She stayed far enough back that Alicia wouldn't be able to easily guess she was right behind her, but close enough that she could land a attack if need be. As Alicia would go into the ropes and turn around for the rebound, Souko would stop and prepare herself for her new special attack she had been working on the Hammer Elbow.
The second Alicia would turn around to come back she would be greeted by Soukos elbow heading right into her face. The attack used the rebound energy from Alicia coming back, alongside the energy in the opposite direction from Souko lifting her elbow up to her chin and then pulling back and firing it off towards Alicia. The plan was to use the two different directions of force and combine them into an almighty bang of a crash, with Alicia's face being the receipt. Souko had never tried this beyond the gym, so she was eager to see how much damage this elbow to the face could do.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
Alicia was not known for using lariats but there was a certain simplicity to the move, even if it wasn’t the subtlest of attacks. But then Alicia wasn’t the subtlest of fighters. Which wasn’t to say that she wasn’t smart but she tended to take the straightforward, simple and brutal approach and it’d served her well so far. ‘When in doubt, kick it in the face’ might not be the most eloquent answer to problems in a fight but it worked pretty well to be fair. Besides, simple plans and simple attacks had less moving parts, which meant less chances for things to go wrong.
Less did not equate to none, of course.
Souko probably hadn’t expected the lariat itself but she’d been moving anyway, which meant her neck wasn’t in the right place. Instead, the redhead found her arm caught right before she had a knee driven sharply into her midriff. Alicia had a solid core and Souko’s knees weren’t the most powerful she’d taken but the hit still put her on the back foot and shook her up a bit.
Enough that the kickboxer wasn’t able to stop Souko sending her for a ride across the ring – although that wasn’t a situation she’d run into before and it’s possible she’d have been sent for the Irish Whip anyway.
She didn’t like the loss of control though. She didn’t like it one bit. She’d seen Valley for example turn this sort of thing into a counter but that wasn’t her style and she wasn’t confident in her ability to pull it off. Nor did she know where Souko was.
So instead, as she hit the ropes, Alicia caught herself on them, killing her momentum dead. The whiplash tugged at her arms but that was better than walking right into the elbow.
Souko’s blow still caught the redhead but, without rushing back into the brunette, it wasn’t as devastating as it could have been. As it was, Alicia took a sharp step backwards, shaking her head, only to catch herself on the ropes.
Then she bounced back with a roundhouse punch, looking to make Souko back off again.

Re: Alicia Wells vs Souko Kawamoto: For Justice
There was no denying that Souko wanted to scream at Alicia. She had prepped her attack as best she could, but Alicia had to stop herself at the ropes, denying her that rebound that Souko needed to make her attack effective. She still hit Alicia with the elbow and she was sure it hurt. But it didn't have the smack or the crash that Souko had been hoping for. Souko had Alicia on the ropes however and that was a good thing. Souko could dig into the woman some more and make her pay for what she had done.
Alicia seemed to have other plans, throwing a nasty roundhouse punch which connected with the wrestlers face. Souko let out a howl of pain as retreated, falling back repeatedly until she was pretty much on the other half of the ring. She bought her hand up to her face, nursing and cradling it as she turned her face away from Alicia. The crowd had gone rather wild at the punch, or more the sheer brutality of the punch. While a large portion of the crowd enjoyed the punch, a good portion were also booing Alicia out of their usual rowdy crowd mob mentality that had developed around Alicia and whether she should be liked or not. That didn't help poor Souko who was still nursing that face as she staggered around the other half of the ring trying to compose herself again.
