Souko Kawamoto Vs Mimi Yoshihara
Standard Match: Win by Pinfall, Submission or KO
This was a big night for Souko. Today she was going to turn everything around. The past was behind her. Enough was enough. Backstage, Souko was taking the final few moments to pump herself up as it became closer and closer until the time to start. The backstage manager would give her the cue only seconds later. Standing around behind the back of the ramp entrance, Souko let her New Music play out for a while. While she was waiting, the stage outside was filling with a mist and a haze. As the first set of lyrics kicked in, Souko walked out, her pace fast, but determined, breaking out through the mist, Souko raised her arms up into the air, letting the mist wrap around her feet like ropes. The crowd seemed to like this whole new entrance and so did she. There was something calming but powerful about it. Souko carried on walking forwards towards the ring, her arms raised, waving at the crowd as she got closer and closer. Souko was in no rush though. She wanted to absorb every little last piece of this experience, it was the perfect renewal, a rebirth, like a phoenix. Ok, maybe it wasn't perfect, she hadn't won...yet.
By now the mist and smoke had followed Souko's steps and it had begun mangling and intertwining with the ring ropes. Rather fitting. Souko climbed up the steel steps, walking alongside the outside of the ropes to the centre, turning around to wave to the fans at the back and sides, by now the mist had risen and was coming over her, pouring over her and landing back down into the ring. She could feel the coldness and the water the comprised it. It was as if she was a new person. Alas, she could no longer ponder on the feeling inside her, she had a job to do. Lifting the top rope up, Souko ducked under and pulled her leading leg through with ease, stopping once she put her foot on the ground, she took a final glance, and wave back at the crowd before pulling herself into the ring entirely. This mist had stopped now and was dissipating into the air. A few strands of mist were left in the ring, and were now pouring off the edges of the ring. Still as statue in the middle of the ring, the crowd carried on cheering, clapping and being their lively selves. Souko bowed her head heard, chuckling lightly as the support of the crowd began to sink in. It seemed as if people were willing to give her a fresh start.
Walking over to the side a stagehand offered her a microphone. Gripping onto the mic she walked back to the centre of the ring, tapping the mic to test it was working, the echoing thud across the arena confirmed it did indeed work. When she reached the centre of the ring she raised her mic to her lips and spoke. "Thank you!" Letting it hang for a second, the crowd started cheering once more. A smile decorating the wrestlers face "When i came out tonight. I didn't know what sort of reception i was going to get. I didn't know how you were going to treat me" Souko outstretched her arm towards the crowd of roaring fans "But you all forgave me, allowed me to be reborn. Allowed me to start again. So i owe this to you. All of you. I will rise like a Phoenix and burn a trail in this league that it stays lit up for centuries!" Holding the mic away again the crowd went crazy once more. Souko couldn't have asked for anything more. Looking around a final time she raised the mic up again and began walking to the ring corner "Now enough of hearing me sob on and on Lets start doing what you all came to see!" With that she held the mic and rested against the turnbuckle, closing her eyes to help absorb the atmosphere more until her opponent arrived.
