Finding her way around

Sheena nodded as Suzumi showed her around at the various places she could use to improve herself. Impressed by the facilities that they and now she had at her disposal. When asked by the woman Sheena turned towards her and smiled.

"Well yeah, though ive stayed in shape its been a long time since ive had a match so I figured it would be best to take care of any lingering issues before I step into the ring again."

"I totally get that, it makes sense. Like, where did you wrestle before? Have you wrestled long and did ya win any titles back where ya used to be?" Suzumi rattled off questions quickly as she found herself growing more comfortable around Sheena. She took a breath and gave the poor, possibly overwhelmed rookie.

After Sheena was able to reply to her rapid fire questions Suzumi did have one last line of training related questions. "Okay, so like do ya want to do some lifting with me? Maybe we can turn it into a friendly competition to see who can do more reps of the same weight or max out at more weight?"

"Some underground place youve probably never heard of. I sarted when I was 16 and its been 8 months since I last wreslted there. I was a contender for its singles title once but I only ever got one shot at it in a four way match that I lost." She answered as quick as she could to the rapid questions, just glad she was able to keep up with the her.

Sheena went wide eyed for a second at her friendly offer. She always worked better in competiton so the idea intrigued her. "Oh uhh, yeah that sounds fantastic. Just dont get too upset if I win." She said with a challenging smile on her face.

"That's the spirit! So what should we do first? You wanted to do arms right? We could see who can do the most bicep curl reps of that 50 lb barbell over there?" Suzumi said as she walked up and held it out. She was looking Sheena over and knew it could be fairly close. Suzumi had a bit more weight to her, but Sheena seemed pretty damn fit. Who goes first, you or me?"

Sheena looked on as she suggested her challenge, she was trying to build up her arms and 50 lb was a good place to start for a warm up so Sheena had no reason to turn the offer down. "I accept that challenge. And ill let you go first." She said.

The last time she had done bicep curls she rembered being able to do 15-20 easy but alot could happen in 8 months without going to a gym much and mistly focusing on simple excersices, not that she though she still couldnt do that much at least but it still might hinder her and Suzumi looked to be just as fit as she was if not more. Either way it was set to be an interesting challenge.

Suzumi stopped talkiing, simply nodding at Sheena. She began to curl, maintaining good form, a good pace and deep breathing. 10...still going strong! As soon as Suzumi hit 20 things were getting a lot tougher! 21, 22, 23....still good but slowing down. 24, 25..... her form was still good but she was grunting loudly trying to get the reps!

Suzumi's arms shook as she limped her way up to 26....27....28....29... and after her 30th she dropped her arms straight down and offering the weight to Sheena!

Sheena watched as Suzumi started doing her curls, getting 20 done with relative ease and struggling with 10 more before finally stopping. Sheena impressed and now it left the matter of getting more doen then that. Taking the curl she didnt bother to speak as she started her reps, her form was still good and she she began punping her arm up with no real issue getting up to 10 with no problem, though her arm slipped a little at 16 she still got it up and down no problem and eventually reached 20.

Course that was supposed to be the easy part, as she pulled up for the next one her arm started to struggle but continued, and she got three more reps this way. Her 25th rep was slow and it was starting to become a problem but she continued to push up for more. Her arm is limping along as she finally pushes her 29th rep and then she takes a second to breathe before before it her arm ready to give out as she slowly pushes the arm up..and her hand comes back down as she drops the curl, unsure if she did enough to count that last one as she streches out her arm. "Oh man...I think I only got that far cause I was trying to one up you..no way I would have done that much going first."

Suzumi nodded with approval. "You go girl! You totally tied me, are ya sure you were just being nice and stopping where I did so ya didn't hurt my feelings?" Suzumi said as she winked at Sheena. "Like, we could do a bench press contest or if ya want we could arm wrestle? Pick your poison!"

Suzumi had her hands on her knees bending over a bit and rocking her hips back and forth. She was trying to look like she was playfully ready and not imposing at all. She was having fun with this, and if she could turn training into amusement at the same time, why not?

Sheena smiled and shook her head. "No thats really all I got. We can do arm wrestling, less likley to tie right?" She said as the two got ready to continue their little friendly competition.

Suzumi was pretty interesting and Sheena could easily see herself becoming friends with her while she was here. Laying down on the floor and bringing her arms up she offered Suzumi to do the same. "Alright im ready when you are."

Suzumi did like how Sheena seemed to be ready for just about anything, always a great trait to have in this business. Suzumi laid down across from her and set her arm up, grasping firmly as she grabbed Sheena's hand. "All righty girl, you totally better give it everything ya got because I know I will!"

Suzumi took a deep breath and readied herself. "On the count of three we will go, all right? One..... two..... three!" Suzumi said as the contest was officially under way, with Suzumi pushing down on Sheena's arm with everything she had, hoping that she was going to make some progress! Her arms were tired from the curls, she could only hope Sheena was feeling it a little bit as well!
