Hardcore Reckoning: Peggy MacIntyre vs. Gemma Faraday

Gemma sank her face into Peggy deeply, as she listened to the ref girl give the three count. Gemma's body melted into Peggy's after the three, relief melting the massive tension that had built up within her. Gemma could hardly believe it; after all the struggle, after the massive beatdown that Peggy had managed to lay down on her right from the beginning, Gemma managed to pull out the win!

Pushing herself up, Gemma wrapped her arms around her suffering midriff. The slender Brit had put herself through the wringer for this win, feeling like she had earned more from this than from any match she'd had in AFW thus far. The Brit thought she might cry, as waves of relief washed off of her trembling body.

After taking in the moment, Gemma pushed herself up to her feet. She looked down at her defeated opponent. Gemma felt so good about the sight, the redheaded Irish woman down on the ground, dominated and defeated at her hand, that she almost felt guilty about it. Almost.

"Who's weak now, you slag? Huh?" Gemma said, gasping the words as she still struggled to replace the air in her aching body. "Who's a weak little twig now?" Gemma lingered there a moment, looming over her defeated rival. She almost considered rubbing it in further. Instead, the Brit shook her head, hoping that her words would stick with Peggy after she left. Turning, Gemma walked away on wobbly, weakened legs, striding down the AFW halls with as much swagger and pride as her battered figure could muster.
