In the backstage area, Gemma was prepping herself to head out to ringside.  Still making certain that her body was squeezed into her form-fitting ring gear, Gemma wanted to make certain that everything was in place and ready.  More than any match she'd had in some time, Gemma was dead-set and determined to take it to her opponent as much as possible.  She held a special hate for Peggy MacIntyre, after their last confrontations had ended so poorly for the Brit.





In their first match, after some heated words and increasingly personal insults, Peggy had raked Gemma's eyes and pinned her like a rank amateur.  The humiliation of that encounter carried through to their next, where heated words became an actual brawl between the two women right in the gym.  Gemma did her best, but still couldn't shake the feeling that the buxom Irish redhead had gotten the best of her, yet again.

Tonight was about more than just winning a fight, for the white-haired Brit.  Tonight was about redemption.  Gemma exchanged cold looks with the ring crew, as she made her way to the gorilla area.  Pulling her twin pigtails tight, Gemma rocked side to side on her heels.  Keeping light, bouncing, all of her focus was centered right on that entrance door.  Any second now, she would go out to the ring, and put everything she had into wringing every bit of vengeance she could out of that vicious Irish woman.  Any moment now, Gemma simply had to wait ...

Peggy couldn't wait to tear Gemma apart. From the minute they met Gemma proved she was like all the other slim, popular girls she knew from school, harping on Peggys less than perfect figure for a laugh. Peggy got the best of her though, and knew she could do it again tonight. Peggy was in her usual wrestling attire which consisted of a one piece green swimsuit, gold kneepads, gold elbow pads and a pair of boots that was green with gold highlights on some parts.

As Peggy was walking around the arena she saw Gemma already waiting to go tot he ring. This was a hardcore match, and after Gemma talked about being an expert just because she squared off against some Wrestle Angel in one before made Peggys blood boil. She was about to show Gemma the meaning of hardcore! Peggy ran up from behind and grabbed Gemma's hair, looking to slam her head off a nearby wall twice! "Ya talked about being all hardcore before, lets see how true that is ya loud mouthed prissy princess!" Peggy shouted as she began her attack!

If she could daze Gemma enough, she would keep hold of her hair and throw her down to the cold hard floor head-first! "Come on twiggy! Is that all you got?!"

Gemma was so focused on that entrance ramp that she didn't hear the rushing pound of boots on the floor until it was too late. Peggy was on her in a flash of green and red, Gemma barely getting a look at her attacker between the seconds that she felt the painful pull of her hair, to the hard slam of her head hitting the wall.

"Aaah!" Gemma cried out, as her head bounced back off the wall. "OOH!" She cried out, as it happened yet again. Gemma's hands fumbled around Peggy's, trying to free herself. However, the hard impact of the wall on her skull, and the fear of getting jumped from behind, left the Brit unable to pry Peggy's hands free from her white locks. Peggy chucked Gemma's body down to the floor with easy, tossing her down like trash, with Gemma unable to do anything to stop it.

Gemma hit the floor hard, her face bouncing off the flooring. "Aaaoww," Gemma whined, lifting her head. Legs spread apart, one hand rubbing at her aching head, Gemma looked absolutely bewildered by the attack. Gemma could make out the sounds of the startled production staff, clearing space to let the girls fight. The Brit could just barely make out the words getting hurled down at her. However, Gemma could clearly pick out the voice behind those words. Yet again, Peggy had gotten the best of her, jumping Gemma before she could even get to the ring!

Gemma's face was red, with the anger and shame of suffering that sucker punch. She rubbed her aching head, and used her free arm to push herself up. Gemma could just barely manage to push her torso off the dirty arena floor, however, as she still fought to recover from the hard impacts that had rocked her skull. "You ... absolute slag!" Gemma grunted, anger in her voice, body trembling as she struggled to get upright, and take the fight right back to her redheaded nemesis- if only she could just get herself back upright!

"Shut yer mouth ya whiney little twig!" Peggy said as she rushed in straight at Gemma again, this tim looking to lower her shoulder and drive Gemma into a nearby wall! Peggy couldn't stand Gemma, and knew the feeling was mutual. Honestly, she couldn't even recall how it all started other than words spoken prior to a debut match.

None of that mattered now though, as Peggy rushed in. If she could drive Gemma back into he wall she planned on hammering into Gemma with her fists looking to land shots at Gemma's body... face.... anywhere she could in a violent flurry!

"F-fucking slag," Gemma spat the words, as well as a bit of actual spittle, onto the floor. No blood in it, she noted, that was a good sign. On wobbly legs, the Brit turned to face her nemesis. Peggy had come down on her hard, like a soccer hooligan, leaving Gemma no room to breathe or recover. And sure enough, as soon as the steampunker was back on her boots the thick Irish lass was right back on the offensive.

"OOOFF!" Gemma sputtered, as Peggy slammed into her soft, svelte midsection and drove Gemma straight into the wall. "You can call that one a 'c-cattle driver!'" Gemma grunted the insult, as Peggy's body pressed and drove more of the air out of her. The Brit ended up paying for the snide remark, however, as Peggy laid into her even hard with strike after strike.

Barely able to stand, Gemma struggled to get her guard up. She felt Peggy's fists slam into her tight abdominals, driving the wind out of her. "Oof! Ughn! Nuh!" Gemma grunted, weakly, each blow hammering away at her. "OH!" she shouted, as Peggy's fist smacked her across the cheek, leaving it red. Gemma's body was rocking and bouncing off the wall as the beatdown commenced. The Brit's only recourse was to lift her arms, try to "turtle," and protect herself as best she could with a complete guard. Peggy was hammering away at her, knocking her about like a chew toy, and until she could get an opening, there was little Gemma could do but lie back and take it!

"Cattle huh? You are just a whiney little bitch then! Go cry to mommy!" Peggy shouted as Gemma covered up. Peggy reached out and grabbed two more handfuls of Gemma's hair and ran over to her side twisting and throwing Gemma by the hair over through the air, looking to toss her directly on top of a table that had various electronic equipment and wires on it!

It wasn't the worst thing she could do but deep down Peggy knew that a rough landing on a table, let alone one that had lots of goodies on it, was sure to be painful for Gemma's back! Winning was not going to be enough today. No... Peggy wanted to destroy this loudmouthed Brit completely. That was the only recourse for all the trash this twig talked, or so Peggy told herself!

As Gemma got pounded into the wall, she tried to focus on that little ball of hate that was forming in the pit of her stomach. Again, Peggy had gotten one over on her. Again, Peggy was beating her down. Again, Gemma was in very real danger of ending up on the ground, hurt and humiliated. When was she going to step up, and make this stop?

Dropping her guard, Gemma was about to move forward to take her own swings, only for Peggy to coil her fingers tightly into Gemma's hair, and start pulling her off the wall! Too damn slow, Gemma chided herself. "Leggo!" Gemma said, snapping as Peggy hoisted her up, pulled the poor Brit off the floor and threw her hard. Gemma went swinging through the air, end over end, only to land on a table of scattered AV equipment! "Aaahhh!!" she hissed, as she felt the hard corners of monitors and powerboxes dig into her back. Gemma arched her spine, stretching her lean body long and tight in absolute misery.

"D-damn," she said, as the pain started to abate. Gemma looked up at Peggy, not wanting to give the Irish woman the satisfaction of knowing how much pain she was actually in. "Bloody hell, I'm on a table," she said, voice straining, "this slag's going to think I'm food. I'm going to die ..." The taunt was a hollow effort, Gemma's attempt at hiding how difficult it was her for to move right now, and how completely she was at her opponent's mercy. But, she knew she could get under Peggy's skin with her words, maybe trick her into a mistake. And right now, Gemma's words were all she had.

Despite all the punishment Peggy had managed to dish out so far, Gemma continued to talk! "Shut yer mouth ya loser! Leave the talkin' to women who know how to handle themselves in a fight!" Peggy growled as she noticed a ladder propped up nearby. With Gemma hurting on the table, Peggy had an idea...

She quickly ran to the ladder and propped it up, hastily climbing up and facing away from Gemma who was still laid out on the table. Or so Peggy thought. There was no way that twiggy little princess was moving anytime soon. Peggy was secure in her knowledge of that, and grinned as she leapt back, looking to land a moonsault splash from the ladder down onto Gemma's torso as she was laid out on the table!

"Oooh," Gemma moaned, as she was laid out in pain on the table. She could talk Peggy down all she wanted, but it was impossible to deny that the woman knew how to lay down a beating. Once again, her entire aching body was a testament to that. Gemma draped both arms over her aching head, as she tried to push through the pain and get herself into this fight.

Gemma was roused from her misery by the sound of a clattering ladder. Pushing loose strands of her white hair out of her face, Gemma looked up just in time to see Peggy scaling the rungs of the ladder. Gemma had been on enough of those to know where this was going. And she'd had it backfire on her enough times to know what she was going to need to do, if she was going to survive!

Gemma shook out her head. Having the strength to push herself off the table was one thing, but she could still feel the aches and pains of the A/V equipment that had been digging into her back. As Peggy mounted the top of the ladder, Gemma could see the smug look on the Irish woman's face. She looked confident that Gemma was powerless to escape. She was only half-right.

As Peggy launched herself into the moonsault, Gemma lifted her legs to position her knees over her body. Getting her knees up into this position, one that had been used to counter Gemma's offense so often in the past, would mean that Peggy's moonsault would come down on hard bone, as opposed to Gemma's soft and vulnerable torso. Both women would then go crashing through the flimsy table, tumbling to the floor. The breaking of wood and crashing of equipment to the hard floor echoed through the hallway, filling Gemma's ears. Coughing, Gemma looked over to Peggy the second she was able to open her eyes. Everything still hurt, of course, but with the impact to the knees, Gemma hoped that the Irish woman might have caught the worse of it. "Wh-who can't handle themselves, Kerrygold?" she rasped, voice trembling as even being snarky was a bit of a struggle, at the moment.

Peggy jumped up and flipped landing a perfectly executed moonsault... right onto Gemma's knees! "Argh! Ugh...." Peggy shouted and groaned as she rolled over onto her back kicking the ground in pain! Peggy was coughing as she tried to get her breath back, as much of it had been knocked out of her upon impact!

Gemma had effectively halted peggy's momentum with a simple raising of her knees! Now it was Peggy on the mend trying to recover... although she was too stunned to do anything other than roll around on the cold floor!
