So now del Rio is the new TNA champ again. And the guy is as boring as ever, with the same boring, uninterested and shaky promostyle. Although I would say he looks more comfortable than he has looked in WWE most of the time.

Speaking of Daniel Bryan and his latest tease, WWE officials are probably shaking already at the prospect of Daniel Bryan wrestling for CMLL and NJPW after his contract expires. I am not sure if he can or should wrestle, but I am pretty sure that he will at least try.

He's going to die in a ring one day. He's already made that decision.

Why would they be shaking? It's not like him joining CMLL or NJPW is going to topple WWE from its number 1 spot on the pro wrestling money machine, and if he does make his condition worse or die in the ring, then WWE gets to look like the good guys for trying to stop him and save his life, not letting him kill himself when he could be secure and set for life with a job with WWE.

If D-Bry DID decide that he wants to die in the ring, and plans on doing it, then frankly, with all due respect to him, that's a fucking stupid decision, and he's fucking stupid for making it. Dude's got a child on the way, and he's going to risk a life with his wife, who he adores, and raising his child, just so he can get back in his undies and die after a hard kick to the head from Kenny Omega gives him a seizure and kills him?

Fuck that. There is no honor in dying in a wrestling ring. Let it go.

I find it telling that the man wanted out of the WWE when they said that he can´t compete anymore in a WWE ring and officials would not let him out of his contract. D-Bryan is out since which time, a year and some(yes, I don´t know the exact date, sue me... ^^ ) ? But the yes movement is obviously alive as ever, I guess he still draws.

The WWE is probably afraid of any league that can secure a deal with guys like D-Bryan and gets the chance to be a real Nr.2 promotion like TNA some years ago, even if Lucha Underground, TNA or RoH do not write good numbers at the moment.
If that were not the case, why make an UK show to stop local competition there? Or booking locations close to TNA locations when the product still was hot and chasing Smackdown in the ratings?
It either is a very small market WWE desperately tries to cling on, then any attempt to topple them is futile anyway.
Or it is the monopoly game of the only serious corporation in its given field who is content with what they have while just doing the least possible input to remain it.

That of course does not mean that D-Bryan will one day plant the flag of NJPW on the burning remains of the WWE or that I find it a remotely good idea of him to step in the ring again if he is really that battered.

Yes, you can say WWE is making him not wrestle because they don't want the PR nightmare if he dies in their ring, but hell, at least it's keeping him safe and he's being paid.
