So Goldberg is now headlining Mania after whinning and complaining for years how he was ruined by WWE. I am surely not the biggest CM Punk fan, but it´s pretty easy to see how you can get mad about stuff like that. WWE obviously learned absolutely nothing out of Bryan vs Sheamus at WM.

Reigns goes over, who had thought that.

Jinder Mahal appears in a single match on a PPV.

Big Show vs the new hipster Rusev out of nowhere.

Definitely an interesting look into the booking philosophy of WWE RAW.^^

Goldberg bitches for 12 years about being ruined by WWE, when they basically bent over fucking backwards for him and put him over big, and he keeps whining about how they DARED to put him in ONE comedy segment.

...and then it works, and he gets to main event wrestlemania and win the title and make more money than I dare say any 5 AFW members combined will ever see in their lives, for a grand total of less than 3 minutes of in ring action.

Less than 3 minutes of actual work.

...Kevin Owens should start complaining way more.

Only watched the second half of the NJPW anniversary, but going over matches in that half quickly:

TenCozy/Chaos was alright, and I should watch Ishii singles matches. I think I get why Meltzer says the guy is underrated

I'll skip over Team Face/LIJ, because my internet broke during this time. It always breaks when Naito is on screen for some reason. Which sucks. Also, CJ Freaking Parker is over as hell. Weird.

Taguchi/Takahashi was great, Takahashi is really becoming my favorite the more I watch of him.

Okada/Tiger Mask W (Ibushi) was AMAZING. That is all.

I like the word SAWFT he uses in that comment too. Enzo is probably considerably smaller than either Joe or Owens but probably still much more massiv than a common guy on the street.

TNA is running a Jeremy Borash vs Josh Matthews feud.

Saw a couple comments on the NJPW show, so gonna throw my review in there.

(Dark/Pre-show match) Manabu Nakanishi vs Tomoyuki Oka: Nakanishi's old as hell but he and Oka work a similar style. Helped the young kid shine even in defeat against the veteran. Nothing great, but good development for Oka.

CHAOS vs Suzuki-gun: Surprisingly good opener. Fast paced and hard hitting. Fun way to kick off the show.

NJPW veterans vs Bullet Club: Easily most forgettable match on the show.

Jr. Tag Title match: Suzuki-gun wins and will be facing Jado & Gedo for the titles soon. They just did this same shit in NOAH months ago and it sucked. Guess no one learns from history.

Britsh Heavyweight Championship: Katsuyori Shibata vs Zack Sabre Jr. Really, really good stuff.....until the very end. (SPOILER ALERT) Sabre joins Suzuki-gun, who help screw Shibata out of the match. Garbage ending to an otherwise solid match.

Tag Team Titles, CHAOS vs TenCozy: Started kinda slow and Yano's comedy stuff fell flat. Once that was out of the way I loved the rest. Lots of points where the match could've gone either way, and I damn sure didn't expect CHAOS to lose the belts. Kojima paying tribute to Honma by using a couple Kokeshi variations was cool too.

Speaking of which, injury update on Honma:

Jr. Title match, Takahashi vs Taguchi: Loved this match. Totally agree with Vcom about Takahashi becoming more of a fav of mine with each match he has. Both are in ring geniuses and worked extremely well together. Not looking forward to KUSHIDA likely ending Takahashi's reign in the near future, but that's another issue.

Okada/Tiger Mask W: Okada just cranked out a solid Match of the Year contender with an anime character. (granted Kota Ibushi was the anime character, but still). Could ramble all day about this match, but to sum it all up it was a thing of beauty. Think a match of that quality was maybe even Wrestle Kingdom main event quality. Any NJPW fans or people who have any general interest in the promotion should go out of your way to find that match and watch the hell out of it.
