SS 16 Thunder Round: Akiha Kosha Vs. Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt Vs. Belinda Northman

Belinda was grabbed by both of the Aristocrats who started to pull the Swede up and over the ropes. The young blond tried to struggle, her hands grabbing into the top ropes as she shook her head and held onto dear life...she didn't want to get eliminated this way.

It hurt to think that she was gonna be thrown out in this way...but her arch-rival teaming up with a conniving busty blond....it felt unfair, it felt as if she had been on the top of the world a second ago and close to eliminating her rival by herself...perhaps this was her punishment for getting help from Gabbie...who knew.

After a long bit of struggling the Swede's body was finally pushed over top ropes, her hands lost their grips and she was soon dropped down and fell right into her back to the outside of the ring. A loud amount of jeers and boos rained down among the fans as the Swede was eliminated...

Belinda's fervent struggling made eliminating her all the more irritating and cumbersome, in particular when Belinda clasped onto the top rope. Gwendolyn scoffed and grit her teeth from how much of a fight she was putting up, the heiress very nearly losing her grip at several points were it not for the timely assistance of her fellow aristocrat.

A large section of the nearby audience were rising to their feet from witnessing the Northman sister hoisted upward, offering her encouraging applause and chanting before their hopes were inevitably dashed. Belinda eventually being unceremoniously chucked out of the ring by the double teaming aristocrats to the intensified vocal disapproval of the entire stadium. Gwendolyn then taking little time to hop up on the bottom rope and lean over slightly, unable to resist the urge to offer Belinda some parting words on her way back up the ramp.

"Au revoir, chère Belinda~...Such a dreadful shame that adequate wrestling skills apparently don't run in the family~...Tata~..." Gwendolyn elegantly gloated with a pompous smirk, the heiress fancifully flicking her wrist as a final wave goodbye towards the lesser known Northman sibling.

A bit of Akiha wanted to fight Belinda last and defeat her since Belinda had two wins over her compared to Akiha one win over her.  So beating her would have tied the feud up.  Still eliminating her here and now was fine, it was still a victory over her rival, a tainted one but a victory none the less.  Besides she could then easily eliminate Gabbie before going one on one with Gwendolyn, someone who she didn't have a victory over, so, in the end, it would all work out for the best.  She then heard Gwendolyn comment about Belinda, this strike a nerve within the raven hair wrestler.

“What Is That Suppose To Mean?” stated Akiha in an annoyed tone as she focused her attention on her fellow aristocrat.  “Are You Saying MY Rival Is Weak.  Are You Saying I AM Fighting A Weak Person?  Are You Saying I Have Lost To A Wrestler With No Talent?” stated Akiha as she had taken offense to Gwendolyn comment.  Belinda was her arch rival, someone who Akiha had lost to in her first major PPV at the Lightning Tournament that took place in Avalanche.  So when someone insulted Belinda wrestler talent, it was also an insult to Akiha as well.

After hopping down from the bottom ropes from having just bid a fond farewell to the first elimination of the night, Gwen delightfully envisioned how the rest of this matchup would unfold. The aristocratic duo now could easily eliminate Gabbie given that her sole companion in this match was no more, to which Gwen could then square off against her raven-haired partner. In what would seem like an even matchup, were it not for Gwen's entourage acting as her safety net on the outskirts of the ring. The heiress' plans all unfolding perfectly before...

"Eh?!...Well...I...You..." Gwen found herself staring in wide-eyed bewilderment towards Akiha's sudden outburst, unable to get a solid word in between her partner's unprovoked ramblings. Utterly confused from being wholly unaware of whatever relationship the two of them may have had, Gwen nevertheless folded her arms across her chest and responded to her partner's argumentative blustering in kind.

"Apparently you're the one saying all of that, not moi~...It's certainly no concern of mine that you find yourself woefully incapable of defeating such a lowly opponent, which I might add doesn't speak quite highly of you, Madam Kosha." Gwen pompously imparted with her eyes closed and snooty head held high. "And perhaps you should adopt a far more appreciative tone of voice considering it was only thanks to MY exemplary performance and cunning techniques that you haven't been eliminated long ago~..."

Gabbie had been too debilitated from the low blow to keep the two aristocrats from unceremoniously dumping the pretty blonde out of the ring. She felt a pang of regret at not muscling through the pain. She most likely needed Belinda to survive Gwendolyn and Akiha's inevitable tag team. Not only that, but a part of her was hoping that she could have fought Belinda one on one for a bit. The two of them had never really gotten the chance.

However, while she was thinking of a plan to try and deal with the two, something surprising happened. After they eliminated Belinda, the two began to bicker. Akiha's words, especially, were unusual to Gabbie. Did she REALLY care about some throwaway insult from Gwendolyn? Akiha was even more sensitive than Gabbie thought, and Gabbie already thought the young Japanese aristocrat was pretty darn sensitive.

When Gwendolyn seemed to continue her indefatigably antagonistic ways, Gabbie grinned. The two of them, for as smart they both probably thought they were, were a bunch of egomaniacal idiots. readjusting to a low squat, Gabbie tensed her muscles and sprung at the pair like a cheetah. She kept low, built up speed and when she was close, launched herself at the squabbling pair, flying off the ground and extending her arms to crash into both of them with as powerful a double lariat as she could muster!

"Haaaaaaaa!!!!"

Akiha was now getting madder by the second. To everyone it must seem irrational, as to them it seemed that the raven hair wrestler hated Belinda. But in truth Akiha loved Belinda and couldn't stand it when someone talked ill about her. The Japanese wrestler had not expected an apology but if Gwen had just backtrack a bit, she would have been fine with that but instead, her so called partner threw more insults at Akiha, further enraging the raven hair wrestler. The crowd would cheer at the sight, glad to see that the two aristocratic where bickering with one another.

“How Dare...” were the only words that Akiha managed to say before suddenly being blindsided by Gabbie who managed to hit her with a lariat. Taken completely off guard by the sudden attack, the raven hair wrestler would be sent over the top ropes before tumbling down. As she landed on the ground both her feet would hit the ground as the audience would then roar at the sight, glad to see what was unfolding before their eyes.

Obstinately standing her ground was always Gwendolyn's fallback response when confronted on any matter, even when she had not the foggiest clue as to what she was even arguing about. The exact details were irrelevant to Gwendolyn so long as she was seen as the undisputed victor in the argument she barely understood. Centering her attention on her raven-haired associate did come with one unforeseen caveat though...namely forgetting about Gabbie entirely before the blindsiding clothesline clocked Gwen and sent the stunned aristocrat tumbling over the top rope!!

"WAAHA!!" Gwen yelped from being sent flipping out of the ring, her steadfast entourage opening their arms to catch their flailing employer but were summarily bowled over from having two aristocrats sent flying their way instead of one!! Her personal trainers collapsing to the floor beneath the combined weights of the bickering duo, the heiress herself coming to a stop on her curvy backside and off to the sides with her arms propping her up from behind. Gwendolyn stared blankly straight ahead for several seconds, understanding what just happened but remaining in her state of denial until the ring announcer spelled it out for her.

"Here is your winner...Gabbie...DESJARDIN!!!"

Gwendolyn shot back to her feet and stared back inside the ring, her stunned expression devolving into unadulterated rage from seeing Gabbie as the sole survivor and pronounced winner of the match!! Gnashing her teeth and clenching her fists, Gwen would turn to punt the nearby stairs that led into the ring...only for her to yelp in pain and hop on one foot from the throbbing pain in her big toe. The surrounding audience interrupting their resounding applause for Gabbie to let out a hardy chuckle from witnessing the heiress' rather hilarious temper tantrum. After massaging her swollen appendage as best she could, Gwen would turn in place and stagger at a hobbled pace towards the person she blamed for all of this.

"YOU!!! I HOPE DEFENDING THAT NORTHMAN PERSON WAS WORTH IT!!! BECAUSE NOW I HAVE YOU AND YOUR INFERNAL RAMBLING TO THANK FOR COSTING ME YET ANOTHER SUMMERSPLASH MATCH!!!" Gwen belted out with a feral gleam in her eye and her index finger pointed squarely at Akiha's nose.

Gabbie bounced against the ropes once she heaved the two haughty aristocrats over the top ropes. The rope itself dug into her bare stomach for a moment before sending her stumbling back a bit. She panted as she watched, making sure there was no more shenanigans from the two notorious cheaters.

She could feel her cheeks heat up as the crowd roared and she lowered her head, letting her blonde and pink bangs fall across over her eyes. She barely moved when the referee raised her hand. Her heart was still pounding and she was panting softly.

She was the winner, but she didn't exactly feel like one. Her attention turned back to Gwendolyn as she heard the blonde begin to lay into Akiha once more, dressing the younger girl down and accusing her of costing her the match. Still... Gwendolyn's words did strike a bit of a chord with Gabbie. Akiha was, and had always been unusually devoted towards Belinda. It wasn't the first time either, as Gabbie suddenly recalled. It felt more like she didn't hate Belinda at all...

But Gabbie pushed those thoughts aside. Gwendolyn's obnoxious screaming was enough to keep her from concentrating any further and without thinking, her mouth opened and words came out.

"SHUT UP, GWEN!" She screamed, almost going hoarse, knowing she would have to to cut the air and silence the Queen of the Diatribe that was Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt.

"If it wasn't for Akiha saving your ass or the other dirty tricks you tried pulling, you wouldn't even HAVE the luxury of blaming her right now! You would have been out of this stupid match a long time ago! For someone who is so rich and so prideful when it comes to the luxuries in life and almost everything else, you seem to like to shop at the bargain bin for your wins...."

Gabbie narrowed her eyes. "This match didn't tell me anything about any of us. My opinion about your skills remains exactly the same as it did before I stepped in here." She didn't spell out exactly WHAT that opinion was. She didn't have to. She was better than Gwendolyn and Akiha period, end of story. Gabbie turned to exit the ring, away from where Gwendolyn and Akiha were.

Akiha would shake her head as she then cursed under her breath, realizing she had lost.  Yet much to her surprise, she then heard the winner was announced.  She turned and saw that Gwendolyn was beside her and had been eliminated as well.  The raven hair was surprised, for all the talk about fair fights and following the rules, it seemed that Gabbie wasn't above using attacking distracted opponents.  Though complaining about it would accomplish nothing.

The Japanese wrestler could get to her feet before she was verbally assaulted by Gwendolyn.  Losing the match was bad enough but now her fellow aristocratic was taking it out on her.  The raven hair wrestler wasn't going to take it.  Had Gwendolyn focused on the match instead of throwing insults, this would have not happened.  Akiha though knew that she was at fault as well.  Had she not let her temper get to her and simply ignored the comment, the duo would have probably not been eliminated.  The fault laid with both of them and Akiha knew that much.

The raven hair wrestler was about to speak up and attempt to put Gwendolyn in her place but much to her surprise, Gabbie began to speak.  She watched as the winner of the match berated the blonde aristocratic.  The Japanese wrestler took a moment to listen to everything while thinking about it all.  Perhaps it was best if she didn't say a word and let Gabbie becomes the focus of Gwendolyn hate.  Akiha still wanted to remain friends when Gwendolyn, she knew that the two of them needed to work on their teamwork.  Despite what Gabbie had said, Akiha knew that she and Gwendolyn made a good team.  They just needed some practice and set some ground rules.

Once Gabbie left, Akiha would turn her focus towards Gwendolyn.  “We are expected to be elegant in victory as well as defeat.  How about we instead focus on the future, after all, what is that they say in Game of Thrones, winter is coming?” said Akiha hoping that Gwen would get her message that she wanted the two of them to focus on the next big upcoming PPV even if it was half a year away.  After all, if they managed to do well in the next PPV, everyone would forget about this one.  With that, the raven hair wrestler would make her way to her locker room, she was still frustrated and mad at what happened but she would do her best to stay as elegant as she could.

All of her best laid plans had fallen apart around her. What was meant to be a triumphant return to PPV glory from her last SummerSplash loss had now devolved into her second consecutive defeat at the summery event. The odds were clearly in her favor, and yet here she stood with another bitter loss to taint her record and put a screeching halt to her winning streak since her illustrious return address last year...

Though while in the midst of centering her rage on her fellow aristocrat and attributing all the blame of their loss to Akiha's irrational defense of a supposed rival, Gwen would flinch and turn her attention back inside the ring from Gabbie's vociferous yelling. The heiress raising an eyebrow in stunned confusion towards Gabbie now doing the exact same thing, the Dojo lackey now swooping in to defend Akiha from Gwen's well justified wrath.  

"You'll have to excuse me if I don't hold your opinion of my skills in high regard, GAB-RI-ELLE!!" Gwen obnoxiously replied while now assertively pointing her index finger at the Dojo lackey, enunciating every syllable of Gabbie's full name to obviously get under her skin. "Especially since it comes from the mouth of an individual I've already soundly defeated without the aid of Akiha or any supposed chicanery, you arrogant little-!!" Gwen's angered tirade would be halted by Akiha speaking up behind her. The heiress widening her eyes as she stared dumbfounded up the ramp towards Gabbie and Akiha making their separate exits through the curtains, several seconds passing well after they had left before Gwen would speak back up.

"..."

"WHAT DOES GAME OF THRONES HAVE TO DO WITH-!!...GRAGH!!" Clutching her golden-curled scalp in bewildering rage, Gwen finally opted to just give up attempting to make any logical sense out of any of this. The heiress grinding her teeth with her fists clenched at her sides as she inelegantly hobbled up the ramp. The pain in her toe impeding her angered march with her two entourage members tepidly pulling up the rear at a safe distance. The heiress only ascertaining two lessons from all of this.

1) SummerSplash is becoming her most detested PPV.

2) She's never setting foot in Alaska again...
