After-match funtimes (For Brooklynn)

"Bench press. You know, when lay down and lift big bar with weights on each side?" she explained. "You are a wrestler. You need to at least know how to become fit." she said, smiling sympathetically.

In the back of her mind, Feruza wondered if she could actually bench Ruby.

Ruby pondered for a second and then remember people from when she was in high school doing that. She nodded and said. "Um... I think smaller weight would be better. "

Feruza nodded. "Okay! You do not look like you could bench, anyway." she said, not intending to sound mean, but coming off that way nonetheless. She dug around in the closet where she kept everything, and pulled out two fifteen-pound weights.

"Here. Not too heavy, yes?" she asked. For the Uzbek woman herself to use, in the middle of the living space of her apartment, there was a pretty nice looking weight set which she had bought when she moved to Japan. "For me, I will use something different." she said, eyeing the bench like she was hungry or something.

Ruby took the weight from Feruza and it fell to the floor with Ruby still holding on to it. Ruby thought it would be heavy, but not that heavy! After it fell, Ruby took a deep breath and was able to stand up while holding it. She grunted, but she was able to lift up the weights.

Feruza sighed when Ruby couldn't hold up the weights. "Ruby, there are women here that weigh 70 kilos. Those two together are 13." she said, a look of concern on her face. "You have to be strong, little one." she said, patting her on the back.

Feruza decided to show Ruby how strong she could (or perhaps should) be by totally not showing off and just being inspiring, what with her body that she had worked so hard on. "Ruby, here. I am wrestler. When we finish, you will be string as me, is hope. You see those 10 kilo weights over in corner?" she asked, pointing out the large black disks. "Put those on each side of bar." she commanded.

Ruby nodded and put the weights in her hands down. "Ok, I got it!" Ruby would then run over to the bench and try to lift them. It was difficult, but she was able to lift them one at a time and put them on each side of the bar on the bench. It was a little difficult because of the weight and with her size she had to lift them higher than most people had to, but she was able to lift it up an put it on the bar. She was sweating afterwards. But she did it.

"Ok, done," Ruby said, panting a little, "What is next?"

Feruza laid down on the bench, and cracked her knuckles. "I am going to try and inspire you." she explained, before gripping the bar, and beginning to lift! "Make sure that I do not drop it on self." she said, straining a little as she lifted about 50 kgs.

"This is a little heavy. But it is not huge strain for lifting." she said, taking a quick break. "Someday, you will be able to lift that, Ruby." she said confidently, before beginning to lift once more. "For now, start with small weights."

Ruby was in shock that the woman was able to to that with so little strain as she did. "Wow!"
This made Ruby supper inspired as she was told to start with small weights. "Ok!" Ruby ran over to the small weights, understanding their weight picked it up quite easy and started lifting the said weights. It was difficult, but Ruby was inspired and was not going to be stopped!

Feruza didn't want to look at Ruby lifting weights whilst she did the same; that was dangerous. However, the 18-year-old girl's determined grunts were plenty to reassure the Uzbek woman that her pupil was working hard.

"That is spirit, Ruby!" she said, still repping. "Keep going, and you will be as strong as me!" Her ego really was inflating as she trained. She was convinced that her strength was a thing to be desired, and she wasn't entirely wrong in that respect. She was strong, but there were stronger women even in the AFW.

Ruby kept it up for about 10 minutes and in that time period did about 150 during that time, before she droped it, her arms sore and had even more sweat on her body. Her face was slightly a different color from the lack of oxygen due to all the exertion, but she wasn't in any danger.

Ruby fell onto her back, huffing and puffing out of exhaustion.
"Oh... Ok.... Finished...."
