Entropy Title Match! "Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs. Ke: Barbed Wire Match

Alaina drew a deep breath as she stood in the back, waiting for her music to play. She was still in her one piece leopard print swimsuit and she held her Entropy title over her shoulder as she paced. Barbed wire match? Other than never wanting to touch the ropes Alaina did her best to look at it like any other matchup.

As her music began to boom she strode out onto the ramp, holding one arm high as she strut out looking every bit the confident champion. She high fived fans as she made her way to the ring, carefully sliding underneath the barbed wire! She held her title high as she posed in the center of the ring, waiting for her challenger! She handed the belt to the referee who placed it outside the ring with the timekeeper. Alaina took a deep breath as she bounced around in the middle of the ring from one foot to the other.

This was it, her last title defense before her date with Valley Doll at Avalanche. She couldn't allow herself to lose here. She had to face Valley Doll as a champion at Avalanche and show her that things had come full circle since her second AFW match, a defeat at the hands of Valley. Alaina wasn't some rookie anymore, and even as a rookie she gave Valley a hell of a run. This time would be different. However, all that had to be pushed aside. Alaina knew not to take Kei lightly. She would go at the older veteran with everything she had, and the amazon was determined to come out on top here tonight.

Preparing for championship match was territory Kelly has been in before in her career, but this would be the first time she would be competing for one in this promotion. Given her stance and feelings on how some of the other titles are represented she wouldn’t have complained if this moment never came, but she was glad to see a champion like Alaina wanting to seek out legit competition and not turn away those that made a claim to what is around her waist.

Taking a closer look at her body, Kelly had a feeling what she saw wouldn’t be the same once all is said and done, regardless of the outcome. To think otherwise would be foolish, regardless of how careful one was in there.

She noticed how Alaina made her entrance and how she viewed the ring set up. Not that she was trying to pin point anything specifically, just one of those things those who have been around a lot longer do, seeing how the younger guys do their thing. There was noticeable experience difference between them by calendar length, but she knew Alaina wasn’t a rookie anymore.

When it came time for her come out she did so like she’s done before, though when she got to the ringside area and was still slapping hands with the crowd, she kept an eye on the ropes…er, where they use to be anyway. When she finished with the people she took a closer look at the wiring. She found a small that wouldn’t prick her if she touched it very softly and carefully. Even though she was fine, she knew the time time any part of her touched her things would be completely different.

When it came time to enter the ring she took a look Alaina, the referee, then looked back to the people. She played dumb for a moment, asking “How do you suppose I’m to get in there in one piece?” She knew all she had to do was slide in and she’d be fine, but she wanted to be different. She lifted up the apron and looked around before reaching for something. She begins to pull out a ladder and sets it up by the edge of the ring on the side of the entryway. She climbs up and sits on it for a couple of seconds, turning to Alaina and giving her a small wave. “Yo, I’m coming so keep your pants on.” Standing back up she steadies herself before leaping off the ladder, landing inside the ring. Good thing that ladder was stable, otherwise that would have been a nasty start to the match.

Looking at Alaina with a grin she backed up a few steps before taking her jacket off. After tossing it to someone on the outside she turned her attention back towards Alaina.

Alaina extended her hand to Kei, grinning and shaking her head. "May the best lady win." Alaina said matter of factly to Kei as her facial expression clearly conveyed that she was all business tonight. Alaina was ready to go, and knew that her opponent would be as well! Given the match type there was no way the ending could be pretty....

After a moment as the bell rang, Alaina moved in to grapple with Kei, trying to grab onto her and drive her straight back against the barbed wire ropes!

She knew that Alaina was ready for this, and while they went through it already she did shake Alaina's hand when offered. She grinned and held onto it when Alaina spoke, but said nothing verbally. She did gesture to the referee to call for the bell, still holding on to Alaina, not wanting to let go until the bell sounded. If she got away with that, when the bell sounded she would look to still hold onto Alaina's hand and make her smack herself in the face. Though if she had to let go before the bell sounded she would do so and shrug before looking to look up with Alaina when the bell did sound, which like her she would battle for position, but not try to force Alaina back against the ropes, but go near them.

Alaina was making slow progress as she grit her teeth, intent on forcing Kei back against the barbed wire! Alaina grunted as she continued to force Kei closer and closer to the wire.

"Come on.... just a bit more..." Alaina mutttered to herself, trying to motivate herself to just get Mei against the wire and start off the match by putting a hurting on the veteran!

Given how the ring was set up there was no surprise to Kei that Alaina wanted press her against the wired 'ropes' right off the bat. The vet however knew that even with a match as intese as this, it's still wise to control the pacing. She wasn't ready to get the sharp stuff involved right this second, yet she was trying to coming on the receiving end of Alaina's way of thinkng.

As the two battled for control, Kei looked to push herself forward with one mighty trust and send Alaina back and down...and see if gravity and momentum would carry Alaina towards the wiring or not. Either way she Kei was thinking of a follow up to the possible takedown, a verticle suplex after grabbing her when Alaina tries to get back up. Of course it would only be a matter of time before the barbwire came into play, but her wrestling knowledge could still be very useful here. Feeling Alaina not wanting to give up ground Kei didn't go for it and looked to force Alaina away from her, though if it didn't go her way she ran the risk of falling in front of her.

Alaina felt Kei tense up and stop Alaina's thrust! Unfortunately for Alaina, the older woman got low and used a lower center of gravity to halt and counter Alaina's advance!

As Alaina muttered under her breath and tried to plant her feet to stop Kei, it all only worked into the crafty veterans plans! Alaina felt herself fall back onto her backside, although she was quick to get up! Again... not a great idea. Alaina groaned as she was grabbed and lift, with Kei drawing the first offense of the match as she drove Alaina to the mat with a vertical suplex! As Alaina hit the mat with a thunderous THUD she howled out in pain, laying on the mat arching her back!

Other times, Kei might see if an early pin would work after something like that, though she knew that wouldn't happening this time around. Setting Alaina up so she's seated, Kei moves back a few steps and after running back towards her she's leap over her, grabbing the back of her head in the process and snapping it forward.

Alaina felt herself pulled up and before she could begin rising to her feet she was flying forward! Her face bounced off the mat as she snapped back again after the impact! "Augh!" Alaina groaned as she fell back once more onto her back, her hands covering her face as she kicked the mat in pain!

Alaina rolled over to get away from Kei, getting to her hands and knee's before rising to her feet. This was not at all the start she envisioned to her title match. Still, her disastrous start against Bonnie was something she was able to overcome, so she wasn't any less confident than she was prior to the start. She could do this.

As Alaina rose back to her feet Kei was ready for her. Kei greeted her with a few quick kicked before following up with a dropkick. If that caused Alaina to move back towards the wiring she would decide to go for another one to see if she could get Alaina to lose her footing and fall back against or at least close to the wiring.
