No Holds Barred Debut! Ronin vs Haru Fujiwara

Haru's knee raced for Ronin's face, but his fist had other ideas. It raced towards Haru's crotch and nailed him first, causing the big man that owned it to tumble and crash onto his side. "Sonnuva bitch!" Haru howled as he rocked back and forth, cradling his balls in his hands. He'd always liked the eye for an eye saying, but it was immediately less fun when used against you.

Not wishing to be caught off guard, Haru pushed up to his knees and then his feet, still slightly hunched over as he nursed his injury. "Alright, you're not a complete idiot, but you stand to learn ta throw a real punch" he taunted, waving his hands like "come and get me".

The howl was a satisfying sound. He took the moment to stand up without harm, standing tall over him to the excitement of the audience. He didn't go for the attack quite yet, watching him as he hunched over and still tried to stand, before giving a small chuckle at the comment. "You don't get it yet, do you?" he asked, giving a small tsk as he stepped back for a moment, watching him.

He moved forward after a few moments, giving a small smile -- before going to try and punch at him. Though he knew that the other would block him, he would continue to try and hammer blows upon him, taking steps forward to push him back. When he was close enough to the edge, he would move as if trying to wind up for a left hook -- but ending up moving to slam his shoulder into Haru, trying to hook his leg to throw him over the ropes and onto the concrete below.

"Never do" Haru responded in turn as they squared off against each other once more. He parried, dodged and straight up blocked Ronin's punches one by one, working to keep giving himself good footing when he spotted an opening. Ronin was corralling him towards the ropes, that much was clear from his onslaught.

However once Haru's back hit those elastic cords, his own counter-strategy came into play. The feinted punch was clear enough, and Haru dropped down once the shoulder came rushing in. His arms grappled Ronin's waist and he shot back up afterwards, using the sudden upward momentum to toss Ronin outside the ropes instead!

Despite being a brawler, Haru was clearly very intelligent with his maneuvers; even the feints that Ronin was making weren't working quite so well. His debut match was clearly weak on his side, and he could practically feel the audience losing interest in him; and if they lost interest in him, he wouldn't be able to keep his job. This was his last shot in a federation; he had to show he could put up a fight.

His attack was used against him as Haru grabbed his waist and moved to toss him outside of the ropes. He growled softly, grabbing at the ropes -- and spinning over them, landed on his feet. Thankfully. It was close; his ankles were weak from the sudden slam into the concrete. He would make the other pay for that; within moments, he had turned around -- and grabbed for Haru's legs, moving to yank them out from under him so he would slam face-first into the mat.

Haru growled in frustration when Ronin saved himself and landed on his feet, albeit roughly. The crowd however, was legitimately impressed as there were several new shouts and calls of Ronin's name. Quick as a whip Ronin blitzed around and yanked at Haru's feet to unseat him. The boxer landed hard on his elbows rather than his chin, but the ring still shook with the force of his weight.

Haru rolled over onto his back, kicking his legs outside the ring as he aimed for Ronin's nose. While he was busy dodging or getting hit, Haru would swing himself outside the ring and use the momentum to propel himself into a tackle. Haru roared as he lowered his head and opened his arms to prepare to give his opponent one nasty takedown.

There they were. The few calls of his names. Good, if he could manage to squeak out with a few fans today, it would be enough. He wasn't going to give up easily on this match -- he still had a lot of fight in him, and he could still win this. The kick at his nose was predicted, so he dodged and stepped back. The slip out of the ring was also expected, and a bit hoped for. It was easier to cause damage out here, and it was clear that Haru needed a little more…illegal blows to get taken down.

Though the tackle wasn't so much predicted, it still worked for him. He actually moved forward a bit so he would slam against the concrete, with their heads close to the metal divider. He would move to quickly wrap his thick arms around Haru -- and pull his knees up in order to wedge Haru up a bit and slam him against the metal as hard as he could. Hopefully enough to get him distracted for a few moments.

Haru's shoulder dove into Ronin's abs and soon enough they were heading for the ground. However as soon as he had smacked down, Ronin used his knees to continue Haru's momentum and thrust his head into the metal divider behind them. BOOOM! The divider was displaced slightly with the force of impact and Haru slumped down atop Ronin. "Grahhh!" he shouted in immense pain as the hugeass headache set in immediately.

The boxer rolled away from Ronin onto his chest, still clutching at his head. He shook his head vigorously back and forth to shake the lingering electric jitters that tingled his limbs. So Ronin was definitely more capable than he let on, sort of like a guy who never upped his game or revealed his hand till he was going to play it. If he didn't have such an ache in his head, Haru might have grinned at the prospect of such a challenge.

Now he was getting somewhere. The man slammed into the metal divider roughly, eliciting a sharp intake of breath from the audience. He shoved Haru off of him before he got too distracted by the feeling of the man against him, around him; his hand drifted along that toned body for a moment before he got up. Hopefully, he didn't notice that wandering hand.

The Japanese man reached down and grabbed for Haru's hair, moving to yank him up to his feet. "I'm not a nice guy." With that, he yanked him over toward the corner of the ring -- and moved to slam his head against the cornerpost. If successful, he would go over under the ring and dig around for a weapon.

That wandering hand most definitely was an informative tidbit Haru stored away for later, when he had more than half a brain to think on. He let out a low growl when Robin grabbed his hair and hauled him to his feet, evidently to try ramming him into the corner post. With the second metal object headed for his head in less than thirty seconds, Haru was not eager to receive it.

He was not completely out of the game though, Haru managed to veer his trajectory slightly to the side so that it was his shoulder. Damn was it painful, but it was a helluva lot better than his head. Haru's face scrunched up and he nursed his raw shoulder, glaring over at Ronin as he rolled onto his back.

The man was fishing under the ring for a weapon, but Haru was definitely not gonna let him finish whatever he was doing. The crowd's noise level erupted in new levels when Haru began to lift the heavy metal stairs. He grunted with true effort as he got them horizontal across his chest and then picked up ramming speed as he headed right for his foe.

The fact that Haru had changed the trajectory was lost to him as he actually ended up going under the ring in search of the weapon he really wanted. He had it in mind, he knew it was there, it was just a matter of finding it. Finally, those fingers clasped around it as the crowd began to lose their minds. He knew he was coming for the counter attack, so he yanked the weapon out as soon as he could.

A wooden kendo stick suddenly lunged out and slammed across Haru's torso roughly, working to make him drop the stairs, yanking back the stick. He would move to take a few steps back and stand at attention, kendo stick sticking up as if wielded by someone who was a professional; he knew the weapon well, from many classes taken in middle school and high school. Of course, if he didn't get him to drop the stairs -- well, that would hurt.
