Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
Valley liked Alicia. She liked this match. She liked being challenged. She liked being pushed to her limits and being put up against the wall, giving the world a chance to see what she could do when she was at her lowest. She liked that everyone was getting to see how good Alicia was against someone who could hold their own against her, and that this might open some doors for her in the future.
But, good Lord, was she not looking forward to doing this again anytime soon. Her face felt like raw hamburger, smashed and bashed, her head was aching, and the crowd’s chants, while appreciated, did nothing to quell the raging headache. She was in a bad way, and she had precious few ideas on how to make things any better.
The first step would be getting back on her feet, but Alicia didn’t give her that luxury. The Slamazon was stomped back into the mat. It took away the precious stamina reserves she’d been building up, leaving her easy prey - when Alicia grabbed her by the wrist, there wasn’t much resistance.
Valley blinked and groaned and shook her head as she was limply dragged along the mat, doing her best to regain some semblance of a lucid mind. She didn’t know what Alicia was planning for her in the corner, but it was safe bet that it would involve a good amount of pain. She had to be ready and cognizant, stay awake and be on the lookout for an opening...if one ever came.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
Grunting with effort – moving a wrestler Valley’s size wasn’t a joke because, while she might be smaller than she was, she wasn’t that much smaller – Alicia womanhandled the high-flyer over to where she needed her. Rolling her onto her front, the kickboxer adjusted her a bit, biting her lip thoughtfully.
After that, it was up the turnbuckle for the first time in a match, pulling herself up by the ropes as quickly and efficiently as she could. She didn’t waste any time crouching either, rising to her full height to stand there high above the ring.
For a heartbeat that felt like an eternity, Alicia hesitated. A mix of emotions flickered through her dark eyes; exultation, the heady rush of the fight, the uncertainty that came from trying a new move for the first time. Maybe even a little fear for Valley, sprawled below her. Certainly, more than she could have quantified even if she’d had the time. And she didn’t.
And then she jumped.
The roar of the crowd filled the air as she flew, the big redhead drawing her legs up to her chest as she hit the zenith of her arc. And then Alicia was falling, dropping like a thunderbolt towards Valley Doll’s chest with all the momentum of an ex-gymnast leaping from the turnbuckle as high as she could manage behind her. Certainly, for someone who’d never hinted at any skill in high flying, she’d pulled the move off with aplomb – enough so that she’d added more than a few fans to her cheering section.
But, as she uncurled her legs with a powerful thrust, Alicia knew that it’d all mean nothing if Valley moved.
Actually, even if she did hit, this was still going to hurt. Her leg wasn’t going to like it but – so long as she hit – it’d be worth it.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
Though she was in an undeniably bad spot, Valley was actually seeing the current state of things as an improvement. Alicia was bringing her towards the corner, and given her style so far, she would probably be attempting some of submission move there, or maybe just going for some corner kicks. Either way, the rope break would work in her favor, and she could use it to get a few seconds of rest from the vicious pummeling. A faint hope, but one she clinged to.
That was, until Alicia let her go and actually started climbing up the turnbuckle. Scaling it. Going up top.
For a second, Valley was confused and a bit fearful. As much as she wanted Alicia to use more wrestling moves, she wasn’t sure the kickboxer was ready to really start highflying. Her own wellbeing aside, there was a big risk to both of them here, if she messed up whatever she was about to do.
Unless…
”Ah, crap.” Valley started to move as she realized what Alicia was about to do. Or she tried to move, at least. Her head was still swimming from the drum solo it had endured from Alicia’s fists, and her body wasn’t responding properly. As a result, all she could do was wait and watch as her foe took flight, jumping high and coming down on Valley’s chest with both feet.
The noise that came from Valley’s lips after the foot stomp hit was like a dying dog, a long, hoarse croak. The pain was immediate and immense, like a knife in the chest, and she reacted as if that was exactly what happened, rolling away and clutching her chest, ineffectively kicking her legs against the mat. ”God…” Her face scrunched up and she burried it into the mat. ”Oh God, oh God.”

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
As far as Alicia was concerned, there was a moment of triumph as she felt her feet slam home right on target.
And then her knee crumpled under her.
While it had undoubtedly been worse for Valley, the landing hadn’t exactly been fun for Alicia either. Though she’d tried to turn it into a reasonable fall, she more or less collapsed off the blonde, tumbling off to the side where she immediately began clutching at her leg. The shock of the impact certainly didn’t do her knee any favours, the joint once again feeling like someone had rammed a hot poker right into it.
It was worse than she’d expected, her leg not having been as recovered as she’d hoped.
Rolling over onto her side, gritting her teeth against the pain, the redhead had to fight the urge to laugh anyway. That probably hadn’t been the smartest move of her career, even if Valley still had to be worse off than she was.
Worth it or not, the double stomp had definitely lived up to the blonde Slamazon’s talk. She wondered if she remembered that talk or if it’d been as devastating for Valley as she’d said it would be.
Mostly, she clenched her jaw and waited for the pain to die down. Once it had dropped back to acceptable levels, Alicia slowly began to pull herself upright with the ropes, her eyes and awful smirk both fixed on Valley as the wheels turned in her head.
Whatever state her leg was in, as long as she could close a bodyscissors, she was entirely sure she’d got this match in the bag. After that, there was no way that anyone would be lasting more than an instant.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
Valley was done. She knew she was done.
There she laid on the floor, with a growing pool of her own saliva beneath her head. It was a challenge enough to just breath, much less move in any substantive way. When she’d suggested the double stomp to Alicia, she’d known the move would be devastating in her hands - she had the weight and the strength needed in order to transform it into a borderline lethal move. But, good God, she’d never expected to be on the receiving end.
In hindsight, she really should’ve known better. But that was the past - in the present, it had cost her the match. There was no way, absolutely no way, she could hope to kick out after a hail mary like that.
...so why wasn’t she getting pinned?
Valley got her answer when she looked out of the corner of her eye and saw Alicia working with her leg, the same one Valley had been targeting from the start. Not that it was slowing her down completely, but it was buying her time. Valuable time.
Valley breathed a painful sigh of relief and rolled over on her back, still clutching her chest. She was still in this. The chance was faint, but still there.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
With a grunt of effort, Alicia managed to pull herself fully upright, leaning against the ropes for a moment. Valley hadn’t moved much, except to roll over, which meant she could rest for a second. She had plenty of reserves left but she really needed to husband her leg now. Between the kneebar and the self-inflicted damage she’d just done to it, moving that joint wasn’t at all comfortable and she was really suspicious of her ability to get anything like full pressure on any scissors.
Of course, having just dropped her full weight on Valley’s ribs, she didn’t think she’d need full pressure but every second she kept her weight off it helped.
She had nothing but respect for Valley’s toughness at this point. She wasn’t going to be taking her lightly at all.
So, once she felt the pain had died down enough, Alicia took a ginger step away from the ropes. When her leg didn’t collapse, she took a second and then a third, each more confident than the last. It was tempting to wait, give herself more recovery time, but that was just giving Valley more of a chance to do the same.
Instead, moving with careful steps, Alicia circled around the blonde until she was on the side away from the ropes. Then she sat down and – taking care about which leg would be underneath – went to roll Valley into a bodyscissors which she fully intended to be the final hold of the match.
Once she’d scored that, it was just a question of adding a Full Nelson and there’d be nowhere for Valley to go.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
From the ring, Valley could see the audience leaning forward, hear them murmuring, not quite sure what to make of these developments. Wrestling fans liked to look at things in black and white - good guys win and play fair, bad guys lose and cheat. After what happened with Gallium, they were ready to throw the latter label on Alicia, but she didn’t quite fit, did she? She was winning, fairly and squarely. She was earning this.
And there was Valley, the veteran, the former, albeit briefly, Slamazon champion, the older, more seasoned wrestler...on the mat, barely able to move, as Alicia confidently closed in on her prey.
They didn’t know what to make of it, but Valley did. Alicia was just that good. That strong. That determined. She hadn’t been in the AFW for even half a year, and she could already tell the redheaded reaver was going to be a real threat. A threat that was closing in on Valley, sitting behind her, opening her legs….
She tried to struggle, but there was no getting away from those thighs in her current state. ”No, no, noooooaaaah!” Valley let out a piercing shriek as the bodyscissors clamped down around her destroyed midsection, making the pain flair back up with furious vengence. Like a deer caught in a steel trap, she frantically thrashed about, reaching for the ropes in the vain hope that she might get some relief.
Low chance of escape, but she was willing to try for anything at this point, desperate to end the torture.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
Part of Alicia wasn’t anywhere near satisfied with this. Part of her loathed the idea of this match ending with Valley still conscious, just on general principle. KOs were her preferred way of ending matches and, while she hadn’t anything against the blonde, that part of the kickboxer just wouldn’t feel satisfied with things if she didn’t leave her opponent drooling on the canvas when the bell rang. But it’d be stupid to waste all the work she’d just put into softening up the blonde’s belly and spine.
So bodyscissors it was, then a tap out and the fleeting disappointment that her fun was over for the night. This time, admittedly, even Alicia wouldn’t mind too much at this point. She’d more than had her money’s worth out of this match and it wasn’t actually over yet. Another bit of her was hoping against hope that Valley’d pull something out to keep things going but… Looking at her, it wasn’t happening today.
There was a stiffness to Alicia’s movements as she settled down to putting the squeeze to the blonde. She was being careful to keep her wounded leg on top, taking the weight on the other, and she could still feel the difference in how much power she could apply and how long she thought she’d be able to keep this up.
Given the way Valley was screaming, Alicia was still sure she could keep it up longer than the blonde’s ribs.
Clenching her teeth, she powered down as hard as she could, wincing at the pain in her knee and the tensing muscles above it. But, despite that, her thick, well-muscled thighs were still more than capable of finishing this match very soon as long as she kept Valley away from the ropes. She’d missed that trick last time they fought, but not this time.
Instead, the big redhead pressed her torso against Valley’s back, going to loop her arms up and under the blonde’s in an attempt to secure a Full Nelson – completing her finishing bodyscissor variant, the End of All Hope.
She thought Valley’d agree with the name.

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
Breathe. Valley had to breathe.
That the trick here, she figured. Alicia’s bodyscissors were clamping down on her innards, mashing eveyrthing together. Every inhale was agony, every exhale was worse agony. Her head was swimming and it was a struggle just to keep her focus.
The pain, though, was the worst of it. It felt like Valley wasn’t being compressed by something human, but some sort of machine, a relentless iron vise that was designed for the sole purpose of crushing bones and breaking wills. Just when Valley didn’t think Alicia could squeeze any harder, she did just that. The scary thought was that, maybe, this wasn’t as hard as Alicia could go, that if she hadn’t spent that time working over the leg, she’d either be tapping or the referee would be forcing a stop at this point.
As it was, the official was kneeling nearby, checking to see if health would become a serious issue, but it didn’t look like they’d crossed that bridge yet. Valley had stopped screaming. Not that the pain had gotten any less severe, quite the opposite, but she was managing to console herself with the notion that it couldn’t get any worse.
Then, right as she was thinking that, it got worse.
By the time Valley realized what Alicia was doing, it was too late to stop it. The Full Nelson was locked in, her body was stretched and squeezed at the same time, and her options for escape rapidly diminshed. This sudden change of events earned a fresh scream from the Slamazon, as she twisted and turned and didn’t get anywhere in the hold.
”Grraah!” Valley barked, looking for anything to take her mind off the pain. ”Got you! Got you…” She kicked her legs to the side, an attempt to roll towards the ropes. Didn’t work. ”Got you right where I want you…”

Re: Alicia Wells vs. Valley Doll - Kicking It
This was why Alicia liked bodyscissors. First they screamed. Then they struggled. And then she got to feel their torsos go slack in her grip, their bodies just unable to take the pressure she brought to the table – and then they tapped. Or, like Valley was going to, pleaded.
Not that she had anything against the blonde, unlike some opponents, but she was way too tricky to be given even that minor respite.
Though her lips were pressed together in a sneer of exertion, Alicia managed a smirk at Valley’s joke regardless. She didn’t reply, of course, but she could certainly appreciate a good bit of gallows humour.
The irony was that her ability to control their position was pretty limited right now. With all her limbs occupied, Valley theoretically had more options along those lines. Theoretically though. Very theoretically and with Alicia clinging to her back and her arms locked up, there wasn’t really anywhere for her to go – not with the mixed martial artist doing her best to use her own weight to keep them where they were away from those ropes.
Gallows humour or not though, her other response was to haul back with her arms and push her legs down. Alicia was doing her best to stretch the blonde out like a rack as she leant back, her shoulders brushing the mat as she rolled back the other way. There wasn’t much else for her to do right now, except keep the pressure up and just carry on working the Slamazon’s belly and lower ribs until either she gave or they did.
So that was what she did. She figured Valley was way too experienced at this to let herself risk a cracked rib or internal injuries for the sake of pride.
And, if she wasn’t, that was her lookout and not Alicia’s.
