Rock The House

"Clyyyyde!" Adrian yelled in sync with the cowboy as she jumped into his hug, pushing the two back into the apartment while Rebecca had to deal with ducking through the doorway, "Hey it's nothing compared to what you did man! You're like champion of a whole brand of stuff, that's awesome!"

"Hey cowboy." Rebecca said as the blonde turned to the ebony giantess, wrapping his arms around the amazon's huge frame for a brief hug "I got some champagne bottles in the pack in case you didn't have enough shit already, just give us a minute to get em out." she said, stepping into the main part of the apartment "'Sup Bonnie, long time no see." She called out, trying to let her voice be heard over the music.

Clyde and Adrian collided with a hug and the cowboy squeezed his friend that he hadn't seen in so long. His face growing red and bashful. He knew he was the champion of Tension, but it always felt unreal when others said it.

"Thanks Addy." He said. "Yer awesome too!" He beamed, throwing an arm over her shoulder to guide her in the house

"Go 'head!" He told Rebecca right as Bonnie's head perked up. She barely heard her name.

"OHHHH!!" Bonnie wasted no time near tackling Rebecca as she plowed into the big wrestler before throwing herself onto Adrian, hugging both of them tightly.

"ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I SEEN Y'ALL! OH! CONGRATS, ADRIAN! Bonnie exclaimed as she pointed at Adrian while looking at Duffy.

"D-Duffy! Ey! These are my friends, Rebecca Tomko and The Hardcore Champ, Adrian Kytes!" Bonnie cried as she beamed with pure pride.

It wasn't long before more people would proceed to near the apartment of Mr Clyde Gastin, a sleek black limo had parked itself on the sidewalk. Emerging from the driver part of it was a young man with brown hair with a few frontal strands dyed red, he wore a plain white shirt with a yellow mini anchor necklace. He had black jeans and black boots, but the most notable thing was his blue ankle length trenchcoat.

It was John Carnaby of the UK Elite, who made his way to the back of the limo and opened it. Where he offered a hand to a female who emerged from it, this was Eliza Harenwood, known as the dancing passion. She was there ringside when Clyde had won the title against Reira, what an event that was. For this occasion Eliza was dressed to celebrate. With black thigh high boots and a black leather skirt, she had a ruby red formal coat on with a creamy white scarf tied around her neck and a black top.

Exiting after her was Ryan Knight, who as usual was dressed a very fine black suit with red tie and white shirt. It was tailor made to display the impressive figure of the British paragon. He held a pair of plastic bags with one in each hand, as Ryan got out the limo John shut the door before remotely locking it.

"Thanks again for coming with me Ryan." Eliza said with a smile.

"Not at all Eliza, now let's go. I'm eager to see how the new champ is, let's go John." Ryan said with a nod of the head, Clyde had met Mr Knight last year near the close of it. It was a bit of a sudden meeting, Eliza had to leave Japan on very short notice and didn't know how to contact Clyde. Thankfully though Ryan was giving gifts out and made sure Clyde got what Eliza bought, the paragon liked to size people when he met them. And the cowboy was someone that Ryan could certainly give respect to.

Plus there was a sort of protocol involved, after all Ryan and John were the Tension Tag Champs. And they hadn't really liked the way Reira ran things, the flyer did say it was an open party after all. So they wanted to give the credit where it was due, Eliza skipped her merry way with her delightful legs and the UK Elite followed suit.

The dancing passion gleefully rapped on the door with Ryan and John behind her, she hadn't been to a party since leaving England. Even then it was all formal, something like this was just celebrating something that happened to a good friend. And Eliza was all for getting down with that.

Just as Clyde got Adrian in the door, the cowboy heard a knock and perked his head up, wondering if ALL his guests were going to suddenly pop up all at the same time.

He quickly opened the door and spotted Eliza and the Tag Team Champions behind her. Immediately the cowboy's eyes widened and he flushed deeply as he saw the dancing passion, he didn't expect Eliza to be so early. He felt like he had to clean his house again. Yet it was brand new.

His eyes would lock on the two champions though. He smiled at the three but wondered what Eliza was doing with Ryan. He knew they were friends but they also used to be a couple and she didn't need an escort. Were they back together now? She probably just shared a ride. Nothing more than that. Maybe.

"Hey Eliza! Glad ya came!" He was very glad. "Didn't know you were brinin' company! The Tension Tag Champs! Now I got more title holders in my home! HA! Nice ta' see you boys again. Ryan, John. Didn't expect ta' see y'all but yer welcome to casa del Gastin! C'mon in and grab a drink!" Clyde said as he opened the door for the trio.

The UK Elite weren't the only newcomers to show up, however. Soon after they arrived, another three figures could be seen walking up from the nearby bus stop-- a short, dark-haired girl, and two taller guys, one of whom was carrying a small cooling fridge in both arms.

"You know, I think Clyde will have enough booze on hand, Tosh," Makie said as she glanced back at her brother. For the occasion, she had chosen to wear a simple red blouse, white skirt and punky black jacket. "I mean, he is from Texas after all."

Toshio was even less formal, wearing a black jersey and beige slacks, and he grinned down at his younger sister. "Eh, so he won't mind if I bring more!" the silver-haired Akamatsu brother replied. "I mean, the event was BYOB, right?"

"Bring your own beverages, not bring your own bar," Kyo replied tersely. Kyo, as usual, was the most conservatively dressed, going for a t-shirt, jeans, and denim jacket that seemed to make him look more aloof than usual.

None of them had an official invite-- they had all just picked up flyers from the arena. But they had all decided that they wanted to attend the party anyway-- not only did they want to congratulate the new Tension champ in person, but also a chance to mingle with the stars of the fed-- something that they rarely ever got to do.

"Quit bickering, you two," Makie sighed. "Just try to be on your best behaviour, okay? That means you, Toshio, don't hit on everything with two legs and a pair of boobs, and you, Kyo, at least try to act casual instead of like Mr. Super Serious Samurai."

Kyo stiffened at Makie's comment, but Toshio cut in before he could say anything. "Just as long as you don't pick any fights with anyone, sis," he said with a grin. "Last I checked, you were beaten once upon a time by Clyde, yeah?"

Makie reddened at Toshio's retort. "Sh-shut up, okay?" she said. "I'm not bitter or anything." As they walked up to the door, they saw it open for the UK Elite, with Clyde smiling and greeting them. "Hey cowboy," Makie called to him with a grin, "remember me?"

Once again, Clyde was ready to move his guests into the party and settle down as well before he heard a voice address him. The cowboy looked up two tall Japanese guys and a much smaller girl standing behind the Europeans, with one of them holding a cooler.

Clyde blinked and narrowed his eyes before they widened suddenly. "Ah! Makie Akamatsu and The Akamatsu brothers!" Clyde declared, recalling the hard fought match he had Makie had long ago and the awkward exchange they had where Clyde accidentally groped Makie and then got clobbered by a steel chair wielded Toshio.

Clyde tensed up nervously, but they looked like they weren't here for a fight.

"Uhh... Y-Yeah! Makie Akamatsu! Yeah! I remember you! We had a good match." Clyde declared, giving the trio a very awkward thumbs up.

Soon enough, yet another new face would turn up to the celebratory party, and yet another not so much formally invited, but one who took the 'help yourself' style invites left around AFW.

Making her way up to the given address, Italian AFW newcomer Diana Accera would be clad in somewhat loose casual attire, her jacket zipper somewhat swaying into the crate of beers she held in her right hand. Whilst not at all the sociable sort, hell, Diana would of been unlikely to turn up to her own friends party let alone ones she wasn't strictly invited to, the Italian made the effort strictly for a ulterior motive. To get her face somewhat known.

That being said, she wouldn't exactly be going out of her way to be known as 'that bitch who made a scene at Clyde Gastin's party,' more so aiming to see a few faces, remember a few names, and hand over her beers, purely out of etiquette.

Arriving quickly enough, she'd already spot the somewhat orderly collection of guests; one arm over her crate, the other to her hip, she opted to simply 'join the line,' awaiting a most likely awkward greeting given that Clyde had never met the woman.

A car pulled up in front of Clyde’s house and jockeyed for position, looking to slide in with some skillful parrallel parking. It wasn’t much to look at - a beat-up looking thing, showing its age, possibly in need of a new paint job. But, as with most things, it was the inside that mattered.

This would be the first party Kozue Kaburagi attended since she’d come over to Japan. That was an odd statement by itself, since she’d went to them every other night when she was back in the states. But she’d kept her Japanese social circle small, and it was only just now starting to blossom out into something more.

So, this was a welcome benchmark, and hopefully the start of her maybe getting out more and meeting people and actually getting a real social life going. She’d be meeting a lot of people here, people she normally didn’t cross paths with it. It had potential.

Luckily, she didn’t have to brave it alone. “So, Fem, penny for thoughts.” Kozue nodded towards her lover and date-for-the-evening, as she finally managed to squeeze her compact car into a space that was almost too compact for it. ”Think it’s wrong I’m a wee bit jealous of Clyde? Professional and personal opinions, if you don’t mind.”

"Ohoho, I charge a lot more than a penny for those, ma chere. You're lucky I'm the fraternizing sort!"

Femie chirped. Her and Kozue had become friends since their initial encounters and Femie was happy to have her counted as a friend. Despite being a social butterfly herself, the Belgian didn't have many companions she could call up to have a drink with or spend a night out or, sometimes, do other things with or to. She was glad Kozue had been so open with it as well and she thought that maturity was part of what made everything work nicely.

It is why it was no trouble when Kozue invited her to a party in Kyoto for the newest Tension champion. The idea of meeting new people was quite exciting as well as the curiosity that came from it in a professional capacity.

Once they came to a halt in the complex's parking lot and Kozue posed her question, Femie couldn't help but chortle a bit. "In a competitive setting a little bit of jealousy is healthy. It helps drive people. Just don't let it turn into something negative. You may have fallen short in your own attempts at glory and Clyde may have succeeded in his, but that is not all there is to it. Your doors aren't closed and his time in the sun is not permanent. You fought valiantly and you should be quite proud of what you've done so far and, perhaps, you may be the one to topple monsieur Gastin from his perch. You have the skill, n'est-ce pas? You have the drive."

Femie pulled down the sun visor and checked her monocle. "Be jealous, ma chere. Just don't be bitter." She turned and looked back at Kozue. "How do I look? Classe suprême, non? Ohoho!"

It was funny, but until Femie mentioned it just now, she hadn’t considered a simple fact: she’d never fought Clyde. Ever. That actually made her somewhat unique among dedicated Tension women. Who knew how it would end up? Just because Reira beat her and Clyde beat Reira didn’t mean that Clyde could beat her, too. Maybe she could get back up the ladder, earn another title shot, take him by surprise…

”Jealous, not bitter.” Kozue switched off the car and flopped back in the seat, digesting the words. Femie had a great way of putting things into perspective, helping you see the brighter side of things. It was one of the many reasons - sexual and nonsexual - that Kozue liked her presence. ”Good shit, I like that. And you look like an incredibly hot Belgian with a monocle and poodle curls. Works for you, but...wait, wait, wait.”

Kozue reached up and gave one of Femie’s curls a little fluffing, getting them to accencuate her shoulders just right, evening them up on both sides. [color=#000099]”Perfect. And a damn sight better than me.”[color=#000099] Kozue stretched out in her seat, showing off her party outfit, which was pretty much the same thing she always wore. Her sneakers, her Legend of Zelda t-shirt, and her short shorts. A sad but accurate representation of her entire wardrobe.

”Gotta update.” Kozue sighed. ”Really.”
