Boot the Reboots

Force Unleashed was awesome, and would have made a much better film.

Take out the Star Wars name and the "Only here for the paycheck" characters, and Force Awakens would have been trashed more than that one dumb film with the dog eared people in space starring the sexy guy with no talent and Mila Kunis

That is more wrong then you realize, he idolized Vader and wanted to be like him in his very image and wanted to uphold his legacy but he was SO bad at it...

Yes but Ren's path is different then that of vader's. People forget that Ren is still an apprentice, and is not as...refined, as vader was. The film was not perfect and I will never claim it to be. But I felt it was head and shoulders above the prequels. Abrams gave the fans what they wanted. A star Wars that feels like the original tone of the franchise. He succeeded, and critical and audience reception backs it up. Episode 8 will dive into new territory for the saga, and I can't wait to see what Luke has been up to, and if my theory about rey is still correct.

It was to star wars' what street fighter 4 was to that series. A way to reintroduce everything so the next one could change things up.

I don't have a dog in the star wars fight because i am entirely ambivalent about the franchise but i feel that after two incidents of screaming into the theater in rage you would stop going to see it

like, sometimes people call me up and they're like "hey, rhapsody, do you want to go to the basketball game this week, we're playing [INSERT COLLEGE OF CHOICE]" and that's nice of them to offer but during the two games of it i've been to i've realized i'm not really a fan of basketball, and would rather do other things

and so i just say 'sorry, i have to finish some coursework / go to band practice / stare into a zohar for three hours / post on an anime wrestling website / submerge myself in the bathtub and listen to the magnolia soundtrack' and don't go, and i'm happy, or at least not unhappy

I should, but I'm too nice to my friends and family to say no to them if it's something that is a big deal to them. Aside from my parents, all I said them was "meh, could have been much more better" instead of blatantly saying it was crap.

.....awwwwwwww shit. Well to be fair, Crystal Skull felt more like a lucas film than spielberg, and without lucas' interference, it COULD, in theory, work.

I liked Mortal Kombat 1.

Not exactly for actors with the exception of Christopher Lambert as Raiden, but the movie as a whole was like a MK movie I would have expected. Fights are nice, especially Scorpion versus Johnny Cage.

I already feared the Spielberg would drag Ford into Indiana Jones again, despite knowing that Shorty is old enough to portray Indy now. He´ll probably be pressing 80 then, the movie is probably starting in an retirement home or at a meeting of Professors emeritus where Indy is bored too tears.

Khylo Ren is my personal weak link of SW7. It starts promising with him, a tough guy that was trained by Luke and idolizes Vader. But then he takes his helmet off and everything goes down the drain.
