Nooo. Deep down I know it's awesome. :P

It's fine if that's what they think, but I think it was an utter pile mess of skunk dung. I'll never understand why people like it besides it having Han, Leia, Chewy, Luke, 3PO and R2 in it as it was a very poorly made A New Hope rehash with bad wanna-be's of Vader and Sidious. I feel about The Force Awakens like how people felt about Indiana Jones Crystal Skull.

If you look deep into it, the film isn't a rehash. And based solely on A New Hope, Kylo Ren had FAR more development as a villain than Vader in his first film.

I watched the film 4 times, I've seen it plenty of times to say that it IS a rehash. There are NUMEROUS scenes that are modified copies of New Hope scenes, and WHAT development did Ren get? None, he was a whiny temperamental brat that lashes out at everything in a pathetic fit if things don't go his way with pixel perfect precision while every other Sith Lord takes care of the failures calmly but brutally. Ren was the biggest embarrassment to the Sith order ever.

Mortal Kombat 1 was cool. It wasn't GREAT, but hell Mortal Kombat 1 the game wasn't great either.


Prince of Persia was a good movie as long as you accepted that it wouldn't be like the game. On its own, it wasn't bad.

That's fine. Cause he isn't a sith. Unlike Vader, Ren was still learning the ways of the dark side at the time of the film. While vader could contain his rage, Ren's is volatile, and prone to unexpected outbursts. He isn't meant to be vader, and is his own person.

Force Awakens was awesome.
