Tempest Tournament Semifinals: Ren Hitasaki Vs. Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt

Heaving Ren overhead was a seamless and fluid motion, and one that landed Gwen's well-mannered opponent right on her firm backside. Gwen wasted little time in capitalizing further, dropping down to one knee behind Ren and interlocking her fingers beneath her opponent's chin.

Gwen's kneecap would protrude into Ren's spine while her hands wrenched her opponent's neck back in the chinlock. The tempo of the match would slow to a crawl once the hold was locked in, Gwen's pretentious grin never leaving her face as she slyly turned her curly head left and right towards the audience members cheering Ren onward to mount some manner of comeback.

She started struggling a bit in an attempt at escaping once she felt Gwen's knee press into her spine, though after a few moments she moved both hands up, grabbing onto Gwen's wrists and attempting to pry her hands away from her chin. At the same time, she'd slowly try to turn herself to stand back up.

Ren's initial and scant resistance was an issue but not one entirely out of Gwen's realm of control, prodding her knee into her opponent's vertebrae for as long as she could sustain it. Eventually Ren's struggling would become more coordinated and unseemly, compelling her to abandon the hold and transition to a secure side headlock whilst raising them both back to their feet.

"Sadly, it appears your slipshod form lacks all manner of grace, poise, and refinement, Dear Ren~..." Gwen taunted down towards her entrapped opponent, maintaining pressure on her and wrenching in the headlock with Ren's cheek nuzzling up against the side of her soft chest.

She just groaned as Gwen's knee kept pressing into her spine, though finally she was freed...and then trapped with her cheek pressed to the side of her opponent's breast, her head trapped in a headlock. She wasn't entirely complaining, yet she'd like to, at some point in the match, start to gain control...she then looked up to her opponent as she taunted her.

"What do you mean, miss Bettencourt?" She'd ask, genuinely curious about what it was she was talking about. She wrapped her arms around Gwen's hips, or at least tried to, and if she was able to, then she'd go to lift her up. Maybe if she could slam Gwen onto the mat, she could start to take control of the match. Maybe even win another match in the AFW. That would be nice...the former champion of a small-town league in Oklahoma would have momentum at last. If she managed to win the semi-finals, that would help a huge amount, make her a somebody in her new-found home.

"Ah, so glad you asked. Allow me to elaborate further~...You see, one's initial stance is pivotal in balancing your weight properly and..." Gwen delightedly broke into a long-winded diatribe after hearing Ren politely ask for a more detailed critique of her shortcomings. She had no issue with imparting her scholarly wisdom unto others even when they never asked, but in this instance her favorite past time would lead to her inadvertently easing up on the headlock and not even noticing Ren's arms snake around her petite waist until she was already hoisted in the air!

"H-HEY!!" Gwen yelped out loud once she found herself abruptly interrupted by being lifted off the canvas, kicking her legs out before being slammed back down to the canvas. She relinquished the headlock and rolled over to her front after bouncing off the mat, groaning from the sharp pain in her back as she attempted to get back to her hands and knees.

She somewhat listened to her opponent speak, then she giggled as her opponent realized that she was being lifted! Once both of them had slammed backwards onto the mat, she got up as quickly as she could, moving to straddle Gwen's back quickly, aiming to try to put her in a Camel Clutch should the opportunity be given to her.

Gwendolyn grimaced from the sore pain in her upper back after rolling over to lay on her front, incensed at having been so rudely interrupted before her tutelage could be properly doled out. Raising herself up to her hands and knees would hit a noticeable snag when Ren would swiftly seat her curvy rear on Gwen's spine, prop the heiress' arms behind her knees, and cinch in a camel clutch before she had the time or wherewithal to react to any of it.

"Ngh..." Gwen suppressed her pained groans through gritted teeth as the interlocked fingers beneath her chin leveraged her head back. The sudden application of the maneuver had taken her off guard, and for now Gwen had little recourse other than to withstand the degrading hold until an opportunity to reverse her situation presented itself.

She grinned and managed to lock Gwen into the Camel Clutch, seating herself comfortably on Gwen's back, her fingers interlocked under Gwen's chin. She looked down to her opponent, tilting her head to one side. "Hope you're comfy down there..." She bounced herself up and down on Gwen's back, giggling.

Gwendolyn would refuse to dignify Ren's insipid query with a response, instead wincing her eyes shut to help cope with the pain from Ren pulling her head backwards and contorting her spine into a distinctly curved shape. The heiress' honed flexibility kept the hold from being too strenuous, but even she couldn't hold back some pained groans once Ren started adding to the strain by mischievously bouncing up and down on her back.

"Tch!! Im...pertinent...little..." Gwen snarled out when she realized that Ren had started taking enjoyment from propping the heiress up like this. Her struggles to break free gradually were becoming more focused as a result, the heiress slowly shuffling her knees beneath her with the audience cheering on Ren's application of the hold. Her progress was slightly stilted however, considering the body slam she had sustained from moments ago was compounding the aches in her curved back along with this hold.

She grinned at her opponent, though she could tell that her opponent was trying to escape the hold. Surely, at some point she may consider letting her opponent go..but not willingly. She continued bouncing up and down on Gwen's back, giggling to herself. "Hope you like it down there, I don't think you'll be free for a while..." She then cranked up the pressure even more, trying to lean farther back to force Gwen into a rather uncomfortable position, almost trying to sna her opponent in half. ...Almost.
