Tempest Tournament Round 1: Ren Hitasaki Vs. Mystis

Ren's music started to play, and she grinned before running out onto the stage, leaping up into the air and punching a fist into the air. She was excited for the match...the fact that she was in a tournament made her excitement elevate. She'd been in a couple of tournaments back in Oklahoma, but now that she was in the big leagues, it was even more hyped up, with easily ten times more people watching. ...Which meant ten times more people that could possibly see her lose another match. She'd won the cage match against three other competitors, her first win in the AFW, but she technically had three losses prior to the cage match. One of them was a loss in a spar, and the other was her running away from a match...she hated herself for running like she had, but what had been the only other option? Stay in the ring and possibly have her career ended by Diabolica? She hadn't gone to the AFW to take a beating, she'd rather intended to deliver them. She cracked her neck slightly before dashing down the ramp, her pyrotechnics going off behind her, then she slid into the ring, grinning and waving at the crowd, who, overall, seemed unimpressed with her abilities to win matches, given the fact that she had lost her first two and won one by sheer luck. Once she was done waving to everyone, she took her position in a corner of the ring, bouncing from one foot to the other as she watched the ramp.

Well here it was, her first tournament and Mystis was feeling pretty excited right now about getting into the ring. How could she not? A tournament was a great way to make a name for yourself and show those out there what you're really made of. She had been doing really well so far since she joined having one a few different matches against some pretty serious competitors. If she could do well in this tournament and hell maybe even win it she could really start being taken as a serious contender. Checking herself making sure everything was ready she listened to her opponents music and let out a steadying breath. As the music came to an end and her music started playing she grinned and headed out from the back onto the ramp. The crowd was cheering wildly for her, she had really gotten quite the following and a lot of them loved the ruby haired warrior. She gave a few fans some high fives before running down the ramp and sliding in as well. She popped back to her feet looking at Ren giving her a wink as she went to the corner waiting for this match to start.

She smiled and decided to climb up to take a seat on the top turnbuckle, watching and waiting. She smiled and listened as her opponent's music started playing, then she looked to her opponent, tilting her head slightly as she observed her. Her opponent was cute, she thought with a smile. She hopped off of the turnbuckle and walked over to Mystis, extending a hand to her opponent. "The name's Ren, let's have a good match." She looked her opponent up and down with a grin.

Mystis smiled as she'd step forward to meet her opponent taking her hand giving it a good shake back. "Names Mystis, yeah let's have ourselves a very fun match." A light blush appeared on her cheeks as Ren looked her up and down with no shame. She took the time to return the favor looking her very cute opponent up and down. She'd return the grin moving to step away from Ren as the bell began to ring signaling their match was on.

Once Mystis shook her hand, she smiled and started to make her way back to her corner. The bell rang, and she moved forwards again, motioning for a test of strength in the form of a collar-and-elbow lock.

Mystis moves forward to the center of the ring and will gladly do a test of strength with a collar-and-elbow lock with Ren. She know's she isn't the strongest girl in the world but tries to surprise her opponent with a quick burst of strength and take her to the ropes.

She smiled and locked up with Mystis, though as the girl managed to push her back towards the ropes, she smiled. "So, I'm thinking, maybe after this match we go get a drink? My treat." She winked at her opponent as her back was pressed against the ropes.

It had paid off coming out strong as Mystis got her opponents back to the ropes. Though what she didn't expect was to get asked out for a drink which made her blush spread. "Alright deal." She grinned giving the girl a wink before grabbing her arms to send her in an irish whip to the other ropes. Though sh'e follow close behind the girl so as soon as she hit the ropes to come back she'd be there to deliver a spear to the gut. She hated to hurt a girl who was going to take her out to drinks afterwards but it was still a match.

She smiled at the girl and nodded, noticing the girl's blush. She was Irish whipped towards the ropes, and once she hit the ropes, she bounced off---straight into a spear. She grunted in pain and laid there on the mat, then she tried to get up on her feet.
