You need to catch up....

Cesba made a crack at Sho not being modern, pretty much everyone in Team Starmage did that. Though Akatsuki had learned to simply take it in stride, after all he still looked every bit like the handsome young man that had been thawed out the ice not long ago. But he was submitting to Cesba, there had been nothing worth not hiding. Had there been though Sho would resist to his last breath, and even perform acts of defiance while doing so.

Cesba seemingly considered this for Sho, she cranked him back a little in contemplation. But it seemed that his statement only put fuel on the fire, Sho felt his curiosity got the better of him. And the tall woman wanted to hear Akatuski's sounds, previously he'd relied on his JSDF training to resist the pain. But Sho felt that wasn't going to come in handy in this instance, wasn't much point.

Damn though Cesba was pulling on Sho here, like some piece of taffy. Sho had his body contorted in some odd ways at the hands of evil sprits, but it just hurt more when he was in the real space.

"Guugahhh.......Arghhhhh!!!...." Sho grunted out loudly in pain, his face displaying signs of agony. Thankfully though that seemed to have been what Cesba wanted, as she then set him down on the webbing laced floor. Where for the moment Sho simply lay where he was, catching his breath as he was left reeling from the spider's strength.

Cesba wanted to hear him. But...She felt bad very soon after. She let him go and immediately knelt down besides him to massage his back. "You're okay...You're okay..." Her comforting hand across his back; she felt his blitzmotor. A small gasp escapes her and her Han backs away.

The spider was about to say something. Until a loud ding sounded from the kitchen. Cesba carefully helped Sho ip to hos feet and walked into the kitchen without any words. It was only when she was out of view did she speak.

"How...Did you come to have that thing?"

Sho would say that he had taken worst things, the bite of a Giovanni vampire was much more painful in comparison for example. Though pain was something that were it placed onto Akatsuki then he was led to believe he was failing. Pain could mean being shot or other things, though now that Cesba had heard the voice of Sho she was now doing her duty as hostess. And seeing to the officer and stroking his bare back, massages were always nice. Lunar could do it was surgical precision, but Cesba had a really soft touch.

She hesitated though, and Sho had an inkling as to why. His back on the surface looked normal, but it was under it. It could feel lumpy, much different from a normal human. The blitzmotor, the source of Sho's second power. Though it seemed that dinner was ready now, Cesba helped Sho to his feet though he was fine in a few seconds. After all he was nothing if not tough.

Sho grabbed his shirt and stuck it back on, but the spider asked him something. How his body had it, she probably felt the pulsing that it gave off. It was different from his normal heart beat. Akatsuki made his way back to the kitchen, staying at the door frame. He paused, before deciding to simply tell all.

"Do you remember how I said I'm far older than I appear? It was 50 years at least, this country Japan. I served in it's self defence force when it had been founded, I was chosen for a special mission. To ensure a secret was escorted back to my homeland from overseas, I can't remember what it looked like though. I was ambushed, taken to the far frozen North. All I can remember is holding something in my hands as the ship sank, and the icy weather all around me. Then my.....other powers awoke because of it all. It....must have entered my body as I was preserved in that state. I still don't know much about it, it's fuzzy at best." Sho spoke softly, he put his left hand on the door frame and put his forehead on it. No one in Team Starmage could figure out how it happened either, and it kept Sho up at night sometimes.

Even though she just disappeared into the kitchen, Cesba came back out and already had two plated of food ready for them. She set them on a table in the room. One that was not covered in webbing either. The other arms were busily working to bring in utensils and glasses for wine. Of which came from the kitchen cabinet.

"I see..." Cesba spoke. Her eyes fixed on him as her arms frantically move about to set a nice meal for the two. "And now you come to such a shock to the system...Now you must adapt and that is what the training helped you to do. But I do not have the training? So how am I to adapt?" She out a hand on his chest before using her other to guide him to a chair.

"Eat."

Sho hadn't told anyone outside of Team Starmage his story, Carlson said it was one of the greatest to never be told. It was probably just flattery, still perhaps it was good to explain it to others. He didn't know all of what occurred on that fateful mission, other than he failed it more or less. Cesba's reaction gave Sho an impression of acknowledgement, he had his gaze on her as she worked. Having all those arms proved useful, it kinda reminded Akatsuki of Amy and how she'd use her magic to cook several dishes at once.

Though Cesba proceeded to talk about how Sho had been forced to adapt following his awakening from the thawed ice, with a world that had moved ahead of him and left him unknowingly. Sure his training had helped him come to terms with his newfound powers of his long lost bloodline and the blitzmotor that had integrated itself within him, but there was another thing that had helped him in adapting to the modern times.

"That's a question with a simple answer Cesba, one that I can provide. I will help you adapt, I had managed to do so with the guidance of Carlson-sama. And I would gladly assist, our little trip out to Tokyo today serves as proof no? You can go at the pace that suits you and I'll be there for you, if there's one thing I learned from my failed mission was that going alone is a setup for failure." Sho said with a rare smile, perhaps following Carlson's advice was proving beneficial for him.

Sho would sit and prepare to eat the dinner that his host had provided for him, but before he did so Akatsuki would put his hands in front of him in a prayer and stating "Idatakimasu. Arigato." before dinner it was something that him and the rest of Team Starmage did. Give thanks and grace in the hopes of keeping good fortune.

Cesba smiled. She liked that he was being so helpful. There was not much room for that when almost everyone's goals in the Arachniom Kingdom was to serve the queen. She retracted all of the extra arms and appeared semi-normal again before sitting down across from the officer.

He spoke something she was not familiar with be for they began to eat. Maybe it was that Japanese she heard so much of today and in this country. She flashed him a not small smile before they both began to eat.

When Sho had failed his mission over 50 years ago the JSDF had wiped him from the records and he had never existed, needless to say he hadn't taken the revelation very well. Had Carlson not located him among the ice Sho probably wouldn't have known what to do, though even with his former homeland disowning him the seemingly young man found that Team Starmage was the place for him. In Cesba's Kingdom everyone had to serve the Queen, with Carlson's merry supernatural black ops group it was a case of help everyone before yourself. Something that perhaps helped support Sho in that time when the country he fought and would have died for ended up forgetting him.

It certainly helped with his English, sure he could speak back then in that mission. But it had been according to Carlson akin to the noise a frog that was trying to sing in the opera, Lunar's nature as a robot helped him learn it and get up to speed. Still though Japanese sounded natural to him at the end. Now that grace had been said it was time to eat, giving a little cough Akatsuki would proceed to eat.

After a minute Sho would give a smirk and say "Nicely made Cesba-chan, I am grateful to try food made by someone else outside of my team. They can have....variable levels of skill when it comes to that let me tell you." a chuckle was made at his own comment.

Cesba had only been out of her kingdom, or its former remains, for a short amount of time. She had not gotten to really experience the world. Though Sho had shown her a good starting slice of it. The spider did miss her home and her job...And her Queen. But she was saved for some reason and got to keep whatever part of her race alive by harboring this egg. And what else could a chef do to thank? Well...Cook!

She gives him a bow before beginning to eat her own food. "I thank you. And it would not be the most fun thing if everyone cooked the same. There would not be too many happy people." She tilts her head to the side and smirks. "But...Tell me about them and their tastes..."

It seemed Cesba was interested in how the other members of Team Starmage cooked and what they liked, one thing about the group was that it was certainly multinational. The best of the best! With the great day the pair had Sho could certainly indulge the tall woman, after all the time he had with his group Akatuski had come to know their tastes.

"Well I usually make ramen, it's the only thing I can really do well as it's something of my homeland. Chon, the blind guy that you met can actually do pretty good with Chinese food even without sight better than his Sister Huanle. Lunar can be.....good, though she doesn't need to eat really because she doesn't require it. Light can't cook and he prefers to eat things raw because he can survive it." Sho said, the magical weapon had done that from when he escaped his test facility. Killed a bear with his fists and then started munching on it.

"As for the rest of my team, Jenny, Amy and Carlson-sama all do British food. Jenny's the best though out the lot of us, cooking wasn't part of my training sadly." Akatsuki said with a little chuckle, least that was as far as he knew.

Sho eat quietly for a minute before having a thoughtful expression on his face and said "Now that I think on it you don't really know much about my team, they're good people though. Carlson-sama was there right after I thawed from the ice, wrapped a towel around me and welcomed me back to the world." and not to mention filling Sho in on what he missed over the decades.

Cesba listened with smile for a bit. Until he got to the part about her bot knowing his team well. She didnt. But the Arachniom didnt really want to know them. They destroyed her home. And even if she did play her part in it, it was only to get out of there alive.

She shifts around a bit uncomfortably and looks down. "I do not wish to know them. Well...Maybe not immediately. But...They seem very dangerous. Almost a wonder how they are not criminal, but are good." She takes a pause. "But they seem to be nice. Otherwise, you would not be with them yes?"
