Trying to catch up

Ever since her win and the resulting aftermath at Avalanche Adrian had seemingly turned over a new leaf when it came to her own training and mentality. She had won her match at the PPV but she had lost a match before hand, under her alter ego Bullet Ant she had lost one on one for the first time in the company. With a guaranteed title match against Taylor, she needed to make sure that she was at her best all the time.

No more slacking off working out, today she was going to train until she collapsed! Without any particular costume on, just a tank top and gym shorts she set herself to work in her apartment building's private gym. For friends of the Northman family only.

Unfortunately a few hours into her new and improved routine she found out just what it meant to do that.

"Ugh..." She groaned from down on the floor, she didn't feel like she had pushed herself that far, just a heck of lot of stretches and tumbles to start, followed by about a hundred sit ups and push ups that seemed to take forever, next was working the speed bag which is where she started to feel how much her arms were hurting her. She knew she wasn't very strong... at all... that quite a few Kawaii's could probably over power her so the pain was could wasn't it? "No pain, no gain" was the expression after all, if she didn't work herself this hard all the time how was she supposed to get any better. Besides: Rebecca and Cecilia, her girlfriend and best friend respectively could probably do all this easily. There was no excuse for her not being able to do it too. But maybe after a couple of minutes she had done enough work on her arms for now and started up the treadmill. Starting off slow before breaking up to sprint speed.

Which was her mistake. After what felt like a few minutes her legs started to go soft, feeling herself slipping she tried to get back and push herself even further to stay on, but it was not to be. She lost her footing and was shot off the treadmill and onto the floor, where she remained weakly groaning, every bit of her aching and unable to move.

Cecilia Northman was heading down to the gym to start out a work out of her own, she had to keep her body in shape and make sure not to slack off at all, she just had to try and get better and keep going right, that was what she had to do to try and stay the best, well...officially she wasn't the best, but if she wanted that to be official she would have to keep up her workouts and trainings, she was only a few days away from her planned event, where she would go and try to get a challenge at the Hardcore title belt.

When she reached to bottom floor, of the elevator, that was playing some music for the Swede, one of the best things ever was to have music in the elevator it seemed, and better yet to have a good playlist that she could just choose what ever song she wanted, today she had picked, [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIKKi2qtP1s&feature=related:38gei3xm]Hammerfall - Blood bound[/url:38gei3xm] and she was enjoying it quite a bit, but finally she did reach the gym floor, the big area was quite a sight, and whenever Cecilia went down her she just felt good, it was a very good gym and she enjoyed it quite a bit.

Cecilia looked around a little before she began to head to the treadmills, when she got closer she noticed that there was someone of the floor, laying down like she did, it was Adrian, " Addy ! what you doing on the floor !?" Cecilia called out to her friends as she began to run over to her friend, wondering if she might have gotten hurt or something cause there was a treadmill that was still on and was going on quite a high speed as well, " are you okay Addy?" Cecilia asked as she came in closer and got down on her knees next to her friend.

"Cec?" Adrian said weakly, looking up at the Blonde towering over her, still hearing the whiring of the treadmill near her. "H-hey..." the cosplayer said, trying to pass it off as though her situation wasn't that important. "Sorry...I might have gotten all your stuff kinda sweaty." She admitted, trying to get up and failing. "I'm not bleeding am I?"

Cecilia looked down at Adrian as she heard what the little cosplayer was telling her and well...she couldn't help but let out a little laugh, " that's okay Addy, I guess I will have to hire a cleaner..maybe a maid..think one of Lukky's maids wouldn't want to have a job here ?" Cecilia said with a little laugh, as she then heard what Adrian said as she tired to get up, " Ehm...doesn't look like it " Cecilia said with a little smile as she looked the girl over.

Cecilia would move in to try and help Adrian moved up to her feet, " so what's with her training ? .." Cecilia would say as she tried to help Adrian up.

Adrian frowned when Cecilia suggested bringing in the maids to help clean up the place "Can't you hire people less likely to rape me?" she asked from her prone position.

When the Swede tried to lift her up everything started to feel like it was burning, her face contorted into a painful grimace as she tried to hold out, she didn't even know if she had enough energy to scream out in pain but she wasn't about to, not with Cecilia there. She wasn't going to disappoint her "N...need to train. Gotta do more, get much better if I... if I want a shot." She breathed out, trying to spend most of her effort on standing still, without having to lean on Cecilia for support. "Thought I... thought I'd start today. New training schedule, way behind it now... still have to do weights if I'm gonna get stronger." the cosplayer wheezed, one hand on the queen of the north as she managed to stay still.

Cecilia let out a laugh at Adrian comment and followed it up with a joke of her own, " What in this place ?...that's gonna be tricky" Cecilia said with a bit of a grin on her face.

She then noticed Adrian face as she helped her up, it was clear to her that Adrian was in pain and that she was really over working herself quite a bit, The Queen of the North looked on with Concern at the girl and had to admit that Adrian might be trying to take her talks about doing all to get stronger and be the best you can be a little bit to hard, she listened to what her friend had to say before moving back a little to flick the girls forehead, " Come on Adrian! don't over work yourself...that's not the way to do it" Cecilia said as she would look on at Adrian still with that look of concern for her friend.

Adrian chose to ignore Cecilia's joke and stagger over to the bench press, her legs were still shaking from her work on the treadmill but she didn't need those for weightlifting. Or did she? She couldn't remember at this point. "Not overdoing it..." She mumbled as she tried to get herself laying down on the bench "...why... why isn't it the way?" the cosplayer asked "I should be trying my hardest right? I mean, if I don't I've got like no hope 'cause everyone who's better than me is probably train their ass off too. So whatever they're doing, I've got to do at least double that. No breaks." she said with a sense of determination. She wasn't going to allow anyone to mock her for not deserving to be a wrestler, she was going to train harder than anyone, she was going to improve faster than anyone, and she wasn't going to stop.

Trying to push aside how much her arms were hurting she grabbed the weight above her, pushing it off the hook before letting it gently fall down, trying to rest it on her chest. "Nnnngggh!" Adrian grunted as she tried to push the weight back up, slowly but surely getting the weight back up "See... I can handle..." the cosplayer started to say before her arms just decided enough was enough and gave out on her,the weight falling forward and crashing down on her stomach "Hurk!" she choked as she was pinned under the weight.

Cecilia looked on at Adrian with concern as she watched how hard she was trying, it was admirable if not stupid as well, and it was just the kinda thing Adrian would do, always thinking that she is worse than others, and Cecilia hated it, she didn't like it one bit and it was the most common thing that made her want to hit Adrian, she would still be there and try and help her, if she wanted to train all she had to do was to make sure that she didn't over work herself, cause that never works, she will just tire herself out and then she won't be able to work out for a long while after this over work out.

As Adrian moved over to to weights, Cecilia moved in to stop her, but when she began to lift it up she stopped herself, she looked on and didn't know if she should smile or but on a solemn face, she didn't know, but she knew what to do when Adrian kinda dropped the weight, and it fell down on her chest, Cecilia ran up to Adrian and grabbed a hold of the weight and began to pull it up to try and put it on the hinges and then looked down at Adrian, " Will you just stop! no one over works themselves during training! you know why! cause that means you can't train for a long ass while, you push yourself little by little every day! no more than that ! " Cecilia said as she looked down at Adrian, she dropped down to her knees so she wouldn't be towering over Adrian's head as she did, but would only be a bit above her.

She would flick her forehead again, this time quite hard, " Don't be an idiot okay! I don't want you to try and kill yourself, you think that everybody trains harder then you, then ask me man Becks to help you train! you got friends for a reason"

Adrian groaned weakly as Cecilia managed to shift the weight off her, hooking it up above her as her hands slowly went over to the red mark left where the bar dropped on her, looking up at Cecilia with slightly teary eyes "...can't even get training right..." she mumbled under her breath before Cecilia flicked her forehead "Oww..."

"Well..." She started to say "...could you help me?" She asked as nicely as possible "I know I'm always needing your help but... I know Taylor's probably on this super training kick thing that means she mocks anyone who doesn't spend every freaking second training, that's kind of what I'm up against. I couldn't beat her last time, but...I'm trying to get better. I'm trying to get to a point where I can actually hold my own against someone like her, like you. I don't want to be dead weight for our team..." She rambled on "I...I kinda forgot what I was saying..." the cosplayer admitted "...but I've got to keep pushing myself to beat her. I can't really afford to stop."

Cecilia looked on at Adrian as she helped the girl, she didn't like it that she wanted to over work herself still, but she seemed to have gotten through to her if not a little, it seemed that they always had the same talk, and most of the time it was Cecilia trying to reassure Adrian that she didn't suck, it seemed that she wouldn't start believing in herself before she managed to beat Taylor, so she just had to give her a little nod and agree that she would help her with her training, " Of course! I will always help you when you need me " Cecilia said with a smile to Adrian.

Cecilia didn't know if Taylor would be doing any kind of super training and maybe she wouldn't, she didn't know if she would or wouldn't be the kind to do that, but Taylor was just an obstacle to Adrian, and Cecilia hadn't really talk or knew much of what Taylor did or say to have much of an opinion of her, she just didn't care to much about the girl personally, but she knew that Adrian didn't like her, and as a good friend she was supportive of Adrian, although sometime she would have to take a good long talk with Adrian about what all this was about.

" So...I think you need to rest a little, how about we talk a little ?"
