Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Attack is the best defense they say and that was the case here as well. Joe's ankle probably won't be fine untill tommorow or aftertommorow, but at least he's getting some time. He's still feeling slight pain, but can steping normally already. Break definitely worked well for him and on top of that, it was Shido who will be soon traped in corner. Seeing they're approaching the corner, Joe stoped caring wheter his hits land or not. He was just swinging and applying the preasure to force his opponent backward.
Joe would push Shido in corner once they almost reached him. With him leaning back on turnbuckles, Joe would climb up and stood on bottom rope, completly traping Shido. He would also gain some height advantage standing on ropes and would use that to start throwing punches down toward opponents face.

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Shido wasn't sure if Joe was running on sheer adrenaline or if he was just that good at ignoring pain, but there was no time to ponder this! Joe's punching would come in flurries. Some would graze him and he would dodge other but one did connect with him every now and then. Soon Shido would find himself brushing up against something. "Hm?! T...the rope?! The corner?!"
Shido normally had better in ring awareness than this, but it would seem that Joe's hay-makers were scary enough to occupy his spatial awareness for a bit. Joe would set up in the corner and start to rain down more harsh punches on Shido! The fanboy would raise his forearms and mitigate some of the damage by blocking, but it would become overbearing if he didn't take action!
As quickly as he could, in the midst of these punches, he would grab Joe by the thighs, since his legs were spread out from standing on the bottom ropes in the corner. And he would dash forward, attempting the carry fellow lightweight and drive him into the mat for a vicious Spine Buster!
If this worked out, and Joe was stunned the way Shido was hoping, he'd talk to him while they were both on the mat. "You ever play Streetfighter or Smash bros or something....and go up against a player that only used one move....?

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Joe's fury of attacks forced Shido in corner and he imidately used the opportunity to rain down some more punches. He was so focused on attacks, that he completly forgot about possible consequences for such an action. He just wanted to wear him down a little and since he wasn't the biggest and strongest wrestler out there he became little reckless when seeing opportunity to get higher and add some more impact and strength to his punches.
But he payed for rushing too much with fight and not thinking enough. After feeling arms around his thighs, Joe tried to jump off, but it was already a little too late. Shido carried him without much problems and end up with harsh slam down on the canvas. Joe grunted loudly and put hand on his back to rub it and ease the pain a little.
Joe looked him up and shook his head. I didnt.. He said and start slowly rolling away. He was little curious what Shido wanted to say, but getting back up was more important at the moment.

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Shido would prop himself up quickly and move in to grab Joe's leg! He knew that Joe would take more risks and put him on the defensive if he just let Joe control the pace of the match.
"Sorry, Joe. I'll be needing this!" Shido would say to him as he grabbed hold of Joe's leg, making sure it was the same leg he had done damage to before! He would quickly wrap his arms around his foot and heel for an ankle lock!

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Not paying too much attention to his surroundings, Joe began moving away. But he didn't come too far away, since Shido was fast enough to catch his leg. And just when his ankle got bit better, his opponent went for ankle lock again. And this time he was even further away from ropes then last time. Not only that Shido moved away from the corner with his spine buster, Joe was retreating toward the center as well. He should have know better to stay close to the ropes, but mistakes comes quickly in heat of a battle - especially to unexpereinced wrestlers.
Being further away from ropes than last time, Joe won't try to move both wreslters closer to them again. He should get away faster if he still want to stand on his feet today. Lucky for him, Shido was occupied with his ankle and leaving Joe's other leg completly free. "Let me go!" Joe shouted to Shido while groaning because of pain and began kicking his head with free leg.

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
"Ow! You could say please, you know? haha" Shido would react as he received a few painful kicks! He wasn't too keen on taking a few free hits, but he had planned his counterattack. There was plenty of distance between them and the ropes as it was, and he knew he had to be making progress on subduing Joe's ankle! Shido would try wrap his ankles around the leg he had the ankle lock on, hopefully redirecting Joe's kicks and safeguarding his own head! Should this work, it should also make it much harder for Joe to escape to the ropes as well, as it would force Joe to drag Shido's body weight along with his own to get there!

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Joe felt how his feet landed on Shido's head several times. He probably felt the kicks, but was concentrated enough to turn around his body. Joe was getting bit frustrated, since not only that Shido's head was protected now, he also traped leg with his own. Pain in ankle was getting bigger and Joe looked toward the ropes to estimate the situation. He could try draging them toward them, but it was obvious that it's too far - he would most likely had to tap out on the way there.
He tried with one more kick after Shido re-aligned his body, but it did way too little damage, so Joe gived up this plan pretty fast. At least Shido was still occupied only with his leg, so rest of the Joe's body was free. He turned a little and sit down in order to get Shido in his reach again. He would lean toward opponents head and try to wrap one arm around the neck for headlock. Usually, he wouldn't do much more than headlock, but times were bit desperate, so Joe used his other arm to land some punches on Shido's face as well.

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Shido would continue trying to contort Joe's ankle, intent on either debilitating him for the rest of the match, or getting him to submit! He would feel Joe roll them both over while he maintained the hold and he wouldn't contest that, after all, he could keep doing damage for as long as he held onto Joe's ankle.
But Joe would quickly wrap Shido's head up within his arm and begin punching him square in the face! Ow! Dude, that's my face, I kinda need that!" Shido would protest as Joe began to wail on him yet again! Shido take two or three of these punches before giving Joe's ankle one last harsh twist and letting go, trying to roll backwards and create some distance!

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Joe was really glad that he managed to get rid of Shido. It was bit costly, since his ankle hurts like hell, but at least he's still in fight. Joe groaned a little when Shido finished with one last ankle twist and sighed from relief when his leg was finally free. He was still in inferior position and he had to get some more time, so his ankle will get some rest.
While Shido released his leg, Joe didn't want to end things straight away. First thing he did was turning around his body, so legs were away from Shido, but his upper body remained close to the opponent. When Shido tried to roll away, Joe stoped punching his face and use arm to support the headlock. "Oh no! You won't get away so easy!" Joe said to him when using both arms for headlock.

Re: Joe Arlin vs. Shido "The fanboy"
Shido had almost managed to slip away. He had already started planning follow up attacks and had thought to go after the same leg, yet again. But he would soon be brought to the realization that Joe wasn't going to go down so easily!
Shido's voice would be muffled, stifling his surprised reaction when he found himself wrapping up in Joe's headlock, pressed up against his side! There weren't too many places to go from here, but it'd not like staying in one spot was going to be a smart option. After a moment's consideration, Shido would place one foot firmly on the ground and begin to work his way up to his feet, hopefully coaxing Joe into getting up and staying close to him in order to keep the headlock applied!
