Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Violet Clarkson

Gabbie only grunted as she was kicked onto her stomach. She was just starting to push herself up when Vi snatched her arm and stuffed it between her legs. That left her vulnerable as Vi's weight pressed on top of her and mashed her against the canvas in the awkward position that suddenly turned painful.

"Hnnnghhh!?"

Gabbie's teeth flashed and she shut her eyes as the crossface was locked int. Her arm and neck bent painfully as she reached up with her free hand and tried to shove Vi's hands up and over her head so she could try and regroup. All the while, her legs began pumping, trying to inch the two girls closer towards the ropes as she snorted through her nose.

Vi tried her best to keep the pressure on. She pulled and pulled but without much leverage Gabbie was inching them closer and closer to the ropes. Unwilling to relent, Vi simply abandoned her efforts to holding the girl down to wrench back more. With another push, the Canadian managed to reach the ropes, and without a second of delay the Brit released her.

But she had no intention of stopping.

Vi grabbed the ropes to help her stand up. She put a foot in the small of Gabbie's back, bent down, and grabbed each of the girl's arms. She then pulled up in a surfboard stretch. As she did so, she grit her teeth clearly in pain from her knee. Thankfully Gabbie was in no position to see her struggling.

Gabbie grabbed the rope as tightly as she could and shook it hard, as though it was the only way to get the referee to see and call break. Thankfully, Vi didn't seem to want to hold the submission for the full count, but before she could even start pulling up, she felt Vi's weight once again hold her down.

"Hnnn...."

She grunted softly and felt like she could still push up until her arms were grabbed and yanked back painfully. "Yaaaaahhhh!"

Gabbie shrieked this time as her arms were bent. She struggled and kicked the mat, trying to tug her arms free or roll Vi off her or... anything.

As much pain as Vi was in, it seemed like Gabbie was in more. Reveling in the idea that her mutually destructive strategy was working, the Brit yanked hard...only for one of the Canadian's arms to escape. Vi stumbled backwards off balance, falling to her back. Although slightly disorientated, she wasn't staggered. Gabbie's ankle was right next to her, and she decided it was her next target.

Vi grabbed it, pulling herself up to her knees, and yanked Gabbie a few feet away from the ropes before twisting it awkwardly with both hands. She then balanced herself and rose to her feet, making sure to keep the pressure on the Canadian. "What's the matter, EY?"

Gabbie wasn't sure if she had bucked Vi off or what, but she was glad when her arms were let go of. She curled them up against her and breathed softly. They hurt, but she couldn't let herself get distracted by the pain and she quickly reached out for the rope to try and pull herself up when her foot was grabbed and she was forcefully yanked into the center of the ring.

"Haaaaahhh!"

Gabbie screamed when her ankle was twisted and she shook her head and slammed her fists into the mat. Her face went read but she pushed up with her hands and curled her free leg under her body, trying to push up so she was on knee and both hands while the Brit awkwardly twisted her ankle.

Vi continued to twist on the woman's ankle, determined to do as much damage as possible. Even without the best footing, and even not being an expert of submissions the Brit could see the Canadian struggling with the hold. Now she was in complete control, and she was enjoying it more than she should have been.

Gabbie pulled herself up to a knee, and the Brit could feel her leverage slipping from the change. She stood straight up, lifting the ankle as high as she could manage while still twisting it. She felt herself grin, her teeth still gritting from the pain in her knee. "What's the matter Gabs? Not so chatty cathy now are you?"

Gabbie hissed through her teeth as sweat dripped off of her forehead. Her cheeks burned red from the strain of having to endure the pain and strain of the ankle lock. She could hear the crowd cheering as she slowly pushed up, like she was doing a push up. She wedged her leg under neath her and then with a loud roar, pushed up to her feet.

"Rrrrrrrrrrgggh!"

Gabbie pivoted on her free foot to face Vi, hoping just a bit to maintain her balance before she met eyes with the cocky Brit. She didn't need to say anything. Gabbie only needed to make eye contact and then Vi would realize too late that she had just been checked and mated.

Gabbie swung her free foot up and aimed the hardest kick she could muster right at Vi's jaw, a stinging enzuigiri that she called the Scarborough Bluff.

The crowd seemed to be rallying behind the struggling Canadian and Vi didn't know why. Not that she really cared. She had her on the ropes, and if she kept up the pressure Gabbie would stand no chance. This was a wrestling match after all, and if she couldn't wrestle than she didn't belong here.

Gabbie found the strength to balance herself up and twist just enough to look at Vi. She glared back, unaware of the girl's special talent. She knew she was a kick boxer.

But she never saw the kick coming.

It struck her jaw like a truck, instantly making her release Gabbie's ankle. Her legs crumbled beneath her, and she ragdolled into a pile to her right opposite of where the kick came from.

Gabbie rolled onto her hands and knees. Her ankle throbbed in pain, but the adrenaline from the kick and the fact that she didn't have to stand up again made it easier to push away the pain.

Gabbie then shoved Vi so she was on her back and crawled on top of her. She hooked Vi's leg tightly and rolled the Brit up as the referee slid into position.

"ONE!"

The Brit seemed almost completely out as Gabbie rolled her out for the pin. Her head flopped back, her eyes struggling to focus.

"Two!"

All she could focus on were the lights above head. She didn't know what had happened, and didn't realize she was being pinned. Not that knowing would've made any difference.
