Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Violet Clarkson

"Tch." Gabbie scowled at Vi as she hopped up and brought her fists up to a guard position. "Cheap? Don't come at someone expecting them to do what you want. It's your fault for assuming I wouldn't kick you." Gabbie said, ignoring the comment about her outfit. She finally wore something wrestler-y and this blonde was cracking on her?

Still, when Vi put up a similar guard, Gabbie's eyes lit up. Serious or not, it looked like the girl wanted to box and that made Gabbie's heart pound with excitement. She bounced lightly, watching Vi careful and when she saw the kick come at her, Gabbie hopped backwards to avoid the kick and then rushed forward, feinting a kick and then aiming a one-two combination at Vi's face to try and get close to her and inside her guard.

Vi practically smirked when her opponent resumed her stance. Good. She knew she could play that game better than her. Her kick wasn't powerful, so the miss didn't throw her off balance. But the speed which Gabbie countered with caught her off guard. One blow struck her jaw, the other just glancing it. Lucky shots.

Without showing real pain, Vi pursued the attack, throwing light retaliatory left and right jabs before charging forward with her own knee aimed towards the abdomen. The blows from her opponent hurt, no doubt, but she wasn't about to let Gabbie know that.

Gabbie was close as Vi didn't back off from the punches. It was nice to see that Vi seemed to be pretty tough, but it also meant that Gabbie could keep swarming her. Gabbie dipped past one jab and batted the other one away, preparing to set up another knee when Vi's jammed up into her abdomen.

"Nnngh!"

Gabbie grunted as she bent forward but she didn't move away from Vi and in fact threw her arms around Vi's neck to hold her in place in a traditional Muay Thai clinch. Gabbie had been kickboxing her whole life, but her professional career had been in Muay Thai. She never felt at home as Vi and her were now very, very close.

Gabbie threw a knee up into Vi's stomach, paying her back for the knee she just gave her. "So, you kickbox?" Gabbie said after she threw her knee.

Vi's confidence was shortlived as Gabbie followed up knee with yet another knee of her own.  This time she struggled to hide the pain.  She wasn't worn down, but it took a lot of composure to not show pain from sharp blows like they were exchanging.  Still, she wasn't discouraged.

"Love, if this were a kickboxing match you'd have already lost."  Vi pulled back just far enough to wind up an elbow shot aimed high at Gabbie's head.

Gabbie watched as Vi tore herself away from the clinch and winged an elbow at the Canadian's face. Her eyes widened and she ducked her head enough to let the elbow crash into the top of her head, mitigating the trajectory of the strike. She huffed and grunted, pulling her gloves up to protect herself but she didn't back up. She planted her foot and launched herself again with another driving knee aimed at Vi's gut.

Gabbie was appalled by the unmitigated gall of Vi's egotism but as much as she wanted to say something, she would much rather let her hands and feet do the talking.

Vi instinctively pulled her arms back in defensively after her elbow partially struck Gabbie in the top of the head. She was hoping for a better hit, but she would take what she could get. She managed to take the brunt of the third knee shot with the side of her arm, but it still stung bitterly. At the very least, though, she was able to follow it up instead of just standing there in pain.

The blonde wrapped her arms around Gabbie, trying to force them both together too close for her to get any room to strike. Then, she leveraged up to try and push her opponent back into a corner.

Gabbie had hoped that another brutal knee would back Vi away, but the blonde Brit was proving to be a little more difficult than Gabbie had expected. As she was pulling her knee back, she felt Vi's arms wrap around her and pull her into a rather tight hug. Gabbie grunted and her cheeks flushed as her bodies pressed together.

"Tch! G-Get off me, pervert!" Gabbie growled, assuming the hug was for something sexual. Though she couldn't throw a strike, she flailed mightily with her legs, trying to keep from being walked to the corner while she tried her best to jam her fists into the side of Vi's head.

The pig-tailed blonde closed her eyes and took the light blows that rained on her head. It was never easy to take headshots but at least Gabbie didn't have any swing behind them from her position.

Vi also ignored what she perceived as a lightly veiled insult. She wasn't one of those other sluts in Friction who took every touch with a flushed moan. Though she imagined Gabbie was. She pushed her against the ropes, slingshoting her the other way. And she wasn't going to wait for her to come back. She pursued right after the other blonde, hoping to drive her knee into Gabbie's gut just as the other ropes ricochet her back. "You like knees, how about this one?" she taunted as she did so.

Gabbie was forced into the ropes long enough to be shot off them and sent flying to the other side. If there was one thing she knew how to do from her new dojo training, it was run ropes. She ran ropes in her nightmares. She HATED ropes but still, it was the simplest thing but probably the thing she appreciated the most of anything.

When she raced towards the other side of the ring, she turned around and bounced back first into and off them like she had been doing it for years.

Unfortunately, as she turned, Vi's knee drove right into her stomach. "Ouuuuughhh!" She practically coughed out her tongue. Her eyes bulged and she dropped to the canvas, right in front of Vi's looming form, clutching her stomach and trying to choke the breath back into her lungs.

As Gabbie crumbled to the ground, Vi took only a second to appreciate the movie before grabbing her at the back of the neck to haul her up to her knees. Vi then proceeded to drag Gabbie across the mat and to the corner. She then threw her back first into the bottom turnbuckle.

"So...how do you like my knee daft one?" she asked as she pressed her right knee into Gabbie's neck and chest, pulling herself in with the ropes.
