Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Adele

Gabbie bounced on her heels as her robe flittered around her. She was ready and eager for her next bout and she had gotten word of her opponent and was even more excited. The girl was a kickboxer like her. Supposedly. Gabbie had looked into her "career" and found that she had two matches in AFW and neither of them were proper matches. One was a disgusting hentai kickboxing match that Gabbie couldn't even stomach to watch. No doubt her sister would love it, but it made Gabbie want to barf. The other was against some ridiculously huge woman that Gabbie thought had no business in a boxing ring. Other than that, the girl had a few miserable wrestling matches and that was that. Gabbie could find no other record of any professional fighting  from the girl.

'She's a wannabe.' Gabbie thought. She was mocking Gabbie's whole life and she couldn't wait to kick the girl's head off.

As her music started up, Gabbie appeared out from the entrance ramp and raised her fists in the air. She had on pink MMA gloves and a white sports bra with multi colored polka dots, trimmed in pink. Her bright pink boyshorts completed the girlish ensemble, a start contrast to Gabbie's tomboyish nature. Her messy blonde hair had barrettes all in it and a head scarf tying it up as best as she could. She had also shrouded herself in a white robe trimmed in blue  with a blue maple leaf emblazoned on the back and "DESJARDIN" embroidered above it.

She shadowboxed down the ramp and then slipped into the ring. She shadowboxed a bit more, discarded her robe and handed it to the referee before she bowed to each side of the ring in the traditional Muay That way. She then backed into her corner and stretched. She was full of energy and eager.

It had been awhile since Adele had had a match and tonight Adele was super excited. Adele had looked up her opponent and she was another kickboxer like Adele. However Adele was slightly out of practice as it was tough to find an opponent to suit her fighting style but that didn't mean Adele never stopped training. After Gabbie's entrance Adele made an entrance of her own.

Adele walked down to the ring with a smile on her face before slipping beneath the ropes. Adele would quickly stand up and punch the air before looking at her opponent. "Nice to meet you. I am Adele. Let's have a great match." Adele as she was excited to finally be able to kickbox again.

Gabbie's blue eyes were piercing as her gaze never left Adele's the whole time she came down the ramp. Her fists remained clenched and she could feel her body tensing and relaxing as she prepared for the upcoming bout.

When Adele made her introduction, Gabbie hissed. It was hard to contain herself but she took a single step forward. "I saw what you did here." She said simply. "What you called kickboxing. It's disgraceful. Whoever you are, the only thing I'm glad about is that you haven't disgraced my sport by taking on professional bouts." Gabbie shrugged. "Just be thankful you're fighting me in a wrestling ring. Maybe you'll last a little longer."

Gabbie took a deep breath and squared her shoulders. She brought her hands up and loosened her body while she waited for the bell.

Adele was taken back by Gabbie's response to her hello. Of course, Adele soon felt extremely insulted by Gabbie and Adele clenched her fists in anger. "So, you think i like what i have done here. Kickboxing is a glorious sport but sadly it doesn't help to much in the wrestling ring." Adele said as she dropped into a fighting stance. "Even if this were a kickboxing ring i am pretty sure the fight would end the same, With you flat on you back and me with my hand raised in victory." Adele said as she instantly didn't like Gabbie.

Gabbie's eyes widened at Adele's words. It was one thing to be cocky and confident. Gabbie was definitely both, but she could back it up. For Adele, who lacked any sort of professional experience to make such a claim against Gabbie, who was a professional boxer. She could leave AFW right now and dominate her weight class in any circuit.

She clutched her fists tightly and stared down Adele. She was suddenly in fight mode. She had gone from having a condescending opinion of Adele and her abilities to wanting to show her how well kickboxing would help her in the ring.

When the bell finally rang, Gabbie hopped forward and put up her hands as her eyes focused on Adele. When she was close, she zipped a hard kick at the girl's thigh to try and put her off balance and show her just how much power she had in her legs.

Adele knew she had to be careful in this match as even though Adele had trained to kickbox much of her life she had never really had an official match before. As Gabbie made her move Adele would quickly hop backwards as Gabbie's legs barely brushed against her thigh. "Missed me." Adele would say before springing forward with a straight punch aimed right at Gabbie's face.

Gabbie steeled herself as her kick missed and Adele took a moment to acknowledge it. Gabbie remained stoic and as the fist came at her face. Though she didn't have gloves to properly block the punch, she tilted her her and let it breeze past her.

Gabbie, however, wasn't going to take her time in pointing out the obvious and instead of calling out the miss, her body was already pivoting to try and drive a hard knee strike into the side of Adele's ribs.

Adele gasped as her fist missed Gabbie's face and a grunt of pain escaped Adele's lips as Gabbie's knee sunk into her ribs. Adele clenched her teeth to fight through the pain before throwing an elbow at Gabbie's head trying to strike the area one more time hoping that this time it would prove to be more helpful that her first strike.

An elbow was much easier to block without gloves and while she wasn't used to elbows being through like that, her keen senses had her well prepared. She lifted up her hands and caught the elbow with both her hands, letting the back of her palms press against her face before she shoved as hard as she could, trying to put Adele off balance so she could pivot on her foot and aim a high kick at the German's head.

As long as Gabbie was upright, she wasn't going to let Adele do anything but get her ass kicked.

Adele stumbled sideways as Gabbie pushed her away and just as Adele righted herself Gabbie's foot connected with her head. Adele fell to the mat immedaitly holding her head in pain. However, Adele wasn't going to just lay there and let Gabbie gloat over her as Adele would kick her leg out to try and sweep Gabbie off of her feet before Gabbie made another move.
