Adrian waved the cursing River goodbye as she crawled over to the metal shutter door, running her hands along the side, trying to find a control panel of some description to pick herself up, and lo and behold: she found one, apparently in a box deliberately left open by the feel of things, running her hands over the hinges before she pulled herself up and brushed a clump of bloodstained hair out of her face, and smashed the big green button that was above the big red button.

The shutters roared into life as the brightness of the floodlights slowly crept up to meet Adrian, along with a blast of cold air as the Mongolian Winter made itself known. Cold, busted, but victorious, the hardcore champion staggered away out of the arena, into the waiting arms of the paramedics. "Laaaaters..." She called out, collapsing onto a stretcher to be wheeled away while more went back for River. This was a match that was going to lead to a lot of scars for the brunette, but she'd survived the war with the Bald Brawler and sent a message for anyone who wanted the Hardcore Title. If you wanted to beat Adrian Kytes, you'd have to go through hell and back to do it.
