Clyde Gastin Vs. Abbey Abraxas

Clyde groaned against the mat. His wrecked body feeling frustration from his lack luster performance. Abbey was highly skilled and making short work of him. Her size had definitely aided in keeping Clyde down, everything on her was big. It was the reason why he was on the mat gasping for air.

But his blood was boiling and he was yelling at himself to keep fighting. And when Abbey hooked her arms around his head and leg, the cowboy felt her hands lock, he expected to be crushed by Abbey and he didn't have the patience to wait for that.

He grit his teeth as he glared at Abbey, raising his free hand, trying lash out his fist and catch Abbey right across the jaw, a desperate and much needed hook.

"Hn!"

"Gaaah!"

Abbey was too busy trying to secure the hold to think that Clyde could punch her. It was ALWAYS a possibility, but she figured once the hold was locked on, he wouldn't be able to retaliate very well.

Abbey's grip loosened and she rolled away, clutching her jaw with one hand. "Dammit." She growled and tried to push up, watching Clyde as she got to one knee. She pushed up and tried to aim a kick at Clyde's ribs. Even if her jaw ached, she knew she had to keep pressure on the Texan.

Clyde was released and he gasped in surprise. Fear had crept over him, but now he was loose and it meant he still had a leg in the fight! Abbey was dangerous, another slip up and he'd be tapping out. He staggered up after Abbey with wobbly legs at first, finally adjusting, he'd see the big blonde throw a kick right for his ribs. Clyde braced for impact with his arms at his sides

"NGH!" The kick buried into Clyde's ribs, he stumbled instantly to the side as his arms quickly hugged Abbey's leg against his side, clutching her leg as tightly as he could while he glared daggers at her. "Heh!" He huffed through his gritted teeth as he stepped over Abbey's extended leg before he jumped and twisted in mid air, extending his leg to bash his heel against Abbey's head with Step Over Wheel Kick.

Abbey was pleased she kicked Clyde until he caught her leg. She frowned, but really she knew what to do, even if she was struggling to hop on one foot. However, the wily Texan was a bit quicker on the draw and his kick caught her flushed in the head, sending her toppling to the mat in a daze.

The crowd gasped as the kick smacked her in the head, but soon the cheers began to echo in the arena.

Clyde flopped beside Abbey after nailing the desperate wheel kick, landing sprawled out with his legs draped over hers, panting heavily while looking up at the lights before he began to pick himself back up, feeling he had to work Abbey over a little more for a pinfall.

"...Do I get to request another smother?" He mused. Truthfully, he didn't want any submission hold!

He hobbled over to Abbey's legs and grabbed her ankles, tucking her legs under his arms. Looking down at Abbey, he'd wink down at her before falling back, trying to catapult Abbey chest first into the waiting turnbuckle with a slingshot!

Abbey was a little slower to get up than Clyde, but she still heard him talk. "Yeah... I'll put it on the list..." She muttered dryly, as she started to get back up, only to have her ankles yanked out from underneath her. A few moment's later, she was sailing through the air and crashed chest first into the turnbuckle, sputtering and stumbling backwards, holding her aching chest. That wasn't very pleasant at all.

"Don't bother!" Clyde declared before launching Abbey into the corner! He quickly turned over on his stomach to see Abbey crash in the corner, he smirked and stood up quickly, rushing after Abbey while she was staggering backwards.

"I ain't gon' give you the chance." Clyde muttered before letting out a grunt as he leaped into the air behind Abbey, leaping into the air and kicking his legs out as he wrapped his arms around her head, dragging her back down to the mat to slam her with a high impact neckbreaker!

Abbey didn't even get a chance to turn around before Clyde's legs wrapped around her head and sent her crashing down against the mat. She hit hard and groaned as she bounced, wrapping an arm around her head and shutting her eyes tightly.

"Guh!" The crowd winced and cried out in sympathy as they saw Abbey strike the mat hard following the neck breaker from the wily, desperate Texan who lay in front of Abbey on his back while his chest rose and fell dramatically, looking up at the lights. His back ached and he felt very tired after landing a combination of moves following a breath taking smother.

Meanwhile the divided crowd began to cheer on the two downed wrestlers. Audible cheers from the Japanese crowd were trying to get both Clyde and Abbey up. They were both fan favorites and they crowd was picking sides.

Eventually, Clyde pulled himself up and loomed over Abbey. "Uh..." With a groan, he grabbed her arm and ankle and turned her body side ways before he stepped over her.

He wanted to pander to the crowd to hype them up, but his failure last time told him to keep quiet, so he quickly climbed the turnbuckle and stood at the top with his back turned to Abbey, giving her a glance over his shoulder before he bent his knees and kicked off the top turnbuckle! Flipping in mid air for a moonsault press across Abbey's body!

Abbey was too busy trying to get the bells in her head to stop ringing as Clyde got off her and ascended the turnbuckle. By the time she stopped seeing double vision, the shadow of the flying Texan was already blotting out the arena lights.

She cursed under her breath, pulling her body up but not before Clyde crashed into her and flattened her to the canvas. She sputtered like a deflating balloon and her arms flopped to her sides.
