Crimson Snow; Seraphim and Tracy's encounter

For a moment, Seraphim stopped when her hold was shaken, and she stood there, her gaze just in awe that the girl would walk away like that. How could she be so... so stubborn and thick headed?! Seraphim had usually been the type to not care about most around her, and even hadsome sadistic urges, but this was completely different. This girl was just like her when she was younger, and she didn't want to see her end up the same way Seraphim had, there was nothing but pain and suffering to look forward to for such a path.

Before the red head got too far away from view, Seraphim regained her composure, knowing what she had to do. This was her chance to finally make a good decision, and she wasn't going to screw it up, not for Alison, and not for Father Maxwell either... he taught her better than this.

"Tracy, wait!" Calling out to her, finally using her first name rather than an insult, Seraphim started to run, hoping she could reach her before she got out into the publics eye. Desperation, concern, and even worry in her words, she ran as quick as she could before taking one last time to try and stop her, grabbing her around the waist, almost like she was yanking her back for a hug from behind. "Stop it! Stop being so dense and get a hold of yourself. Do you really want to just roll over and die? Do you really think there's nothing good to look forward to that you have to be so suicidal? Can you be happy dying that not one person would ever mourn you, that no one would even give a damnor remember whoever the Hell you even were?!?

" You want to know something? You want to know the reason why I was fighting in that dead end a few hours ago? " Tracy started, letting out a sigh as she remembered... " My family was killed by that stupid bitch." Of course, with her 'family', she wasnt reffering to her biological father and mother, but to the cats that took care of her when she was a child. " She killed them all. She even stomped on their corpses. She even spat on their corpes. And you think I'm crazy? " Tracy finished her short story.

Her eyes were halfly open, as the lack of blood weakened her body. She didnt feel like struggling against Seraphim's grasp, and nicely asked her to release her. " Let me go. I dont want to see your face again. " Tracy said with a cold tune of voice, and if the taller girl just put her hands off her waist, she would just walk away.

Despite Tracy's words, there was no way Seraphim was going to let go. Heck, she had a feeling the only reason Tracy was standing was because Seraphim was holding on to her, anyone else would have since she was bleeding out. And then she had the nerve to bring up things about that girl from earlier? Yea, maybe it was a sad story, but that didn't make anything different. "Oh don't give me that shit, because I don't have sympathy for you past. We've all got a story, take your pick." Seraphim said bluntly with her own attitude, hinting she had heard or been through her own tough times. Saying this, she still had her arms on the girl, but it was now rising from her waist to try and snatch her wrists instead.

With only a pause, she looked right at Tracy, returning the clare with her cromson eye, never backing down, trying to drill into this girl's head how wrong she was. "You talk tough and walk tall like the world doesn't mean a damn thing to you. And you know what? You can ignore everything all you want, but no matter how hard you try, reality is going to bite you in the ass, hard, and I'm here to be your reality check before you waist your life like some pathetic wimp who isn't even strong enough to try and live for a fucking change."

" Of course. I couldnt expect you to listen to me. " Tracy said, now starting to struggle a bit against the other girl's grip on her wrists. She just wanted to run away. She didnt care at all about what she left and was leaving behind. She only wanted to disappear...and join her 'family', wherever they are.

' I'm tough....but....I'm clearly not tall...' The red head thought, completely ignoring what the taller girl was saying first, but then focusing a little more on her voice. With one last sigh, just about to pass out due to the lack of blood, she asked. " Tell me one thing. What could you do for me? What do I need you for? " ....And with a pause, not long enough to let the white haired answer, she added. " What do you need from me? "

The more Tracy would struggle, the stronger Seraphim would clamp down. Her grip was tight, it was like being stuck in a steel jaw, only clenching harder and harder the more she tried to escape, getting to the point where it was beginning to hurt. Then, as Tracy asked her questions, Seraphim gave a pained smile, feeling like that question was something she was waiting for the entire time, and swiftly knowing the answer, which was as simple as a single word.

"Redemption." Was her answer back, answering both of her questions with just that. Tracy... she was too much like Seraphim was in her younger years, and she didn't want the girl to end up as miserable, or even worse than she had. In this case, Seraphim was thinking she could help the girl change, find something worth living for. And in Seraphim's case, it was as simple as upholding an old promise she made a long time ago at the church...

Tracy's struggling stopped instantly. ' ...Redemption...' To be just a simple word, it quickly got in her mind, repeating itself several times. At the point she started to understand what Seraphim's real intentions were. With a soft sigh, she said goodbye to her consciousness, falling backwards and on the other girl's front.

" ....Thanks.... " Was her last word. Her legs immediatly doubled, making the red head go down to her knees if Seraphim didnt hold her up. For the first time in her entire life, she was able to fall asleep with a smile across her face, fidning finally someone who really cared about her, and her future.

What time was it? No, the better question was what day was it?

The sun was just rising far enough to breach past the windows of the apartment, shining it's ray upon Tracy, maybe enough to awaken the exhausted girl. It was the next morning apparently, and Tracy would find herself lying in a bed with the covers over her, head resting peacefully on a pillow. Judging from the bed's gray sheets, and the fact that it was close to the yellow one meant it was... Seraphim's bed? Asleep in the other, Alison was off in her own world of dreams, a big smile on her face as she rested peacefully, her dreams always giving the sick girl happiness she could never imagine. As for Seraphim, she had slept, but now she was in the kitchen, preparing a breakfast for not two, but three people this time, since Tracy was her guest right now.

Seraphim was still in her pajamas, which was no more than a really long, oversized white, long sleeved shirt. It was enough to practically go down to her knees, the cotten shirt covering her up well enough, but since it was so loose, it sagged off her shoulder, even giving a small look at the top of her right breast. She also had switched eyepatches, since she never sleapt with the black one at nights. Instead she had a medical eyepatch on, covering her left eye like always with the white cloth, never letting anyone see beneath.

At the moment, there was the delicious aroma of bacon and eggs through out the kitchen as Seraphim was cooking, a tired look on her face since she didn't sleep well, nor was she known to be much of a morning person. Despite that, she did this anyway, nearly falling asleep while standing up as she cooked.

For Tracy, whenever she awoke, she would still feel the pain in her arm, but it wouldn't be as severe. This was because of the painkillers she had given the girl, but more importantly, she helped clean it up. In Seraphim's years on the streets, she learned a little on how to remove bullets from a person, having done it to her friends on the streets, and even once to herself. For Tracy, the bullet was gone, and beneath a tightly woven sheet of gauze and bandages, she would see a few stitches, enough to have stopped the bleeding and sewn her wound shut. Overall, the wound looked like Seraphim took decent care of it, and it should heal up decently in due time. Though it didnâ€t seem that just Seraphim had done her work with it, as further along Tracyâ€s arms, on her forearm and wrist there was the markings of a yellow highlighter, obviously from Alison as it had a smiley face on her skin saying 'Get better~'

Tracy was asleep like a baby. That...until the sun rose and shone right on her face. She woke up slowly, blinking her eyes many times to clear her vision. ' Where......am I...? ' The red head wondered, still sleepy and not recognising the place at the moment.

She rubbed her eyes with both hands, blinking a few more times. She took a look around. This place seemed really familiar....' Wait! Isnt this...Seraphim's apartment? ' As soon as her sight cleared up a bit, she found out where she was due to the yellow highlighter marks.

In the bed next to her was Alison, sleeping. But....as she remembered, Seraphim's bed was.....' Isnt that....Alison? *gulp* Then.....this is...Seraphim's bed?! ' The kawaii redhead wondered, starting to freak out. She didnt think that Seraphim could care so much about her to even take her to her apartment and let her sleep there.

Now she she was looking for the white haired girl. She didnt see her anywhere, and just curious, she stood up and walked towards the kitchen, where she found what she was looking for. " Seraphim...? " Tracy said with soft and almost nice tune of voice.

The delicious and almost soothing scent of breakfast grew stronger in the kitchan, enough to drive most people's tastebuds wild with expectations. Seraphim must have been a good cook, and she had been, picking up the skill back when she was at the church, voulenteering to take care of the other orphans. But despite the food, it still didn't change how tired Seraphim was, never being a morning person no matter how hard she tried. The white haired girl was slow to react at Tracy's words, turning her head slowly as her crimson eye fluttered half open a few times, before she slowly raised an eyebrow. "Nnngh... mornin'..." She groaned out, her entire posture slack and loose as she looked at the girl wearing no more than the oversized white t-shirt and medical eyepatch, caring little about how she looked this morning.

There was a long pause from Seraphim, calm, or probably just slow to react to Tracy being there and in stable condition before she turned back to preparing the bacon and eggs, her whole attitude clearly still half asleep. "...You sleep good, shorty...? And hows the arm..?" Though her voice was ragged and barely aware of what wa going on, she still managed to ask. After all, she had been worried about the girl all last night...

Tracy didnt seem really awake. She was still sleepy, barely able to understand what Seraphim was saying. " I..I slept good..." She said with a shaky voice, a bit nervous. Seraphim didnt look like she rested so much herself. " I guess...it's better now...But..." Because there's always a but...

" Why did you....take me here....? " She asked, a bit curious about Seraphim's act. She could have left her right where she passed out, but instead she chose to carry her home...' Was she.....really worried about me? ' She wondered. Her hands moved forward as her feet started to move too, slowly, but without stopping, towards Seraphim.

"Do you...really care about me...? I want the truth...." The redhead said, one of her hands going to her lips, while the other ran through her scarlet long hair.
