Crimson Snow; Seraphim and Tracy's encounter

'What a dull day it's been...' Thought the one-eyed brawler, who was now idly strolling the streets. Seraphim Harmonia, a new but rising start to the AFW league had decided to take her day off to just take it easy, and go out for awhile. After her victory against Megumi, and then going through some time with the psychiatrists to help her uprising PST problems she thought she had once tamed, Seraphim needed some time to get her mind off of things for now. Sure, she may have had a match coming up again in the next few days, feeling more than ready for it at this point, but for now, Seraphim had decided to take things easy today, even someone as brutal as her having a life outside the ring.

Currently, she was walking down some of the less populated streets of downtown, always preferring to be in the less crowded areas since she grew up as a streetrat and hated being in larger crowds. She was currently garbed in a very impressively designed [url=http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e28/ShadowOfIce/Shadow%20Tatsumi%20Kimiko%20Yomi/Seraphim_Ready_For_Anything.jpg:2jmy3lfw]outfit[/url:2jmy3lfw]; black baggy cargo jeans, a blue sleeveless shirt tucked into that and tied with a belt that had brass knuckles as it's buckle, and a white hoodie that was scorched with red and blue flame designs, helping to bring out the colors of her skin, eyes, and hair, really fitting the average sized girl who had a black, leather patch over her right eye. She used to have no care for appearance, never having the money to buy a decent set of even the most basic cloths, seeing as how she had no where to go or live. But since she had grown up and even became a part of the AFW, things were looking up for the rising star, she even had enough money to get herself a decent, one bedroom apartment for herself.

Both hands in her hoodie's pockets, Seraphim was strolling the streets right now, checking out a few of the backend shops downtown to see if there was anything that caught her interest, humming to herself with a pretty impressive harmony; Beethoven's Ode to Joy. It made the tougher girl seem a little lighter and less intimidating than she always was. And as she walked down the streets, getting closer to the slums and alleyways, she would occasionally stop, window-shopping with a half-interested look in her eye, currently stopping in front of an antique store. Seraphim was more sophisticated than she looked it seemed

Suddenly, a few guys ran down the street,one hitting the tall,white haired girl. He didnt even turn back to see if Seraphim was okay and just kept running to reach the rest of the band. They all were running towards a dead end. What was the hurry?

There was a lot of people gathered around two girls. It seemed like they were fighting. Indeed,it was quite obvious because one of them,a tall blonde girl was all black and bruised,while the other,a small redhead was hopping up and down on the floor,with ehr arms up,in a boxing-style like stance.

The small girl throw a sudden punch to the taller woman's gut,which made her double over. Then,Tracy (the redhead) sent a violent and brutal kick to her opponent's cheek,knocking her out cold immediatly.

'Damn.. looks like I donâ€t have enough yet. Expensive, but I wouldn't mind having that painting on my wall.' Staring through the window of the antique store, Seraphim spotted a small, but beautiful original painting that seemed to be of the outside of a Victorian style church on a snowy winter day. It was incredibly pricy though, not enough for her to get. But just as she was about to check her wallet anyway, Seraphim felt someone run by and collide into her, nearly causing Seraphim to fall forth and smash her head into the glass, before he kept going, leaving her disgruntled and going through a slew of curses.

"Fuckin' shit-headed dog-raping asshole, I'll get you for that!" Like a switch had been flipped, Seraphim went from her calmer, casual side to a sudden fit of anger before chasing the guy down, not only making him run to a fight, but also running away from one Seraphim would start. Just when Seraphim followed down a few alleys and to a dead end, navigating through the streets like they were her home -which was partly true- Seraphim skidded to a halt at what she noticed.

'A fight...?' Her interest perked, Seraphim would lose her anger for the moment, watching from behind the crowd casually, her eyebrow quirked when she noticed a smaller girl using a style like her own; boxing, and she wasn't half bad either.

The unofficial fight seemed to have ended, or so she thought, when suddenly another girl looked like she was heading into the fight, attempting to strike Tracy from behind. That was the downside to unofficial fights, there were no rules. Then again, Seraphim wasn't known for following them all herself. The tall, black haired girl, probably a friend of the block who just got knocked out, had attempted to rush Tracy from behind, but she would be poorly mistaken as Seraphim stepped in, grabbing the girl's arms from behind, and pressing her knee into the girl's back while she yanked at both arms.

"Tsk-tsk... not smart." She said to the black haired girl, then looking at the mysterious red head who had a power beyond what one would expect for her size. "Hey twerp, take your shot and punish this bitch too while you're at it." Seraphim said out to the red-haired girl, leaving a few of the men in the crowd intimidated and scared, but still watching.

After knocking the blonde out cold,Tracy turned around,giving her back to the rest of the people that were watching. She was going to head to her apartment,with the unofficial victory under her belt. She wouldnt have noticed the black haired girl trying to attack her from behind if it would have been thanks to Seraphim.

She stood still when she heard the word 'twerp'. Maybe who dared to call her like that didnt live to tell the story. Usually. Tracy turned back,really furious and yelled at the much taller and fairly more proporcionated girl. " Who are you calling twerp?! "

Every person in the 'crowd' turned back,not feeling really secure standing near of the fighters.

Seraphim had to hold back a laugh, but that didn't stop her from grinning when she heard Tracy's reaction. It was always fun to push someones buttons like that, even if it wasn't intentional. Still holding her grip on the girl's arms from behind, her knee pressing and digging into the black-haired girl's back as she cried out from the pain, Seraphim hardly even acknowledged her trapped victem. Instead, looking over her shoulder, the single red eye gazing at Tracy. "Feh... you're the shortest one here, so who do you think?" She remarked, not even making it sound like an insult, simply stating it as if fact before grinding her knee in a little more to the other girl. "Now, are ya goin' to punish this bitch or what? I didn't intervene your squabiling little victory without a reason." Casual, but starting to sound just a tad annoyed to see the twerp react so quickly. Amusing, but annoying...

Tracy simply growled and took a step back. Not because she was afraid or scared. Not because she was trying to leave the one eyed girl fighting against the black haired girl alone. She just wanted to get some momentum so she could perform her move perfectly. She turned her head around to the side and spit on the ground,preparing herself to start running.

As so she did. When she was close enough of the black haired girl,she would yell at Seraphim to let her go so she could connect a violent kick to the other girl's crack. That would surely make her escape,knock her down and out,or maybe even put her in the next ambulance to the hospital . " Move now!! "

'That's the spirit... shortcake.' Her grin remained as she saw Tracy taking her charge, ready to unleash a decisive, one-hit-ko. To add to the force, Seraphim would not only let go, but using her knee against the girl's back, she would give a shove, forcing the girl to stumble into the powerful kick.

Crrr-aack!

With an audible crunch, followed by the painful yelp and cry from the girl as she collapsed in a heap instantly, the crowd around them grew more frightened and uncertain, a few even suddenly dispersing after seeing such a menacing and brutal attack.

After a short silence, looking down at the two knocked out girls and not giving a damn about the crowd, Seraphim turned to look at Tracy, a hand on her hip like she wasn't even afraid if the red-haired girl attacked her or not, Seraphim looked at her, the single eye seeming to catch a gleam in it as she had a devious grin from the corner of her lips. "And I thought I could be brutal." She said rhetorically, awaiting to see what this girl would do next, mostly expecting her to launch an attack at her next.

The feeling of her foot destroying the black haired girl's butt was simply beautiful. She had to admit,she never felt so good. And it was all because Seraphim kept her from escaping. A free opponent wouldnt let her kick her in the ass so strong just because she wants. She looked down at the downed girl and stomped onto her back several times,laughing loudly.

" Hmph." Tracy simply ignored the one eyed girl's 'compliment' about her brutality,and just turned back,not really wanting to be there when the police come. Tracy quickly ran away from the place,completely ignoring the rest of the people,including Seraphim.

"Shit!" The moment the girl broke away, Seraphim heard sirens, realizing she was probably going to end up in one of those 'wrong place-wrong time' situations. And even worse, seeing as how she had been in jail before for her hidious crime, the police wouldn't listen to her side of the story. It figures, she takes 5 minutes to peak her curiousity, gets a little involved with something, and now she was putting herself at risk! Not letting hesitation kick in for even a moment, Seraphim did the first and only thing that came to mind; she ran.

It was like old times for her really, her younger years as a street rat, stealing food to survive, she had to run away from the police all of the time. So now as a young adult, she was only that much better as she knew exactly what to do. Instead of dispersing like the crowd had, knowing half of those dumb saps would get arrested, Seraphim took a different route, going for the fire escape ladder on the side of the building in this alleyway. Clearly knowing what to do and having done it plenty of times before, Seraphim scaled up the ladder, each step clearing two on the ladder as she reached the top in under ten seconds. With the roof being a few stories up, she could see down below, noticing the police had been a solid few blocks away from here and the red haired twerp was heading the other direction.

Remaining on the roofs, Seraphim would give pursuit in, hidden from being up high. She had some questions for this girl, an she'd be damned if she would let someone who almost got her arrested get off free. In the slums, all of the buildings were close together too, and with her experiance, Seraphim had virtually no trouble leaping from one roof to another. However she did have to take a few unexpected routes as some gaps were too big to risk. Still, having the rooftops to her advantage, she had the freedom of where to go, and would close in soon enough...

Tracy was pretty known in the downtown. She was one of the first persons in the list of wanted people. And the police has already studied and memorized her route of escape. Tracy thought she was going to be okay. After a long while of running and not hearing nothing,she stopped,a bit tired.

And then,the sirens of the police's cars sounded in her head. She didnt have any time to waste,and so she started to run. At least,until she got to a dead end,between two huge buildings,one of them with a fireman ladder. She simply stepped back,feeling really afraid. She had no way out now. " Dont move,Tracy Snow. Otherway,we will be forced to shoot " At least 5 or 6 police mans pointed at the kawaii streetfighter with their guns. The redhead simply held her arms up and gulped heavily...Could this be the end...?
