Eliza Harenwood vs Akiha Kosha - Embers

This was going to be it, the kick heard round the world. The one that would knock Akiha down and probably out too. The one that would have secured victory for the dancing passion, in one single and decisive blow that would have the enemy reeling when they woke up. It was stuff like that Eliza inwardly relished doing, a beautiful display of her skill. Power and accuracy in one move.

Except that this time, the swift and lethal limb of Eliza would fail to connect. The sword that was covered in stockings which would have offed Akiha's head had missed it's mark, and Eliza realised it as her leg just swung through the air. The ref had gotten too close to the action, and nearly paid the price for it too. A good thing otherwise that would have been a certain DQ for the dancing passion, but there was nothing good to be found aside from that.

As Akiha took a cheap shot at Eliza, a swift poke right in the eyes. Which jarred the British woman and made her begin to stagger back as she felt the numbing pain in her attacked socket, the jarring assault left Ms Harenwood vulnerable and open for attack!

Dodging Eliza kick and poking her eyes was what the Japanese wrestler needed to turn this match around. She could hear the referee warning her not to use illegal attacks like eye poking or she would risk disqualification, but the raven hair wrestler knew that a single eye poke would not get her disqualified and all she needed was one to gain control of the match. With Akiha opponent now vulnerable for attack and not wanting to waste any time, the raven hair wrestler would charge forward and attempt to knock Eliza down to the wrestling mat with a clothesline.

If the blow landed, Akiha would have build up some momentum and be back in control of the match again. The crowd, on the other hand, would be booing, furious at the sight of what just happened. Despite being at friction event in Japan, the crowd wanted Eliza the foreign tension wrestler to win over the local friction wrestler.

Eliza was stunned for the moment, Akiha's sudden eyepoke was something that the dancing passion was wholly unprepared for. Ms Harenwood fully believed that her attack would have been the last and decisive hit of the match and secure her victory, but perhaps Eliza was too self assured of herself there.

Akiha was pressing her advantage after her cheap shot, which had drawn loud boos to say the least. As Eliza was beginning to recover however she was promptly hit with a clothesline, the arm of Akiha slamming itself into the neck area of the dancing passion was done with enough force to strike the British woman down to the mat.

"Grhn!" Eliza grunted out as she fell to the mat, this assault served to better Akiha. And with the match taking it's toll things were not looking good currently for the dancing passion.

Akiha could see that her opponent was stunned from the eye poke and it gave her an opening, one which she took.  Charging forward, the raven hair wrestler managed to hit the dancing passion with a clothesline, sending the blond wrestler down to the canvas and making her grunt.  Things were once again looking good for the local friction wrestler as she had taken control of the match.  That being said her body was tired and her head was hurting like hell from all the attacks she had taken.

Realizing that she needed to end the match fast before she took another blow to the head, Akiha would attempt to grab Eliza by the hair to lift her back up to her feet.  If successful she would then try to reach between her opponent legs to grab Eliza crotch while her other arm would go over the blond wrestler shoulder.  If successful she would then try to lift her up before turning her upside and hold her in the air for a second or two.  Assuming that everything had gone to plan, Akiha would try to slam Eliza down to the wrestling mat for her finisher know as Pillage.

In a couple of brief and quick moves Eliza's built up momentum had been taken and given to Akiha, perhaps if the dancing passion had refrained from lifting Akiha up for her execution then perhaps Eliza might have secured victory by now with another move. Something that would have involved her lethal legs no doubt.

But that wasn't the case here, Akiha quickly scooped up the British dancer. Rather impressive considering that Eliza was the bigger out of the two girls, but Eliza didn't have time for admiration. But rather she was promptly set up for a surely fatal attack, that could spell disaster.

With that single notion the British woman made to struggle, but it wasn't quick enough in time. The prolonged state of the match had taken it's toll, dulling the reaction time of Eliza. And the ensuing result was that the British woman was dropped down, hard. With the certification in the form of a harsh thud from the ring mat, and no real movement from the dancing passion following the impact.

Akiha had managed to lift her British opponent into the air before slamming her down for her finisher know as pillage.  As Akiha sat on the wrestling mat she took a second to catch her breath and look at the damage she had done to Eliza.  It seemed her blond opponent wasn't really moving anymore, something that Akiha was glad about.  She wasn't sure what she would do if Eliza managed to get up from such an attack.

Deciding to now end the match, Akiha would get up, her first thought was to perform a matchbook pin but after a second she realized that was a bad idea, as Eliza could use her legs to break out of it.  Instead, the Japanese wrestler decided to go with a crossbody pin, a simple but very effective pin.  If everything went according to plan, the referee would slide near them and would start to count the pin.

Eliza was down and out, this was a situation she always tried to avoid in her matches against males. Given the usual height and weight problems effective power moves were able to really stop Eliza, Akiha's sudden use of it had jarred the British woman. Leaving her unable to offer much resistance to the current pin attempt from Akiha, aside from a grunt from the British woman as her opponent plopped herself on top and managed to start the pin count.

"ONE!"

No movement from Eliza. Aside from the in and out breathing of her belly, that couldn't really be seen as Akiha covered her.

"TWO!"

Eliza had one eye open, it was sort of glazed over however. And there was now some light twitching, but nothing apart from that. It looked like this was it.....

“THREE!”

That was it, the match was now over, Akiha had managed to secure a win and continue her winning streak. She would now roll off Eliza and lay on the ground for a second, catching her breath. Her British opponent was one of the toughest wrestlers Akiha had faced, those kicks had done a number and if Eliza had gotten another solid kick to Akiha head, the Japanese wrestler would have probably lost the match, even if it required a ten count. But that was not the case, today it was her victory and it was also one of her biggest ones, this was her first match versus a tension wrestler.

The referee would come and would help Akiha to her feet as her hand was then raised in the air as she was declared the winner as the audience booed her. Usually at this time the raven hair wrestler would do some kind of victory pose but her head was still hurting from all the brutal kicks and thus she simply went to the turn buckle and rested their as she held her head, now taking a moment to rest.

That was the bell rung, and in that moment Eliza knew one thing. She had lost this match, which was normally something she'd be fine with. However the manner of how this went left a foul taste in the mouth of the dancing passion, Akiha had screwed Ms Harenwood out of a victory. In light of this the crowd was giving loud boos and jeers at the winner, even if Eliza wasn't based in Friction the fans still rooted for the British woman.

It was slightly comforting to be sure, but at the end of the day Eliza's win streak had been crushed. Eliza lay there on the mat, taking some light breaths in and out in an attempt to recover from her match. Eliza wasn't angry at herself, but angry at Akiha and how she went about this match.

Wordlessly Eliza would get back up and approach her corner, grabbing her various items such as her entrance dress and fans. She then turned around and glared at Akiha before muttering "Cheap...." Eliza offered nothing else to her opponent, and with that she took her leave. The match had taken it's toll on Ms Harenwood's body, and rest was going to be required. Perhaps in future Eliza might consider sticking to her usual stomping grounds.

It seemed that Eliza was not happy about the match had unfolded, Akiha did not blame her, she had cheated to win after all.  Her opponent said the simple word cheap before exiting the ring.  The crowd was still booing Akiha, still mad at what had transpired.  Still the raven hair girl didn't let it get to her.  Today she had defeated a Tension wrestler who was on a winning streak, ending it while continuing on her own winning streak.  She would slip out the ring and make her way to the backstage.
