Asuka Kotori Vs. Akiha Kosha

Asuka wasn't sure what to think of this match, while she had been looking forward to a chance to get back at Gwendolyn for a while, she had never expected to be thrown at the tag partner of her rival. Akiha Kosha, the woman was an accomplished wrestler no doubt, she'd heard  a fair bit about her exploits and had seen a fair few matches from the pair and one or two of Akiha's own single matches. Though now she was gonna face off against the woman...while she did feel like she knew what she could expect, she was a bit annoyed at not getting the rematch against Gwendolyn that she wanted. Still she wasn't gonna complain about it, no if she won she might get that rematch that she wanted after all and she could then say that she'd bested a former Tag Team Champion!

Tightening her gloves on her hands, Asuka would step out of her locker room and get into position for her entrance. She had not special routine or anything for her entrance after all so it was a simple one for the stage hands to set up. When they called for the music to start, Asuka would step out onto the ramp to a mixed reaction...she had garnered quite a reputation after her match with Maddie had been released on the net.

Walking down the ramp, she would head up into the ring by rolling in under the bottom ropes and then getting up to her feet. Walking around the squared circle along the ropes and then settling into the center of the ring where she would stand with her hands on her hips. Eyes fixed upon the ramp as she was looking to catch a glimpse of her opponent.

Well, today Akiha had an interesting opponent, Asuka, the rival of her tag team partner, Gwendolyn. This match would now serve two purposes if she won. First, it would show that she was the better member of Imperial Order, second, it would send a clear message to Belinda and how their match in Summer Splash would end. That being said, Akiha knew this was not going to be an easy match. Asuka had gone toe to toe with Gwendolyn and in some cases come out on top. This meant she was a threat and should be taken very seriously.

Akiha theme would start to play and with that, she would come down to the ramp and start to make her way towards the ringside. The crowd would greet her with a massive amount of boo's but like always, Akiha simply ignored them. Instead, she focused on her opponent instead. Making her way to the ring, she would then slide into the ring and get up before taking a good look at her opponent. The crimson hair wrestler would then make her way to her turnbuckle where the referee would inspect her for any weapons. Once that was done she would make her way to the center of the ring.

"So you are my tag partner rival. Half Japanese, I can see why you would make a half-decent wrestler. A shame you won't get that rematch versus her anytime soon. Once I beat you, I will then take your spot in getting a rematch versus her."

Akiha was trying to get under Asuka skin, trying to make her mad so that she would make some rookie mistakes. With that, she would then wait for the bell to ring and the match to start.

Watching Akiha head down towards the ring and listening on to the boos of the crowd, Asuka would shrug her shoulders. She didn't care too much herself if the crowd liked of hated Akiha, all she cared about was that Akiha was a talented wrestler she wanted to defeat soundly so she could go claim her rematch. on the basis of having bested her rival's tag partner.

When Akiha came up into the ring and then went back towards her corner, the raven haired wrestler would slowly walk up to the center of the ring, one hand on her hip as Akiha soon joined her there. Her right eye twitching a bit as Akiha opened her mouth.

" Oh-ho~ We'll see about that won't we. I doubt you can actually handle me." Asuka said with a sneer as she would step back a step and raise her arms up, looking to start to circle Akiha....

It seemed that Asuka was confident in her own abilities but any wrestler who was worth something had confidence in their own ability. To not have confidence was to indicate they were a failure of a wrestler and didn't belong here. Though Akiha had thrown insults as Asuka, the truth was that she did respect her but she would not show here in the ring. "When this match is over, that doubt of your will be destroyed. Now then, let us get this dance started." stated Akiha in a confident tone.

She would now also start to circle and raise her arms up as well. With that, she would then try to close the distance and attempt to enter a collar and elbow tie-up, hoping to over power her opponent. She wanted to get a good idea where the two of them stood versus each other. Then she could start to plan the match accordingly.

Asuka would scoff a bit at Akiha's words, shaking her head a bit as she circled her crimson haired foe. She had no intentions of letting this uppity girl talk smack as she pleased. She knew well enough that their wrestling styles wasn't dissimilar and size-wise they were fairly similar. Of Course, Asuka was a bit more shapely and just a tad bit bigger, but it was far from the difference that Akiha had with her other rivals.

After the bell rang, and the two had circled each other once or twice around the ring...the crimson haired wrestled moved forward for that lock up! Asuka would answer in kind as their bodies clashed and they locked up for a collar and elbow tie up. Asuka would quickly brace herself and try and stop Akiha's push, but of course the Crusader managed to push her back a step....however, Asuka would dig down harder and then try and push Akiha right back, trying to reclaim the step she lost and then more, keep pushing her foe backwards.

The two would tie up and at first, Akiha seemed to have the advantage, forcing Asuka to take a step back but the dark hair wrestler would then redouble her efforts trying to push Akiha back. The crimson hair wrestler would be forced to take a step back but now having a good idea of her opponent's strength she would attempt to find how good of a technical wrestler she was. "Not bad but it's going to take more than that!" said Akiha in a confident tone as she would put her plan into motion. With that, she would shift her weight and attempt to move in closer. If she managed to do so, she would try to put Asuka in a headlock trying to squeeze the air out of her.

Asuka felt Akiha push up towards her and then slip out of the lock up as she would then try and wrap that arm of hers around her head. Grunting a bit as Akiha pulled her into that headlock....but Asuka wouldn't be out done so easily! Trying to throw her arm into Akiha's back fore a forearm strike against the spine to try and weaken the headlock.

After which, Asuka would try and grab at Akiha's arm and slip out of the hold, trying to twist it in behind the Crimson haired woman's back and try and lock her into a hammerlock hold. " Same goes for you!"

Akiha managed to get Asuka in a headlock allowing her to put some pressure on the dark hair wrestler.  A smirk would appear on her face as she did so.  Though that smirk would not last long as she took a forearm strike to the back causing the hold to be somewhat weakened.  "Gah!" stated Akiha as she was placed in a hammerlock hold.  She could now feel the pressure being applied to her arm.  "Really? Is that all you got?" stated Akiha in a bit of an annoyed tone.  With that, she would attempt to push back and try to send Asuka in the turnbuckle, trying to sandwich her between herself and the corner of the ring.  If she managed to do this, she would then attempt to follow it up with an elbow strike to the face of the half Japanese wrestler.

Locking in the hammerlock she got a cute little gaps of pain out from the crimson haired wrestler who then suddenly decided to start backpedaling. Grunting and struggling she was soon pushed all the way back towards the turnbuckle, hitting it with a thud and hissing out as she was flattened in between the corner post and Akiha's frame.

She would growl as she released that arm, before that other arm came up and smacked her right in the side of her head, causing her to groan out and roll her head a bit on her shoulders, a bit dazed from the blow to her head.

Akiha's plan managed to work, she not only got Asuka into the corner but also hit her with an elbow strike to the head, causing her to be freed from the hammerlock. Not wasting a second, she would turn around and them do a small jump, trying to hit Asuka with a flying clothesline. The idea of the attack was to let Akiha build some momentum and start to dominate her opponent by knocking her down a bit. If her plan worked, she would then grab onto both ropes and start to deliver a furry for stomps aimed for Asuka's gut.
