Friction in MSG: Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Haruna Saito

Akashi watched as Haruna lifted her kendo stick up. The Sumo kept her eyes focused on Haruna's chest, watching her elbows from her peripheral and when they moved, the sumo lunched again, looking to crash into Haruna again fro their tight space. She was going to get hit once more, the kendo stick again cracking over her back.

"Yaaaah!"

Akashi yelped in pain, feeling the searing sting down her back as she crashed into Haruna's thighs and weakly wrapped her arms around the shinobi's waist.

Haruna's strike connected solidly, however the huge sumo barreled right through it and into her, grabbing the purple-haired girl by the waist. "Wh-what!?"

Thrown off balance, Haruna fell backwards, crashing to the hard wooden planks with Akashi on top of her, dropping her kendo stick, which clattered and rolled away. "GAHHHHH!"

Akashi panted as she now awkwardly mounted Haruna while on the wooden bridge. She looked around and grabbed for one of the kendo sticks and then lifted up. But instead of bringing it down, she tossed it over the bridge.

Akashi then sat up and pushed her hand into Haruna's chest and lifted up her other hand, clenched into a tight fist. "This is the only weapon I need, Saito-san." She said before sending her fist down towards Haruna's face.

"Shit...!" Haruna tried to squirm out from under Akashi, but the weight bearing down on her was too much. She was filled with apprehension as she saw the sumo grab one of the kendo stick, although the result did not please her either. That was one less resource she could utilize later on, though fortunately one other bamboo sword still remained nearby.

Still, Haruna first had to deal with her current unfavorable position. As Akashi's fist came hammering down, the purple-haired diva had little option but to throw her arms up over her face. The blow was blocked, but the impact was still enough to cause a jolt of pain to shoot down her arms. "Nnnngghhh...!"

Akashi sat up once she cracked Haruna across the jaw. That was quite satisfying. Akashi pushed off Haruma's chest with her hand and got to a crouch. She then reached for a bit of Haruna's yukata and tugged on it as she tried to stand up.

"We're settling this in the ring, Saito-san. We've showed them a taste of our culture, now I'm going to show them a taste of how we fight."

If Akashi could haul Haruna up, she would try and back them off the bridge, clenching her free fist tightly, daring Haruna to try something.

Haruna grunted indignantly as Akashi jerked her upright, glaring daggers right into the sumo's eyes. As she backed them off from the bridge, the purple-haired diva could tell by the look on Akashi's face that she was just daring her to try something. The mere thought of it made her blood boil, enough to that point she really did want to do something.

"I'll show you a fight..." she snarled, firmly grasping onto Akashi's thick sturdy arm with both hands, Haruna used it to hoist her body up into the air. Deftly slipping out of the the rest of her kimono and free from Akashi's grasp, she twisted herself around and tried to throw a kick to the sumo's probably bruised back.

Akashi was pulling tightly to try and drag Haruna back towards the ring. So when Haruna slipped free from her yukata, leaving her bare torso exposed except for the right wrappings around her modest chest, Akashi was thrown off balance.

"Guuuuh!"

The kick completed the job and Akashi was thrown to the ramp, growling as she tried to get quickly back to her feet.

Haruna agilely landed on on the ramp in a crouching position, before quickly taking off running towards the remaining kendo stick still on the bridge. Even with her mediocre fencing skill, she knew her odds were still way better using it. Her strikes weren't powerful enough to leave lasting damage against Akashi's thick, fatty armor, and the shinobi diva needed something to bridge the strength gap between them.

Akashi hopped up, only to see Haruna taking off in the other direction as she dashed for the kendo stick. The sumo furrowed her brow, but she understood the tactic. Haruna, who Akashi believed to be inferior as a wrestler in every way, needed the advantage of a weapon to simply bring the match to a place of equal footing.

Akashi, too, was headstrong and as Haruma dashed away, Akashi gave chase, running after the shinobi and plodding loudly up the wooden bridge, trying to shoulder tackle Haruna before she could set herself.

Hearing Akashi plodding after her, Haruna picked up her pace, reaching down for the kendo stick as she ran by. She was able to grab it tightly, but was forced to slow down just enough for the heavy sumo to truck into her.

"Ghhhhhhhl...!" Haruna grunted as she was knocked down onto her side, skidding dangerously close to the edge of the bridge. Still clutching her weapon tightly, she tried to use it to push herself back up to her feet as quickly as possible.
