Pfft.
I remember seeing CM Punk doing the GTS on an announce table.
That amused me.

That was actually me on accident, I don't know how that account was active, since it's the one i couldn't activate on the other board because Aol is weird with authentications. So we'll pretend that didn't happen =)

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
10 years ago today, the world lost Eddie Guerrero, one of the greatest performers in pro wrestling history. He is still missed to this day.
One of the most talented wrestlers and greatest personalities in the sports entertainment business, Eddie's career lasted over 15 years, with performances all over the world, becoming one of the industry's most beloved and celebrated performers. Few could match his charisma and passion, or combine impressive athletic ability with an entertaining personality as well as he did. He inspired several others that followed him, most notably, perhaps, being WWE "Diva" Sasha Banks.
Got to see WWE live back in 2004 at Arco Arena, when Eddie was WWE Champion, defending the belt in the main event. It was an absolute pleasure to watch him perform and its still one of my favorite memories.
Thanks for the laughs, the great matches, and the memories Eddie. You left us too soon.

So... odds on Ronda Rousey going to WWE now?

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Highly doubtful.
Ronda Rousey being beaten in no way means the end of her career or ability as a money draw.
What it does mean is that, for probably the first time in a long time, Ronda now has competition that can fight at her level. She's not going to pull a Brock Lesnar and run away to the WWE because she has to actually face legit equal competition now, this loss, especially the somewhat one sided nature of it, is going to motivate the hell out of her.
What's far more likely to happen is she's going to stop making movie appearances, cut off any and all ties and plans with WWE, and rededicate herself to training and improving herself so she can one day fight Holly Holm again and try to regain her belt.
Congrats to Holly for the win though, she did goddamned well.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
I was actually thinking more along the lines of Mike Tyson than Lesnar. Incredibly dominant start, becomes a mainstream celebrity, life goes off the rails, loses title. Eventually gets pulled in for Wrestlemania to give someone a rub.
Lesnar's a different scenario, he was already past his physical prime by the time he got to UFC, once he lost the belt there wasn't many ways back into the game for him, and Vince was prepared to drive 5 dump trucks of money to his house in the middle of nowhere to come back.

For those who weren't aware of the situation in WMMA
https://i.imgur.com/sA5QH2O.gifv
that was a formally 12-0 fighter getting... well... KTFO'd. One of the biggest surprises in UFC ever.
