Catch Your Breath

Valley had a quick frown when Haley said she wasn't going to use the pads, but she erased it quickly enough and kept the criticism to herself. "Up to you, babe. Just try to keep those kicks away from that pretty face." She dropped down and rolled her way out of the ring, giving the two younger girls some space to go at it.

Alaina saw Ace enter and heard the exchange between the two women. No pads? Alaina looked at her own and felt like she had an unfair advantage. Ace was willing to take full blow hits, so why shouldn't Alaina? "Should I take my pads off too so its all the same across the board?" Alaina asked. She hoped she was given the green light to take them off.

As she waited for the answer she eyed Ace. Ace was fast, could strike really hard, and knew a few really good holds. Last time they met, she nearly hammered Alaina with a few good power moves too. Shit, there wasn't any facet of wrestling that was a weakness for Ace since she seemed above average in everything. Thats one reason why Alaina loved fighting Ace, if she could handle her she felt like she could handle anyone even the top tier women fighting for the big titles. However all that was a reason Alaina hated fighting Ace as well: She knew she'd walk away from any match or serious spar very, very sore.

"Heh, if you want too, I've no objection. I know my Doll will throw a fit if you knock me out, but lets be honest, none of us are going to be wearing training pads if we fight again, know what I mean?"

Haley replied, bouncing back and forth on the balls of her bare feet, giving Alaina time to remove her pads if she so desired. If she didn't, or when she was done, Haley would rush in, not wasting time circling and just trying to straight up grapple with the Amazon, despite her power advantage.

Alaina took her pads off as quickly as she could, and as soon as they were out of the ring Ace was already moving in! She was wasting no time today it seemed, and the two women locked up! "W-whoa! You are full of energy today aren't you?" Alaina asked as she ended up taking a few steps back before she stabilized herself and regained her footing. Alaina pushed back against Ace, as if to show that even if taken off guard, Ace needed to do more than that to get past Alaina's power.

Alaina knew she could power Ace back, and decided on trying to once again do something these two might not expect! She kept hold of Ace and fell backwards in a roll, kicking her legs up and placing them on Ace's mid-section as she rolled back, trying to monkey flip Ace over onto her back!

"WOAH!"

Ace yelled, suddenly falling forwards and seeing the seeing as her back hit the mat, shaking her head and rolling over to her front.

"The hell was that!? You can flip now!?"

She yelled, still surprised at a girl Alaina's size pulling off that move.

Alaina chuckled a bit. "I still have my power game, its not a secret. However you can't work with Taylor Parker and Julia Rogers every day and not learn things that are more technical and fast-paced." Alaina said with a shrug as she got to her feet.

Ace would be getting up and letting her take the initiative would be a big mistake. Alaina moved in to try to grab Ace by the arm and whip her towards the ropes! If all went according to plan, a hiptoss would be waiting for her as she ran right back at Alaina!

"That's new, but I've got new stuff myself!"

A monkey flip was certainly surprising, but not exactly a stunning move, especially given Ace's perfect condition. Upon nearing the ropes, she jumped onto the middle rope and, in move that she hoped made Valley proud, grabbed the top rope and used the middle rope as a springboard, leaping off of it and throwing her body back, turning in mid air and trying to collide with Alaina with a cross body!

Ace's sudden high flying offense completely took Alaina by surprise! "Ungh!" She groaned as Ace hit her across the chest and knocked Alaina back. Alaina fell right on her back with Ace's weight on top of her. Staying still would doom her, so Alaina summoned the energy to try to push Ace off of her so she could get back to her feet!

Alaina knew Ace could slap in some nasty submissions.... all she wanted to do now was at the very least make it to her feet!

Valley was, indeed, done proud when she saw Haley go flying through the air with the greatest of ease. She doubted Haley would ever become a full-fledged flier, but she was glad to see that some of her risk-taking tendencies rubbed off.

"That's my girl!" Valley pounded her fist on the apron as she smiled in sheer delight. "Sorry, Al, have to cheer for my baby."

While the surprising leap had taken Alaina down, it certainly wasn't enough to KEEP her down, Ace getting thrown off of the fallen blonde's body and scrambling up to her feet.

With Alaina rolling over to push herself up, Ace smirked, moving around to get behind the girl, before grabbing one of her feet, trying to catch it in her arms and start twisting it with a tight Ankle Lock hole, hoping the extremely simplistic hold would take the big Amazon by surprise for the two seconds she needed!
