Gemma Faraday vs. Valley Doll - Age Before Beauty

Valley opened her mouth to say something - what, she couldn't remember - but paused when Gemma said the weird thing that she said. "Brimper...dicks?" She exchanged a quick glance with the referee, who shrugged and seemed just as confused. "Is that actually a slang word anywhere?"

She didn't get the answer to that question. Instead, she got some renewed resistance from the fierce, fighting female, as Gemma struggled in the hold. Valley wasn't exactly known for her upperbody strength, but she was far from being a weakling, either. She figured she had enough power to hold the smaller woman down for a while and grind her, but that turned out not to be the case. She fought hard, powered down and flex, tightened it with everything she had, but she couldn't stop what was going to happen from happening: Gemma was getting free.

As she was pushed off, Valley started to go into a sprint, trying to head towards the ropes to build some momentum. But Gemma didn't give up her hold. The Brit's grip was still secure, so the Slamazon wasn't able to get more than a couple of feet away before she was yanked back. Before she could react, before she even had a chance to counter, she found herself on the business end of a hard blow in the face. Gemma's first strike of the match, and a good one at that.

The blow was enough to knock Valley off her feet and put her down right on her back, momentarily stunned by the rapid change of fortune. She shook her head and tried to clear the cobwebs before Gemma had the chance to rock her world once again.

Gemma had put everything she had into her escape and clothesline, and could still hardly believe it as she felt Valley coming down to the mat with her. The crowd popped for the sudden turn, causing Gemma to feel the rush of competition for the first time in months. When Valley had her caught in hold after hold, wearing her down, Gemma had hardly expected she was going to be able to snap out of, much less in dominant fashion.

This was no time to let small victories go her head, however. Gemma told herself that this was how she'd gotten beaten, before. She had an advantage now, it was time to press it. Keeping hold of Valley's wrist, Gemma pulled herself up to a knee, and tried to lay the toned blonde's back across her thigh.

It was a risky gambit, trying to keep things grounded and technical. Valley had already demonstrated her dominance in technical wrestling. Still, the Brit hoped that some element of surprise would stay on her side, allow her to keep on top. With Valley in position, Gemma slid her free arm around her opponent's throat, and tried to tweak her head back in a loose dragon sleeper. Far from expecting to force a submission, the "air raid siren" nonetheless hoped she could keep wearing her stunned opponent down, and keep the upper hand.

"I get you off-guard with that one, love?" she asked, with a smirk. "Not sure what's going on, here? We feeling all confuzzled, now?"

Valley was a little stunned after the harsh hit, but she was a long ways from being finished. She shrugged off the blow and had just started to sit up when Gemma came back down on her, quick as a whip, wisely taking advantage of even the smallest opening. That much, Valley expected - the girl clearly had some good experience, knew how to control herself in the ring. What she didn't expect, though, was a dragon sleeper.

She cried out, both from surprise and pain, as her neck was wrenched back. Neither of them were the strongest when it came to upperbody strength, but the beauty of the hold was that it didn't need all that much power to be effective. It was a superior position, and that went a long way. Worse yet, she still had the hold on her arm locked tight, limiting Valley's options. She was slowing Valley down, trying to work her down early to take control of the match. Smart little lady. If she wasn't too busy trying to breath, she would've given her a compliment.

But there was a saving grace. Gemma hadn't scissored the waist - yet - so Valley still had her legs to work with, which gave her a few ideas. She decided to go with the riskiest one.

Valley brought her legs out from under, coming out of a kneeling position and planting both of her feet flat on the canvas. For a moment, she was bridging, knees bent as the rest of her body stayed straight, still trapped in the hold. She took as deep a breath as she could with the constriction around her neck, grabbed hold of Gemma's shoulder for support, then pushed up with her legs in one powerful, explosive motion, swinging them high into the air. She tried to pull her head free at the same time, using the momentum to aid her. If everything worked out just right, she'd do a backflip over her younger opponent's head and come down behind her, freed and in a much better position.

Gemma kind of hated herself for it, but she took some gratification from Valley's yelps of pain. After her return, after playing the victim for so long, it was Gemma's turn to dish out the pain. She was the one to worry about, now.

Gemma planted her boots on the mat, sunk her pert bottom low, trying to put as much pressure as humanly possible onto Valley's slender neck. She shook her shoulders a bit, causing both women's hair to tousle wildly, as she locked in the hold. She grinned playfully. The dragon sleeper was an easy enough hold, and effective. And while Gemma still didn't expect Valley to tap, she couldn't help but take joy in holding the dominant position. All the same, as the steampunker rocked back and forth with her victim, she couldn't help but feel like she might have forgotten something ...

Then, quick as a hiccup, Valley bridged up. Gemma's eyes widened, realizing what was happening just a few crucial seconds after it was too late. The Brit could feel Valley's hands clasp around her shoulder, bracing herself, and all she was prepared to do was stare in wide-eyed shock.

Then, the athletic blonde went flying over Gemma. "No!" the Brit protested, futilely. She was too shocked, too visibly disappointed to even respond properly. When Valley landed behind her, Gemma planted herself on her hands and knees. Hardly a defensible position. Unfortunately, her first priority was trying to suss out what had just happened, not formulating a strategic response.

"Yes!" Valley had a short laugh as she flew over Gemma. Couldn't resist.

The crowd clapped as Valley stuck the landing and escaped the dragon sleeper, and she shared in their elation as she breathed in deep to refill her lungs. It had been a long, long time since she pulled off anything quite like that escape. In the end, she knew it had a lot to do with pure luck - if Gemma had scissored the waist, she would still be in that hold, and she wouldn't be getting out of it until either a long struggle towards the rope or her younger opponent just got bored with it. Not a very pleasing prospect. She had to be more careful and remember that, while there was an experience gap, she wasn't exactly dealing with a day one rookie, either.

With that in mind, Valley decided to stick with her mother's motto - 'pin early, pin often'. While Gemma was on her knees, trying to gather her bearings after the quick turn around, the Slamazon hopped over to her side and reached down, wrapping one arm around her neck while the other went through her legs. She rolled forward, pulled Gemma along with her, landed on her side and dropped her smaller opponent right on her shoulders, going for a quick pin with the Oklahoma roll-up.

The referee did her job and dropped beside them, going for the count. "1...!"

Even Gemma wanted to clap, as Valley landed her reversal of the dragon sleeper with aplomb. "What the actual fu--!" she'd managed to stammer, just as she heard Valley's boots hit the mat. Her head was spinning. Part of Gemma knew she should be chastising herself for letting that happen, but it was just so damn cool!

While she was still reeling, unfortunately, Valley was working. Gemma barely registered what was happening during the fact, but she felt the cool slide of her opponent's hand passing through her legs, hooking her, pulling her right up off her base and slamming the Brit right against the canvas.

Within seconds, Gemma was in a pinning predicament. "Wait, what?" she stammered, as the ref began her pin count. Gemma kicked her legs as wildly as she could, trying to shake the shock out of her head and shake her body off the mat.

"TWO!"

Thrusting her hips upward, Gemma rolled off of her spine and tried to lift her head off of the mat. Valley had come all too close to beating her, just now. Gemma braced herself, putting herself on all fours for a moment, trying to process what had just happened and how close to utter humiliation it had just brought her.

Valley wasn't the least bit surprised when Gemma kicked out of the pin - if anything, she would've been totally shocked if that had worked, and would've lost a lot of respect for the budding young wrestler. But the pin served its purpose in more way than getting the win. She had to keep Gemma guessing, make her believe that she was always a second away from a three-count, that there were no safe moments for. Pressure, pressure, pressure. She already seemed a bit frazzled, and Valley aimed to make that even worse before they were through.

"Feeling confuzzled?" Valley chuckled as she rolled back and popped up to her feet. Gemma was on her knees, still looking a bit out of it. It seemed like she needed a moment to catch up, wanting to slow down things. She could help with that.

She reached down quick and tried to wrap her arm around Gemma's head, looking to put her in a tight front facelock and force her to stand up along with her as she rose. Not exactly a submission manuever, but it could lead to all sorts of fun things. "Head back in the game, babe."

Gemma was staggered, helpless. She could feel like she was getting played, but knowing that still didn't seem to help with actually not getting played. She wanted to be happy to not be pinned, but Valley was laying on the heat. Sure, Gemma wasn't defeated right now, but with her opponent right on top of her, that wasn't a long standing guarantee.

Gemma scrambled around on her knees for a moment, right up to the second that Valley wrapped her arm around Gemma's face and started dragging her upright. The slender Brit struggled upwards, bucking and thrusting against Valley's grip, but not having the leverage to get out of it.

"I'm- rrgh!- I'm right here, you," Gemma said, trying to sound tougher than she felt. "Right in the game!" Still, the slender young woman was right at her opponent's mercy, still trying to shake Valley loose while Valley was in complete control of the match. "Just you wait," Gemma added, unconvincingly.

"Nope, nope, nooooope." Valley shook her head as she struggled to keep Gemma in the hold, squeezing hard on the furious Brit. "Waiting, huh?" She tossed back what little hair she had left and gave the fiery Brit a firm squeeze, cranking up the pressure. "Fine, but don't take too long, okay? Not getting any younger."

Despite all the bravado, Valley wasn't having the easiest time holding Gemma, as her squirming became more and more frenetic. She figured, at best, she could hold her for another five seconds before she squirmed out of her control. Fortunately, she only needed about three seconds for what she had in mind.

Valley kept the hold tight and pushed forward, bringing them over from the side of the ring. She held out her hand and did a quick spin of her finger, signaling to the audience, and then she leaped forward with a somersault, making sure Gemma was secured all the way. Valley landed on her back, supine, and tried to bring her younger opponent along for the ride - if it all worked out, the back of her head would crash right into the shoulderbone of the Slamazon, scoring a picture perfect corkscrew neckbreaker.

Gemma continued to thrash against Valley's deftly-applied grip as long as she could. "Hgghnnn!" Gemma groaned, as Valley clenched in the hold. It was humiliating, being dominated the way she was, but there didn't seem to be much the steampunker could do about it, at the moment. False bravado or not, Valley was keeping Gemma in check, and managing to embarrass her pretty significantly with her control.

Valley was able to pull Gemma away from the edge without much difficulty, the Brit not having a solid base to anchor herself with. In truth, Gemma was freaking out. Gemma was younger, faster, but still Valley had her in check at almost every point. And now, the tanned beauty was taking full advantage of that control.

The next moments were all a blur. She heard the audience pop, for a second, while she was still squirming for freedom. Then, everything around her disappeared into a blur of pink and blonde. Gemma's body lurched and spun, getting twisted around until Valley slammed Gemma down on the mat. Gemma's neck screamed, while the crowd erupted in cheers. The Brit's slender limbs flailed in pain, for a moment, as she tried to sit up. Gemma's eyes widened in shock and pain, a look of bewilderment on her face. The punker leaned forward, her head hanging loosely down, pigtails brushing limply across her soft chest while Gemma's body rocked from side to side. Finally, Gemma fell onto her back. Arms and legs ragdolled in every direction, Gemma glared up at the arena lights. She gasped for breath, trying to keep in the fight. "Whuh- huh ... ooowwww ... " she moaned, trying to ask herself what she could do, to get back in this fight.
