Entropy Title Triple Threat Match! Julia Rogers vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders vs. Gwendolyn Dupont Bettencourt (C)

Perhaps one of the few benefits of having consistently endured the back breaking bearhugs of Migiri Oozara was the heiress having grown a certain resilience towards getting the life squeezed out of her in such a manner. But although Alaina's application of the move paled in comparison to Gwen's infantile admirer, the nigh-constant abuse from both competitors had noticeably taken it's toll on her already. The heiress struggled to ward off the encroaching darkness in her weary eyes...

"Hugah!!" Until she was suddenly jostled out of the bearhug and from her waning senses by some unseen force, the heiress sent tumbling over towards the ropes until she laid their prone with her left arm dangling over the ring edge. Her petite frame had come to a rolling halt some time ago but someone neglected to tell that to her still spinning sensibilities that refused to settle down along with the rest of her. With the ring resembling a battle hardened warzone littered with bodies, the audience remained on their feet after the high flying maneuver. Hyped up from the missile dropkick and from sensing that a conclusion to this see-sawing match was on the horizon since every competitor was apparently on their wobbly, last legs.

Stirring back to life from the echoing chants all around her, the heiress willingly acknowledged that her Entropy Title was in mortal danger of slipping through her grasps this night if she didn't find a way to equalize her chances. And in an odd sense of kismet that coincided with her fearful thoughts, Gwen would lift her left arm when she felt something heavy and metallic being placed in it. Raising an eyebrow when she noticed one of her surviving entourage members had filched the Entropy Title from the time keeper and sneakily put it in Gwen's hand. With hardly a word of gratitude towards her lowly employee, Gwen would lethargically climb the ropes to get back on her feet with a nefarious glare centered on Alaina's back. Gradually lurching over towards the still recovering Amazon, Gwendolyn gripped the instrument of Alaina's destruction with full intention to bash her in the forehead and fell the insufferable interloper once and for all...

Julia’s body fell right to the ground after her boots smacked off the heads of both her opponents, breaking up Alaina’s bear hug and dropping both women straight to the mat. The crowd was going crazy, but none of the combatants were able to mirror that explosive energy at the moment. This battle had worn heavily on everyone involved, and for a moment not a single one of them was able to climb back to their feet.

The blonde cowgirl put her palms against the mat and pushed, grunting out as she elevated herself to her hands and knees. There she remained as took some time to catch her breath once again. “Come on... It ain’t over yet...” she muttered to herself. The moment reminded her of a recent match in which she’d teamed with Taylor Parker, and she could now practically hear her mentor screaming at her from the corner to get back up.

She started looking around to find her opponents, and her eyes locked onto Gwen. The heiress was climbing to her feet, and holding the Entropy Championship. Had the match ended without Julia realizing? That didn’t seem likely. The entourage was still lurking around ringside, and Gwen’s music wasn’t playing. But as she saw the heiress get up and start stalking Alaina, everything immediately became clear, and Julia knew the time to act was now. Pushing herself back up to her feet, she hurried behind Gwen as quickly as her weary legs would carry her, before reaching out and trying to jerk the title belt right out of the defending champ’s hands!

“I don’t think so!”

Gripping her preciously customized Entropy Title belt in her hands and winding it up like a baseball bat, Gwendolyn remained hidden in Alaina's blind spot as the groggy Amazon sluggishly ascended. Unaware of the immediate danger lurking behind her in the form of a crouching heiress coiled up like a venomous viper transfixed on her hapless prey. The encroaching fear of actually losing her belt had led to blinding desperation, and that desperation had led to volatile delirium. Gwendolyn was visibly pushed past the brink of her limits in this match from the abuse she had taken. With a spiteful glare in her eyes, the heiress felt she had come too far and sacrificed too much to lose her title to two...

"...Insolent wretches...Vermin who obstinately refuse to know your place..." Gwendolyn muttered under her breath as she sensed her time to strike approaching with every passing second. Practically every audience member was sounding off at once to try and give warning to Alaina, but their noble efforts only served to drown each other out and ended up combining into a garbled and incomprehensible ocean of bellowing voices. Gwendolyn took advantage of the near deafening sound surrounding them to chastise her opponent further, uncaring if Alaina could make her out or not as she reached new heights of indignation.

"This is MY title belt!!! I EARNED THIS!!! AND I HAVE NO INTENTION OF RELINQUISHING IT TO THE LIKES OF-!!!!..." Gwen's self-centered ranting and her attack in general would both be interrupted by the sudden swiping of her title belt from behind her. Already having sprinted forward a few steps towards Alaina, Gwen's belt bashing assault wouldn't amount to more than her half-heatedly bumping into the Amazon with hardly enough force to knock her down. After getting a brief yet fluffy face full of Alaina's bouncing chest, the flummoxed heiress would take a step back...look into her empty hands...and look back up at Alaina with as wide-eyed and wholly innocent an expression she could muster.

"...Umm..."

This match had given Alaina a headache equal to a hardcore match, and that was saying something given the fact that she was carted off to the hospital after the last one she had a Summer Splash. She heard the crowd roaring and as she stood she could make out Gwendolyn's voice shouting at her, calling her a few names. However as Alaina turned Gwendolyn had sheepishly run into her and had a baffled look on her face. Gwendolyn's confusion wasn't Alaina's problem that was for sure.

Right now Alaina's problem was the fact that Gwendolyn had been standing, and was able to get up before Alaina could. Alaina felt like she had to toughen up some after this match, as she was running on fumes at this point. However, she did have enough in the tank to smile at gwendolyn as she hammered her abdomen with a nasty body punch! "Action, not words Gwenniecakes." Alaina growled as she then thrust Gwendolyn's head between her legs. Alaina lift up her foe and prepared her for an amabomb!

Alaina wanted to hold Gwendolyn up for a second and spin, showing her off to the crowd and instilling a little bit of impending doom into the heiress. Alaina was going to focus every bit of humiliation and pain she had felt not only in this match but in her strap match screw-job.... and every other close loss of her 18-month career.... into this one move. Alaina didn't want to amabomb Gwendolyn simply to pin her, she wanted to drive her straight through the rain canvass! While that may not have been possible thats what she was going for, right now it was all or nothing!

Jerking the Entropy Championship from Gwen’s fingers had done much more than help out the Amazon. It also gave her a wide open target right on a silver platter! Setting the belt aside, Julia couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of Alaina before the heiress, like a bull staring down an unfortunate matador. For what Gwen had just tried to pull, not to mention everything she’d done to the dojo trainees in their previous matches against her, retribution was in order, and Julia had no doubt it was about to be delivered in full.

Sure enough, Alaina went on the attack. And it didn’t take long at all for Julia to see what she had in mind. However, while she would’ve loved to stand there and watch Gwen get Amabombed straight to hell, the cowgirl knew she couldn’t win the Entropy Championship that way. So as Alaina attempted to hoist the aristocrat up to her shoulders, Julia moved onto the apron and hurried as quickly as she could to the corner, before ascending up to the top rope. Fatigue slowed her down a bit, but she hoped to get there before the Amabomb had been delivered.

If she could make it, Julia would leap out and attempt to crash onto Gwen with a divine cross body, trying to time it right as Alaina would execute her explosive finisher! Doing so would put the luchadora in prime position for a pin to seal this match. And if she could pull it off, she’d immediately reach out to hook one of Gwen’s legs while laying back against her chest for the pin!

Gazing up at Alaina with dilated pupils like an ill-fated deer in head lights, the precariousness of her situation slowly dawned on the overshadowed heiress. In her rage-induced state she had neglected to account for the location of the third threat in this triple threat match. The cowgirl luchadora robbing her of her blunt instrument and, perhaps more impressively, for the first time ever, leaving her at a loss for words with no grandiose, articulate speech to talk her out of this one.  

"Oooph!!" Alaina's only response to Gwen's silence and puppy dog eyes was a resounding gut punch to her abs that immediately had her arching forward and cradling her battered stomach. The second consecutive full-powered strike to her midsection by the Amazon that night, and one that reignited the pain from the first one before her golden curled head was tucked in between Alaina's constricting thighs. Sagging limply while bent over and nearly collapsing to one knee before the heiress was deftly hoisted overhead with alarming ease and situated atop her shoulders.

The jarring body blow and head over heels elevation left her dizzied and in a foggy state of mind while she was embarrassingly paraded around the ring. The exhaustive toll of the match was written all over her weary visage, nearly all remnants of adrenaline and energy reserves thoroughly tapped out as she non-resistantly slumped forward for the Amazons show of strength. Her impending dread would finally be realized after several agonizing seconds of waiting, yelping out loud before being meteorically Ama-bombed with rope shaking reverberations. The sickening slam had her petite frame bounce off the mat to a half-seated position before lifelessly collapsing back down, laid out and spreadeagled.  

Panting softly with her eyes fastened shut and her decimated body not responding to her commands to move, Gwen felt the overwhelming back and head aches coaxing her into a senseless slumber to escape the pain. But her stubborn and boundless pride overruled her sense of self preservation. Repeating to herself through her inner monologue that she was on the verge of losing her Entropy title for a source of motivation, she utilized her last inkling of strength to lethargically tilt her head up with one wincing eye open to briefly catch a shadowy figure...

"PWAH!!!!"...slam squarely atop her prone form, her limbs jerking upward before collapsing at her sides!! Julia's high-flying assault putting the final nail in the coffin of Gwen's chances to retain her title to uproarious applause by the entirety of those in attendance!! Cascading camera flashes capturing the entirety of the dojo team's jaw dropping and newly invented team finishing maneuver. With her slackened leg hooked and Julia rolling her up for a pin, the heiress' inner monologue was silenced this time around, her eyes fastened shut as the referee slid into place for what was absolutely a perfunctory pin count. 

"1!..."

Alaina was so focused on the power bomb that she didn't even notice Julia. As Gwendolyn was absolutely plastered the the mat Alaina quickly hooked one of her legs and leaned back, sure that Gwendolyn was completely on empty. However as she got herself in position and the referee counted she felt her side touching someone else....

"TWO!"

Alaina glanced over and a look of disbelief was etched onto her face. "Wait... Julia!?" Alaina blurted out as she realized Gwendolyn was being pinned by both women at the same time! Sure... it would make it harder to kick out.... but who the hell would the winner be? That question along with a couple dozen other flooded Alaina's mind as she also felt a very strange mix of emotions. She was happy to not lose, but did she win? Was winning this way really all it was cracked up to be? Alaina almost felt like winning this match was like cheating. An empty win, provided Gwendolyn did stay down. Did Alaina really win or is this Julia's win Alaina jumped on? Did Julia jump in on Alaina's pin?

The second from two to three seemed to be an eternity. As soon as that count fell... if it fell.... Alaina would jump up and raise her arms up triumphantly. Hell, she was on a tear where she took the fight to both other women only being stopped from a win by the entourage who weren't even in the match. Also from what Alaina could tell the most coordinated attack was those two on her, with a failed double-suplex and successful skull-jarring double-superkick! In her mind, she did earn a win if this pinfall was successful.

Julia was so caught up in the moment, she hadn’t even noticed that Alaina had hood Gwen’s other leg for a pin at the same time she had. The second count was made without a hitch, and as far as the cowgirl knew she was only one more second away from being crowned the new Entropy Champion! But then she heard Alaina’s voice, and glanced at the Amazon with a look of bewilderment. “Wha-- Alaina??” And then...

“THREE!”

The bell rang, and immediately the crowd erupted into thunderous cheers that nearly blasted the roof off the place! The devious, underhanded champion had at long last been dethroned! ...Or had she? Perhaps more importantly, if she had, then...who was the champion now?

Julia let go of Gwen’s leg and pulled herself back up to her knees, and not one bit of her extreme confusion was hidden as her eyes frantically jumped around from Alaina, to the ref, to Gwen, to the timekeeper at ringside, and every mix and combo of them in desperate hope that someone would shed some light onto this bizarre situation! “Wait! Who... Who won?” she asked the ref while pushing back up to her feet. And to her dismay, the ref seemed every bit as confused as Julia. After an awkward exchange of glances back and forth at Julia and Alaina, she moved to grab the Entropy Championship. The cowgirl was expecting - or rather, hoping the belt would be handed to her, declaring her the winner. But that didn’t happen. And yet, she didn’t move to hand it to Alaina either.

By now the crowd had come down from the excitement of Gwen’s defeat, and put two and two together to understand the predicament. Once again, a match for the Entropy Title had ended in controversy... That alone was enough to draw a fairly large amount of boos from the crowd, though many simply muttered among themselves as if trying to figure everything out.

Before long, Julia started to hear dueling chants rising up from the audience. Choruses of “JU-LI-A! JU-LI-A!” and mirroring shouts of “A-LAI-NA! A-LAI-NA!” were building all throughout the arena. The luchadora started to wave her arms up in synch with the chants from her supporters, encouraging them to get as loud as they could! And again, she turned to the ref in search of some hope for a hint of some sort of answer for this situation! “C’mon, ref! Who won the match?!”

The cacophonous roar of the crowd was broken by a familiar song starting up over the loudspeakers. Instantly the crowd unified into a chorus of boos as Lukretia Von Creuzfeldt, the friction General Manager, appeared at the entrance ramp.

She had a bright smile on her face as she brought the microphone to her lips. "First off, I vould like to congratulate all three of you on quite a hard fought match." She said and offered a soft clap. "But, it seems zat zere is a problem?"

Lukretia paused, keeping her smile. "Zis, I do not see. Miss DuPont Bettencourt vas clearly und cleanly pinned, so, unfortunately for her, she no longer has ze right to claim herself as ze champion. As for Miss Sanders und Miss Rogers, vell, now no one needs to vorry about choosing a contender or booking a match. It is already done. Ze two of you vill face each other at Avalanche und whoever vins vill be ze Entropy champion."

Lukretia crossed her arms under her chest and smugly looked at the ring.

Amidst the ensuing chaos from the stunning, and by now habitual, controversy-laden conclusion to the Entropy title match, the former Entropy Champion remained splayed out and was already being referenced in the past tense in terms of her status as champion. Slight involuntarily spasms aside, the combined finishers left the haughty aristocrat teetering on the edge of unconsciousness and essentially lifeless aside from her heaving chest. Everything that could have gone wrong in this match had unfolded on cue except noticeably more humbling, Gwendolyn essentially being the only competitor to walk from this match as the only, definitive...loser.

The slack jawed remnants of her entourage had by now all picked themselves up from Julia's earlier trouncing and were holding their heads in wide-eyed, mouth agape shock at the nightmare scenario that had become reality. Stunned silent and as rigid as lawn statues at the sight of their benevolent employer decimated to the point where she was unable to leave the ring under her own power...only stirring back to life themselves once Gwendolyn started doing the same. The heiress raising a hand to her forehand and turning to lay on her side. The confirmation that she was, in fact, still alive, finally coaxing them into action as they rushed to her side and ushered her out of the ring after performing all the wellness tests for her lucidity, including asking how many fingers they were holding up.

"...Nngh..." Now outside on her groggy legs with an entourage member hoisting her up under each of her arms, the heiress kept her golden curled head low as she was slowly led through the crevice between the side of the ramp and the barricade to a more direct route to the infirmary. A raucous audience heralding the end of Gwen's Championship Reign Of Terror along the way with clanging bells...if they had any. She was vaguely cognizant of what had happened, the ecstatic cheering of the audience cluing her in to the most important fact. That she had lost her Entropy Title to someone...
