Tag Elimination: The Valkyries Vs. Blaise Cameron, Amy Poford & Mariko Ishii

Divine pushed the fans chants out of her mind as she got ready to wrestle, keeping her eyes locked on Mariko for every second. No, the people weren't behind her - they never were and they'd never be. That used to bother her, but now she's come around to Mako's way of thinking. Why care so much? They'd win, and that was all that counted.

"Oh, there are plenty of good excuses." Divine indulged in a lewd laugh and smacked her own ass. "Have you ever tried to sit on Yamato's face? I mean, the way it just perfectly fits in between the cheeks and the sounds he makes, and-"

Divine didn't get her answer, even if Mariko would've been inclined to give it, which she probably wasn't. Instead, she got a face full Mariko's forearm right out of the gate - as soon as the bell rang, the angry Japanese bombshell was all over her. The forearm slammed into Divine's face at mach speed and sent her stumbling off towards the corner while she rubbed her chin.

The crowd, of course, loved it.

If Mariko were to be fully honest in answering Divine’s question, yes, she definitely had done so before. Several times. But it had always been during wrestling spars with him, and never anything more than brief moments of playfulness and teasing. She’d never taken it anywhere near as far as Divine had. Even still, that was all beside the point. The fact that the Valkyrie was using her own pleasure as an excuse for what she’d done was just one more reason to beat the living shit out of her.

The crowd burst into loud cheers the second Mariko’s forearm introduced itself to Divine’s pretty face, sending the Brazilian beauty stumbling back. But the Japanese vixen had no intention of letting her prey get too close to her corner. She had business to settle, and she needed Divine to be away from the other Valkyries to make that happen. So she immediately lunged forward and grabbed at one of Divine’s wrists, before turning and attempting to whip her off into one of the neutral corners.

Since Divine was so insistent on trying to talk about how much she’d enjoyed Yamato’s humiliation, the logical reaction was to try to beat her face in until she wasn’t feeling so talkative anymore. With that in mind, Mariko would take off in a sprint toward Divine and fire her right boot up, aiming to bring the sole crashing right into her jaw!

Divine was off to a bad start, and she knew it could only get worse with Mariko. The two of them were physically similiar - roughly the same height and strength and weight. But mentally things were a different story. Divine had been training, trying to improve her skills leading up to the match, but she knew things would heavily favor the hometown girl when it came to in ring experience.

There were ways to work with the handicap, though. She tried to make her way over to her corner and get a little aid from her fellow Valkyries, but Mariko cut that off and sent her to the nuetral corner while she was still stunned, hammering her hard into the turnbuckle. Divine wasn't even given a moment of peace - before she could even think about recovering, Mariko was closing in fast and raising her leg, looking to lodge that pretty little white boot of hers down the Brazilian's throat.

"Shit!" She jerked to the side and stepped around Mariko at the last moment, avoiding the boot by a thin margin. As she turned, she put her martial arts training to good use and swung her leg around, giving Mariko a swift kick to the back of her knee. She wasn't able to get too much force into it, but it was a start, she hoped.

Mariko wasn’t afraid of the Valkyries, but she knew how quickly things could turn south if she suddenly started having to deal with more than one of them at once. That was simply a recipe for a bad time, and letting Divine get too close to her team’s corner was a key ingredient worth avoiding at all costs. Fortunately, whipping Divine into one of the other corners took care of that little problem.

From there the plan was simple: Kick this bitch right in the mouth so hard she can’t ever say a single thing about Yamato ever again. Mariko liked the sound of that plan, and loved how it looked in her mind even more. But unfortunately, what we want and what we get aren’t always the same. And instead of connecting with Divine’s pretty face, Mariko’s leg hit nothing but air before landing draped over the top rope.

“Tch!” she grunted while starting to hop back to bring her leg off the rope. But just as it came back over, there was a sudden, stinging impact in the back of Mariko’s knee. “Agh!” she shouted while wincing as the leg briefly buckled. She was fortunate the kick wasn’t strong enough to do any severe damage, but it did manage to set her off balance for a moment...

The sly smile was quickly returning to Divine's face, but inside, she was a bit less unsure. She'd avoided the kick, but if it had hit, it wouldn't knocked the daylights out of her. Maybe enough for a pin...or worse. She got the distinct impression that Mariko wanted to put her in a submission hold and keep her there for as long as humanly possible. Needless to say, she was not down with that.

Getting her pinned quick and finishing this fall would probably be in both her and her team's best interest, so she decided that would be her goal. As Mariko stumbled back, Divine dropped down behind her, brought her hand through the femme fatale's sinewy legs, reached up and pulled her down as she she fell on her back. She dropped Mariko firmly on her shoulders with the schoolboy, and tried to hold her down for a pin. Bit of a long shot, but she might get lucky...

The referee dropped down and started the count. "1...!"

The tide can turn ever so quickly and powerfully in a match, and that couldn’t have been better demonstrated here. After cornering the Valkyrie beauty and nearly kicking her head clean off, Mariko suddenly found herself being rolled over for a surprise pin attempt! But it was still far too early for her quest for vengeance to be put down so easily.

Just before the two count could be made, Mariko jolted her legs up and rolled a shoulder off the mat to break the pin. And as she did so, she grabbed at the arm between her legs while attempting to clamp her lethal legs around Divine’s head and neck. The rollup was sneaky and clever, but Mariko intended to make her foe pay for it by trapping her in a triangle choke!

Makoto wouldn't approve of Divine getting a win early - after all, she wanted to drag things out as long as possible, make everyone suffer. But they couldn't do that if they didn't win in the first place, and Divine wasn't feeling too confident at the moment. Best to wrap this up and focus all of their hate on whoever came next.

It was a good thought, at least. Mariko and her triangle choke felt differently. Divine was caught between a powerful pair of thighs as the pressure bore down all around her skull, and she could quickly feel herself fading in the hold.

"What the hell?" Mako cried out and slapped the turnbuckle "Get the fuck up, it hasn't even been one minute!"

Divine hissed as she thrashed around and tried to bring her legs to the ropes, hoping for a break. "Not...helping..."

Like a python with its prey, Mariko’s legs coiled and locked nice and tight around Divine’s head, neck and arm. And not even a minute into the bout, it seemed there was already some distress among the Valkyrie ranks. That was quite pleasing to Mariko, though her fiery and intense expression didn’t do much to show it. And she continued pouring on the pressure as much as she possibly could while Divine frantically thrashed and flailed about, until the girl’s legs finally found the ropes and the ref was tapping Mariko on the shoulder, telling her to let go.

Normally, she would’ve obliged. But a thought then occurred to her. Would Divine have done the same had their positions been reversed? Not likely. Add that to the vengeful wrath that was completely fueling her tonight, and suddenly there was virtually no reason to release the hold. At least, none that she could think of. So instead, she yelled out and flexed her legs while pulling back on Divine’s arm, cranking the pressure up as much as she possibly could!

“Let her go, Mariko!” the ref shouted, but the words seemed to fall on deaf ears. When the strangling hold wasn’t released, the obligatory warning count started. “One! Two! Three! Four...!”

Only then did Mariko finally uncoil her legs from around Divine, before pulling herself back to her feet. She wasn’t so consumed with bloodlust that she’d let herself get disqualified, but maximizing Divine’s suffering in the triangle choke certainly felt like a worthwhile effort.

Divine brought one foot on the ropes, then the other, squeezing it between her ankles and shaking it vigorously. She was in a world of pain at the moment, of course, but she wasn't so messed up that she didn't remember the rules of wrestling. She had the ropes. Mariko was supposed to let go. She wasn't letting go, and Divine's head was starting to feel like it might literally explode.

"Get..." She wheezed and shook her head, fighting for every breath she took and word she spoke. "Crazy bitch, get...get off...get..."

Mariko finally, finally, released the hold after an agonizing four seconds, and when it was finally done, Divine was left laying on her back, grasping her neck and coughing up a storm. She had plenty to say about that little stunt by the Japanese native, but Mako summed it up perfectly.

"That was bullshit!" She spat out and pumped her fist at the referee, standing on the bottom rope to make up for her height problems. "Don't give that bitch a slow count, make her fucking let go when it's time to let go!"

Hearing Mako’s complaints in the Valkyries’ corner almost made Mariko crack a little grin. Almost. But she managed to contain her amusement and remained focused on the task at hand: continuing to dismantle Divine.

Though she was perfectly pleased with her progress thus far, she damn sure wasn’t done. Far from it. So she reached down to grab onto the Brazilian’s dark locks and pull her up back to her feet, before wrapping an arm around the back of Divine’s neck.

“Lets get you away from those pesky ropes.” she’d mutter while trying to take a few steps back toward the middle of the ring. And if she could get Divine there without any trouble, Mariko would then drop down and attempt to spike the Valkyrie right down on her head with a ddt.
