A Date to Remember

Kagami blushed as Mazzie criticized her. "Hey, it is not my fault i don't know how to dance." Kagami said as she gave Mazzie a stern look. "Would you rather me dance like some of the people here? I mean if you want i could just hump you like they seem to be doing." Kagami said as she stopped dancing to wait for Mazzie's response.

mazzie matched Kagami's look with her own and stopped dancing as well. "Whose fault IS it then?" She asked, crossing her arms under her chest. She blushed at Kagami's response but remained still, glancing at the other club goers.

"I bet you'd like ME to do that to YOU." She said flatly.

Kagami stood opposite Mazzie as the two had their stare down. "Well, maybe i would but that is not the point." Kagami said as she refused to break eye contact with Mazzie. "I just came here because i thought you would like this place. I don't know how to dance and this place really isn't my scene." Kagami said as she would take a step towards Mazzie. "I just want you to have a good time."

Mazzie sighed and relented a bit. "I know, ok." She said. "This place is fine. It's not like you were dancing bad, I just thought it was weird." She said and turned away. Mazzie sighed. "Kagami..." She said, shaking her hips and trying to get back into at least pretending like she was dancing.

"Maybe we just don't really have that much in common..." She said, sheepishly looking up at Kagami. The last thing she wanted to do was upset the girl who wanted so badly to be with her, but it was a serious consideration for the Canadian.

Kagami watched as Mazzie turned around and started to try and dance again. "Please don't say that. I really like you." Kagami said as Mazzie said they might not have much in common. "I can learn to do things you like." Kagami said as she would push her way through the dancers to get in front of Mazzie so she could look at her face.

"Please don't give up on me yet." Kagami said as she would try to dance like Mazzie to show her that Kagami was willing to try.

Mazzie closed her eyes as Kagami got in front of her and started pleading. She felt weird. Kagami was trying really hard to try and fit a square peg into a round hole but the girl was determined if nothing else.

Mazzie rubbed her temples and adjusted her glasses. "You know... if you really want to try and make something work between us, you need to stop acting so, uh..." Creepy? Obsessive? There was a Japanese word for it too. "I guess the date isn't over yet..." Mazzie finally said. She knew she was probably just as much to blame as Kagami. She could try to be more into it and she wasn't AGAINST it...

She closed her eyes listened to the music. "Want to get a drink?" She asked. Maybe that would loosen her up a bit.

Kagami stopped dancing when Mazzie asked her to stop being something. Kagami let out a sigh as she looked at Mazzie. "I am trying but i am not used to going on dates." Kagami said before she smiled at Mazzie. "Yeah a drink would be nice." Kagami said as she would make her way to the bar. Kagami figured maybe a drink would calm her nerves and help her express her feeling for Mazzie without coming off like a creep.

Mazzie pulled Kagami to bar and looked at the selection. She wasn't even sure what to get, really. She just drank beer back in Canada but she doubted that she could just ask for a Molson.

"Um... Just give me whatever..." Mazzie said to the bartender. She looked at Kagami. "I usually just get beer, but I don't think that sounds right at a place like this..." She said, looking for Kagami to help her a bit.

Kagami followed Mazzie to the bar. "Um, i am sure they have beer. If you want some." Kagami said before turning to the bartender. "Um, i will have some sake." Kagami asked as she hoped that the bar would serve her some as it was the only alcoholic beverage Kagami drank.

Kagami then looked at Mazzie "So, um do you come to clubs like this often?" Kagami asked as she waited for her drink.

"No, I'll have sake too." Mazzie said and nodded to the bartender. She then looked at Kagami. "No, not really..." Mazzie said and then glanced around. "This isn't really my scene." She admitted.

'I don't really have a scene other than... uh, titfighting. It was the only thing that kept me from ending up in jail, probably." She said and frowned. "Well.." Mazzie shrugged as the sake was promptly served.

"Salut!" She chirped and downed the hard drink.
