The United Kingdom Elite (C) vs Juniper Nayle and Nick Solem

John saw Juniper's limp, and smirked. It was the sign, she'd been affected. The blood had been smelled, sure Juniper might have immense strength. But John would inwardly swear to try and make the redhead and Nick desperate to tap out, indeed that was how John preferred to overcome the foes in front of him. He was the UK Elite's resident submission expert, or torture artist as Lucy once joked.

Mr Knight glared stoically at the enemy now, keeping a close eye on the action. And Nick too, if the man dared to intervene then rest assured the British paragon would assault him. He only hoped that Anampo wouldn't mind, the fact that Mr Solem was a friend of his girlfriend may complicate matters. Depending on how this match went of course.....

The master of creation was eager to press on and try to press the advantage given to him, so that he could perhaps better ensure the victory of Britain's finest. Still the battle was going to move into nearer the middle of the ring, no mans land. Nevertheless John proceeded, arms outstretched and curved. The artist would try to get close, and then suddenly lurch forth to grab one of Juniper's arms and attempt a standing wrist lock. Wasn't anything fancy but it was basic and to the point.

Nick was tense, his head in hos hands as Juniper was caught in that submission, and again when sue got up and showed the affect of the move. He honestly had a lot of confidence in Juniper, but it was his responsibility not to pet these brutes rough her up too much. He saw Ryan's glare, and looked away. There needn't be any more intimidation that he had to worry about.

Juniper grinned, though still moving back. But, John had lunged forward with his reach and grabbed her hand to put in a wristlock. Her grin did not fade even as the pain set in. "I already showed you what I can do...And youc-come for more?" She brings a foot forward to press on John's stomach and push while falling back. She aimed to flip him over her and slam him back-first on the canvas.

John knew that Juniper was tough, and that was exactly why he was keeping up his submission holds. Wear her down as much as he could, soften em up and then deal with her. And Nick too, John would have some moves cooked up for that guy if given half the chance. Juniper might be feeling confident now, but they'd see if she was still like that at the end.

Still Juniper would get one over on the artist here, seemingly able to tank the pain that John was cinching in with his wristlock. The redhead taking it in stride and suddenly doing a move that was quite akin to a judo flip, with the close proximity of the pair it was all too easy. John let out a loud grunt as he got flipped and slammed onto the mat, releasing his grip on Juniper's arm to try and nurse the pain to his back. But Mr Carnaby wasn't going to quit, the tag belts were on the line. And if he lost on his first title defence on his first ever title, then he might as well just retire.

What neither of Britain's Best realized was, Juniper wasn't the pain tank of the two. Of course, she could take the pain on het and deal it back double, even she had a breaking point. On the other hand, Nick was able to take anything Juniper had shown him prior to the match tonight and seem to want more once released. Whether it was a hunger to learn or a hunger fir pain, Juniper didn't dig much deeper.

Juniper had flipped John, panting a bit after doing so and standing again. She would continue to back up as she was doing before. Het goal was interrupted by John grabbing her but now, she was able to go back to her corner and tag Nick. "Watch out, he'll catch ya good..."

"I'm sure he will..." Nick opens up the ropes to allow Juniper to exit and for him to enter. And once in, he would wal towards the downed John.

John was expecting Juniper to press the advantage given to her, he certainly would have done so. But regardless he was inwardly grateful, this gave him the chance to catch his breath after the redhead's counterattack. Which was always good, gotta stay strong as best you could. So that if your partner needed you you'd be right there, John had proved that back in the tension tag tournament.

Nick had been tagged back in, he was still rather fresh. And John was down on the mat, but not for long. The master of creation had rolled onto his belly and got himself onto his knees, to get himself ready. He considered tagging back in Ryan, casting a brief glance to the British paragon. Mr Knight smirked and said "Press on John." giving the master of creation the go ahead.

John had quickly focused back on his enemy, getting into a vertical stance to greet Nick. He stood ready, edging around the opponent. Daring him to try and strike at the artist, a look of determination on the facial features of Mr Carnaby.

Nick starts to walk towards John. That flip must've taken more out of John than thought. He still was on the ground by the time that Nick had reached him. The dog ears on Nick's head lay back as he growls slightly. He didn't want to be horrid to the man and kick him while he was down.

"Come on, chap." He says. Not in an encouraging way, but as if scolding him. "I ain't hitting ya win you're down. Get up so we can start even." Nick sure was being generous. But had John not gotten up soon, Nick would recuse his statement and throw a foot forward to push on John's head.

John just needed one chance, one chance to get the opponent into a submission. And then he could really cinch the pain on, inwardly the master of creation was considering begging Nick to come at him. So he could get in close, and the artist would have a shot at cranking on the pain.

Thankfully it seemed that there was a god, Nick was firing out a kick at John. The champ was watching closely at his opponent after the brief glance to his partner, but other than that the master of creation watched for the slightest chance to get his opponent into a submission.

So what did John do? He just managed to catch the kick, and then managed to grin. Now the artist had em, it was time to use this opportunity. John would try to sweep out Nick's standing foot, to knock him down. Using the holding leg the artist would attempt a straight tried and true submission hold, a good old Figure 4 leglock. This was one of the best moves in the mind of John. The classic of Ric Flair, with good ring positioning as well. Nick would be in no man's land if he wasn't able to counter the move in time.

John was a sneaky one. He wouldn't respond to Nick's want for him to get up. Instead, he would wait for the dog to throw the kick at him, to which John had caught. "Wait, no!" Nick gasps, falling backwards onto his back. He groans out when his back slams into the canvas. He gasps once again as John folded his legs around.

"You! Hey, don't d-do that!" He growls. He barred his teeth and tries to back away. But with his legs being folded into that leg lock, his body dragged towards John's. Surprisingly, Nick wouldnt make too many sounds as the move was locked in. Just a few groans.

John gave a rather large grin, now that he'd gotten Nick right where he wanted him. That is in a submission, the forte of the master of creation. Truly a fine counter, with Ryan now clapping in response to his partner's move. "Aha! Well done John." the British paragon praised with a smirk. Mr Carnaby was trained personally by Ryan and Lucy in a gruelling regime comparable to that of the Spartans, and now the artist was going to pay dividends.

The artist had cinched in the figure 4 leg lock, a tried and true one. And was going to whittle down the legs of Nick, it was the plan of John. The weaker the legs the more chance the enemy would be on the ground, and that would equal more submission chances. Still Nick wasn't wincing in pain really, admirable in the mind of John. But still, it was time to put on the pressure. With that in mind Mr Carnaby was going to continue this for as long as he could, the better to apply more pain on the enemy.

Holding his groans in, which wouldn't be very much anyway, Nick would stare down John as he pours on tye pressure in the submission. Nick's eyes would waver after a few moments in the submission. Off to the outside, Juniper was watching tentatively. Nick was showing his endurance for sure here...

"You can lock in a very powerful submission...But just cause one gear stopped doesn't mean the others won't move!" Nick growls. Technically, he was wrong. It just sounded better in his head. He would try and launch his upper body forward and take a punch at the chest or face of John!
