The Aztecs that once walked these lands were mighty warriors. Their brutal instruments of war live on as they are put in the hands of two modern day warriors. While the deadly obsidian has been stripped and replaced with wooden replications, they will still be used to mete out punishment and claim victory and glory.

Adrian honestly should have seen this match up coming from a mile away. She'd gotten herself involved in the Hardcore division by fighting River Styx, and after a convenient chair shot and an inconvenient time for the bald brawler, had managed to play Kingmaker when all she wanted to do was get a bit of revenge against River who now had her hands full dealing with Angel. And good luck with that, she thought happily to herself. Everything for the first time in years, seemed to be coming up Adrian.

The former cosplayer was back on Pay Per View, and back hunting for gold and a little bit of payback against the current hardcore champ as well.

Perfect Strangers by Deep Purple echoed throughout the arena in Mexico City, a dangerous place about to get even more so as The brunette burst onto the stage, a sadistic grin plastered on her face as she strutted her way to the ring, taking time to examine the various replica weaponry "So are these basically paddles with bits stuck on the side or is this an El Kabong situation?" She asked the time keeper as she turned one over in her hands, trying to get a good feel for the thing before leaving it on the outside and sliding into the ring, ready and waiting for the Viper to show.

Adrian wouldn't have to wait long for her opponent to arrive as Brittany entered the ring to the boos of the crowd. Brittany had a smile on her face and the belt around her waist as she made her way to the ring. Brittany was feeling quite confident as she was fighting Adrian again and the last time the fought Brittany had come out on top.

Brittany slid into the ring ignoring the weapons on the ground as she made her way towards the center of the ring. Brittany took off her belt and raised it in the air with her fist before looking at Adrian. "So, i am surprised that you actually accepted a match with me. If i remember last time i beat you and claimed a belt. This time i am going to beat you and keep my championship." Brittany said as she handed the ref her belt. "I hope you are ready to enter a world of pain." Brittany said as she waited for the bell to ring.

Adrian's smirk didn't leave her face even as The Viper made her way to the ring, and to be fair: she had a lot to be confident about. By hook or by crook she was a two time hardcore champion and Adrian was seemingly on a bit of a slump win wise. "Well considering I pretty much handed you that belt a week ago I figured you at least owe me dibs." Adrian brushed off, "And our last match was two and a half years ago blondie, a lot's changed. Like your stylist." the cosplayer said as she moved closer, looking to get right in the champion's face before the bell rung, and open with a quick right hand punch. Nothing fancy: just smacking the viper right in the face

Brittany smiled at Adrian as the girl talked to her. "Thanks, i like the new look." Brittany said as her eyes never left Adrian. Brittany's head snapped to the side and she was forced to step back as Adrian punched her in the face. "Is that all you got?" Brittany said as she would take a step forward before attempting to punch Adrian in her stomach as a bit of revenge for the punch to the face.

"Wasn't a complement." Adrian added at the end of her punch, smirking as Brittany's head snapped back only to grunt in pain when the Viper fired back. "Ummph!" the brunette let out as she doubled over, only to fire back with a low kick, trying to smack the Hardcore champ in the knee, starting the match off as it meant to go on. Two women hitting each other until one fell over.

"Screw it, ring the bell, start the match!" The ref called over to the time keeper as the Hardcore title match started off for real this time.

Brittany let out a grunt of pain as she took a step back to avoid another kick to her leg. Brittany then heard the bell a she reached for Adina's hair so Brittany could pull Adrian towards her knee that was rushing up towards Adrian's face. "You've gotten better but you still can't handle me. Why don't you run away like you did lat time." Brittany said as she would try to keep her hold on Adrian's hair so she could attempt another knee shot to Adrian's face.

"Last time..." Adrian growled, the grin fading from her face fast as Brittany reached up to grab the Brunette's hair and pull her down, trying to drive her knee into the former cosplayer's face only for Adrian to wrap her arms around the blonde's thigh and pull herself in closer, she still took a knee to the chest, and it still hurt, but she had a jaw still and a grip on Britanny's leg. "...last time you were fighting someone who could barely walk," she growled into the Viper's thigh, barely audible above the crowd. "Seems to be a running thing with you, getting by on other people's hard work."

Brittany scowled as Adrain caught her leg. "Tough words from someone who has never been hardcore champ." Brittany said as she would use her new position to raise both her arms over her head. Brittany would then try to slam both her fists down into Adrian's back for a double axe handle. "Oh, and don't worry. I will make sure i leave you in the same condition i did in our last fight. Beaten, broken, and hardly able to walk."

"Nggh!" Adrian grunted as she felt Brittany's arms smash into her back, dropping the former cosplayer down to one knee, but Adrian still wasn't letting go of The Viper's leg, even after that. "Not happening." She growled out before she twisted her body down to the ground, trying to jerk and twist the Hardcore champion's leg with her in a Dragon Screw. Somewhat going against the standard brawl etiquette but going after the leg was still a legit strategy, and with all of Brittany's taunts: had the extra ironic catharsis factor to it.
