Eliza was thankful that her legs were powerful like that, again some people just mistook Ms Harenwood to be a simple aristocratic dancer. But that wasn't the case, least not any more. Now Eliza was much, much more competent. She had proved as much in her return match where she soundly defeated Kira Tenshin, somewhat making it up for her having the embarrassment of being the first to go in the Tension battle royale.

Still though the dancing passion knew that if Valyn was taller and weighed more then that move might have been impossible to pull off, unless Eliza had rushed right at him from the ropes and used that momentum to take him for a ride. But considering the situation Eliza mentally praised herself for being able to execute the move.

Eliza had grunted out upon landing after the move, this sparring was great even if she was a bit tired. Still though Ms Harenwood would keep going till she reckoned it was time to give it a rest, after all sparring did hurt. And Eliza wasn't sure when her next match was due, she might even moonlight at friction for all she knew.

Looking at Valyn she saw he was down on the ground, no doubt the sudden reversal hadn't been expected by him. Seeking to try and take advantage of this the young woman tried to move close to her sparring partner and try to cinch in a sleeper hold, but her arms were a bit sweaty and so her grip might not be as secure as she'd like.

Valyn was glad that he had kept himself relaxed and had taken the fall as well as he could, granted it still hurt. He let out a breath as he looked up to the ceiling, he should of been expecting the counter but he hadn't and he had paid the price. Still, he was giving as good as he got in this spar and he wasn't any were near done yet.

He was moving up when he felt arms start to slide around his neck. He instantly dropped his chin and head blocking her from getting the sleeper hold in tight. HE put his arms up to hers aiming to pull them down. He also started to move back to his feet, trying to get back to a vertical position.

Eliza was thinking that there might be more to Valyn than met the eye, he certainly knew what he was doing. Quite a few guys here in tension were lacking in skill, although Eliza wasn't one to point out people in particular in regards to that. After all everyone could become better at something given enough time and effort, Eliza had learned that during the holidays.

Still even though Eliza could apply submissions with a good degree of aptitude, thanks in part to her natural grace and agility honed through years of dancing training. Her upper body strength, while no doubt improved since her debut here still was weaker in comparison to her beautiful legs.

The dancing passion clicked her tongue in annoyance, regretting the fact that she hadn't hit the weights recently. Eliza could perform handstands and even walk a short distance on her hands thanks to her poise and balance. But still Valyn was digging in deep, and getting himself back up while at the same time getting her grip around his neck loose. Still though Valyn's arms grabbing hers meant that she might not be able to get herself free from whatever he might plan next.

Valyn moved up with Eliza getting up to his feet, glad that he had the instinct to of quickly blocked that move. Now that he had her, he knew it was time to capitalize again before she caught him with something else. He, was really starting to respect Eliza even more, she was such a strong competitor that he would like to fight to fight with her again, or even just see her outside the ring.

Quickly refocusing to the task at hand he would pull one of her arms down and over shoulder while simultaneously stepping back and pulling off a judo toss. If this connects he would keep a hold of of her arm and would get ready for his next move.

He'd quickly move to the side of her body dropping to the floor sliding real close to her. One leg would go over neck, while one would go over chest and he'd pull back on her arm with both hands trapping her in an armbar.

Eliza's grapple game was her secondary thing so to speak, it had been strikes that were her main forte. Granted she had improved in the field, her submissions were something that she could always rely on. But powerhousing wasn't something she was good at, namely because her opponents who were male were usually bigger and stronger. So in her mind there wasn't much point in trying to develop something she couldn't use much.

And the dancing passion was now starting to perhaps regret that decision, Valyn's upper body strength was better than Eliza's. Dancing didn't require much from the hands aside from balance and fancy gestures, and maybe a handstand here and there. Yes it seemed that Valyn was more adept than he let on, how did a guy with this talent slip through the net?!

Eliza grunted out as she was flipped onto her back, she had heard about Judo before but didn't dabble in it due to not fitting her style of fighting. And no sooner had Ms Harenwood hit the mat Valyn had moved swiftly into an armbar submission, Eliza was thankful her legs weren't being targeted. Her lower limbs were her life, taking insurance out on them was vital. But still the move was going to hurt and Eliza felt the pain in it. Shooting right through her upper limb, Eliza pondered quickly what to do next.

Seeing as how this had just been a spar and Eliza had been rather puffed out from it, the dancing passion figured it best to cut her losses here. And the young woman quickly grimaced and started tapping Valyn's leg while saying "Ngh! Okay you got me!!"

Valyn let out a soft breath quickly releasing Eliza's arm and moving his legs from her body letting out a deep breath laying on his back for a second. He was smiling a bit, it had been a great match up and Eliza had been an amazing competitor. This felt like what he had came here for, competition and fun. He closed his eyes images started playing in his mind, of a life once lived he quickly opened them pressing them into the back of his mind.

He moved up onto his butt taking a breath looking at Eliza with a smile running his hand through his hair. He moved up onto his feet offering his hand to the girl to help her up. "Thank you, for the amazing spar I haven't had that much fun in a long time. I hope we can actually meet in the ring one day for a real match. I also hope maybe we can see each other outside of the ring sometime." He was smiling a genuine smile his eyes were bright and happy.

Upon being released from Valyn's armbar Eliza quickly shook her formerly held arm, just to make sure there was still feeling in it. Granted it wasn't her leg that had been targeted, so she wasn't as worried. Still when you had a badly injured arm you realised you took most conventional things for granted.

Still though the spar had prompted Eliza to take note of a couple things, perhaps she might want to improve her upper body strength. She had improved in submissions and strikes to be sure, but still if Eliza could get a few power moves under her belt. Then maybe she could increase her win record.

Smiling Eliza accepted Valyn's hand up with the one that had not been held in that armbar, Ms Harenwood had been thankful for it. After all there would have been some people who would have been content to just stand high and gloat about their victory, it was good to have sportsmanship.

"Yes it was quite enjoyable Mr Valyn, although I expect to be busy in preparation for my next match. But maybe....." Eliza said. She had of course been busy sparring and hadn't done much interaction with others outside, still casual socialising wasn't Eliza's thing per se. She was polite sure, but her rich upbringing meant Ms Harenwood had little history of such a thing. Formal affairs were more her thing.

Still though there had been something gnawing at Eliza, since she had met Valyn in fact. Better get out the now, Eliza made her way to the ropes to get out of the ring as she said to him "I should tell you, about the major players here in Tension. Since you've been away and all that, just in case you want to make a name for yourself here. A biker gang called the Valkyries have taken up residence, don't let the angelic name fool you. They are nasty and are devils. There's also a girl here called Ninjette, I've heard she's good in the ring. And there's a group called the United Kingdom Elite, they are lead by Ryan Knight. Tell him your a friend of mine if you meet him, he'll help you out if you need it. Who else....Oh yes there's Killer King and his crew, they are the worst out the lot. I'd advise you just stay clear of them Mr Valyn."

Eliza would then smile as she leaned against the wall, saying "And if you ever need a tag partner in the ring I'll be glad to give you a hand."

Valyn watches as Eliza walks out of the ring and follows suit heading out, though his eyes stayed on her listening intently as she spoke. He was filing all the information away in his head. He had a very good memory and wouldn't be forgetting this information any time soon. Though he was quite glad that Eliza was telling him all of this now or he'd be finding this all out by himself and quite possibly the hard way.

He hoped he avoided the two gangs she was talking about, it would make keeping a low profile more complicated and that was not something he needed. IF it came to it...he could end them but it wasn't a route he wanted to take that life was dead and buried some where in California. He was glad to here that there was a few good people here as well and that he had ran into one of them. It made things a little bit better.

He looked to her smiling and dipped his head in appreciation to her "I thank you Eliza and if you ever need anyone please don't hesitate to ask me, I'll be more than happy to help you out." He rotated his shoulders and rubbed them a bit looking at her. "I think a nice long shower and some rest is in order after that match."

Eliza had been thankful that she gone up against Valyn, it had helped show to her that she still had some flaws in her gameplan. Flaws that would need to be ironed out, she made a mental note that she would need to get this seen to. Of course Eliza doubted she'd be able to do powerbombs, still a DDT and maybe a German suplex would suffice.

Still though it was time to call it a day, Eliza had worked up quite an effort to say the least. Better that she had, Eliza and her family weren't the type to sit on their laurels. Well the old folks were, but they had good right to she supposed.

Eliza moved to her CD player, making sure to carry it with her to the female locker room. Ms Harenwood wasn't one to use recent technology, a regretful thing due to her past upbringing as a noble. As she moved into the female locker room Eliza would give a nod of the head and a smile to him saying "That does sound ideal, take care My Valyn. I believe a man with your talent can go far in this place." with that she left into the womens locker room to get changed and depart for home.

He smiled as she left letting out a soft sigh, he had some stuff to work on that was for sure, but he was satisfied with his performance all in all this time. He ran his hand through his hair again feeling the slick sweat and grinned a bit, glad to have had such a fun challenge. He would continue to work to get better and would continue to to expand his skill set.

With that all in mind he turned and went to the mens locker room to get changed and head for home.
