Eliza knew that Valyn probably wasn't going to just let her lie there, it wasn't how that stuff worked in the ring. But Ms Harenwood knew that she just needed to get one good move in, and then Eliza would start dictating the pace of the battle. One chance and find a weakspot in her opponent, everybody had one.

The dancing passion had made it to the ropes, and was on her knees. Eliza was about to try and get her bearings and stand back up, but Valyn was rushing right at her. And smashed his legs into her left side with his baseball slide, earning a loud yelp from Eliza. It moved her too close to the ropes and nearly out the damm ring, her legs nearly slid past the bottom rope. Leaving her dangling somewhat, like a child bent over a person's knee with her rear end hanging outside the ring.

"W-whoa!!" Eliza yelled out, she then moved out the ring and held her hands up to signify a time out.

"Okay hang on, let me just back in the ring first. You get back to your corner and we'll try this again, it's just a spar after all no need to get out and start smashing me into the treadmills." Eliza said with a small chuckle at her own joke, with that in mind the dancing passion moved on the outside of the ring to get herself back into her corner. Surely Valyn could oblige her with this.

Valyn smiles nodding as he steps back towards his corner "You're right, this is just a spar no reason to go crazy about this." He smiles as he begins stretching out again as he waited for her to get back in the ring.

He took some deep breaths running what had already happened in the match through his head. It had been pretty quick but it was enough to give him some insight in to his opponent. She was quick, with powerful legs and was willing to take risks. He was fine with the speed, he wasn't a powerhouse and moved fast himself, he just had to be careful that she didn't get to much momentum and run wild.

Eliza was thankful that Valyn was willing to comply with her here in a nice manner, she had of course heard the stories of people like Killer King. Guys who were black knights of the foulest sort, who's bad reputation and name was rightly earned. Still it was nice to have some common manners in a whacky business like Tension.

Moreover this brief break allowed Eliza to take stock of what she had seen from Valyn at this point. The guy was able to keep up with Eliza, something that few of her opponents had demonstrated in battle. Plus he seemed to take calculated movements, perhaps it was time for Eliza to adjust her tactics. In battle she'd usually favour swift leg strikes, to whittle away at her opponent. But Ms Harenwood had of course expanded her array of moves since her debut.

Now it was time to try something that Eliza wasn't too accustomed to, once Eliza had gotten back into the ring she had done some light stretching. Keeping silent as she considered the idea in her head, after giving a nod to Valyn Eliza edged forth and outstretched her hands to offer a lockup. It wasn't something she usually went for, considering her opponents were usually bigger than her. But still this was a spar, so it meant trying new things.

Valyn took advantage of the brief respite, as he calmed his breathing down and let his body relax. He watched his opponent, considering what was going to happen next. He was curious on how his opponent would precede and if she was going to change up her strategy.

He moved torwards her a little surprised as she put both hands out for a lockup. It was definitely unexpected but he would move forward taking her hands in his. All things considering, they were both the same height and she might even have a weight advantage on him. If she pushed forward she'd start to overpower Valyn.

Eliza wasn't really quite sure what she'd do from here, a lock up hadn't been a thing in her usual moveset. Considering that of course her opponents were often taller and heavier than the dancing passion, it hadn't made much sense for Eliza to try. Not since her moves were often fast and dynamic, with a flair that came with years of dancing lessons. But still sparring was also a bit of a learning process.

With that in mind Eliza had grounded herself, flexing the hard muscles that were concealed under her smooth legs and their skin. Watching several matches had meant that Ms Harenwood knew the theory behind it, she just never had much of a reason to actually use lockups in actual competition.

But still Eliza believed she was performing rather well for her first attempt, her main strength was in her lower body. That much was certain, but still this wasn't too bad. Eliza could feel herself gain some leeway at this juncture, Ms Harenwood would continue to try and press this. To see how far she could go with this, until Valyn came up with something to try and deal with it.

Valyn, didn't generally believe in using brute strength, it was just not something he used, he'd preferred speed and technique to strength. Though at this moment, he could of used with a little bit of extra strength as he felt the powerful legs of Eliza pressing him back. It was impressive, feeling the strength of such a lithe looking girl.

He knew, though it was time to act and turn the tables of this fight and he had a good idea of what to do. With that he took a breath and fell backwards pulling his opponent in. He would slam his foot into her stomach and send her sailing over him, onto her back.

The move could backfire if she stopped it he would be on his back and he wouldn't have a lot of options at that point. Still though he was going for broke and wanted to make sure Eliza was going to have a tough spar on her hands.

Eliza was convinced she was performing quite well at this, looking at Valyn now he was about the same height as Clyde Gastin. A man that Ms Harenwood had gone up against in the past, and it was easily one of the best matches that she had in her career thus far. Some people held the view that all the guys in tension were big and huge, not all were. The world was vast, hell Eliza even heard that a movie star was wrestling in tension.

But still Eliza hadn't been sure where she would have gone from here, and to be fair Eliza was going to pay the price in doing so. Valyn stuck his leg into her gut, and then leaned back. It was a monkey flip, sending Eliza right over him.

"Wah!" Eliza shouted out, her eyes went wide as she got took for a loop. The young woman landed on her back with a thud, Eliza winced at the impact. But decided that she needed to try and do something about this, before Valyn got any ideas. With that in mind Eliza tried to tilt her body so she lay on her belly, and then try to wrap her arm around Valyn's neck for a dragon sleeper attempt.

Valyn felt his foot bury into her gut as he sent the girl flying over to him hearing the satisfying thud of her body landing on the mat. HE let out a soft breath, he hadn't used such a move much but he was glad that he had kept it in his repertoire. He knew he had to keep up the attack though so he quickly went to lean up and get to his feet.

He felt the arm wrap around his head a little to late as the girl cinched in the dragon sleeper pulling his head into her side as she started to cut off his air supply. His hands reached up trying to grab a hold of her arms to no avail. HE tried to calm his breathing down as he formulated a strategy though at the moment he was stuck.

Eliza had believed that her ground game had improved quite significantly over the course of her wrestling career, at first she did simple things like boston crabs and headscissors. But she learned to further her mastery of her lithe and agile frame, and sometimes knew that to keep the flaming passion one had to temper it. Else it would blaze out of control until it blew out, hence the reason behind the slow submissions.

Ms Harenwood grunted as she kept hold of the dragon sleeper over Valyn, most people didn't expect Eliza to be so handy with her hands. Seeing as how everything about her scream ballet battler, so a few people were surprised at how deft she had been wit them. Although growing up Eliza had also taken self defence classes, her parents wanting to make sure their child could handle herself. Keeping her body low on her belly, Ms Harenwood was going to try and keep dragon sleeper applied as best she could. She saw no reason to try and alter it right now, now was the time to sit and wait.

Valyn was a little surprised at well she had synched in the dragon sleeper hold, and this move would slowly sap his strength. He was doing his best to make some wiggle room in her arms but at the moment it was to no avail. His ground work wasn't terrible but it obviously wasn't his best.

He had to do something so he bridged out his legs and pushed his body up, trying to move to his feet, while forcing Eliza to either let go of the hold, or move to her feet as well to keep it locked in.
