Don't know if anyone heard, but Buddy Landel Passed away apparently.

The man who "broke a thousand guitars but never drew a dime" is back in TNA, and everyone was glad to see him from the video as far as I have seen. Except for Austin Aries, who had no fucks to give about JJ.^^

The TNA contracts of both Taryn Terrell and Awesome Kong expire as of this weekend and both are scheduled to finish up with the company at tonight's Slammiversary PPV.

For those keeping track the last week, James Storm, Magnus, Austin Aries, Gunner, Low-Ki, Sam Shaw have all finished up or will finish up with TNA at Slammiversary tonight.

Between this and reports that TNA's backstage workers are having their checks for May held until July, TNA is clearly still in all kinds of trouble.

But they have Billy Corgan!

Are you telling me he's not the savior of professional wrestling!?

TNA has had many temporary saviors. Billy Corgan is just the latest, and he'll need to keep TNA alive a couple extra years to do that.


Also, Kurt Angle says he has a tumor on his neck and will need surgery for it. Hope its not cancerous and that the surgery and recovery go well.

I wish I could say that this is the end for TNA, but every time I do, they manage to stick around a little longer and make me look bad.

If you ordered Slammiversary tonight....PFFT. Who am I kidding, NOBODY orders TNA PPV's. If you streamed it tonight (As I did) then you'll still be wanting your money back.

I can understand why TNA made their first (and probably only) Pay Per View of the year "just another show" mostly devoid of story, since they now have taped shows going up till August, but could it have been that hard to make the matches actually worth watching?


King of the Mountain Match (King of the Mountain Championship)
Jeff Jarrett vs. Matt Hardy vs. Drew Galloway vs. Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode

Just a straight up mess. Bunch of botched spots and really just a confusing clusterfuck of a match. Most of the people in this match had no idea being in there, and with Jeff Jarrett coming back like, 4 days ago, it was obvious he was going to win. Also, they literally just invented a new title "The King of the Mountain Championship" for this match. Is that like, an official new belt? Is it only defended once a year in KOTM matches? Is it going to be the GFW Main Title? Does anybody actually give a shit?

TNA X Division Championship - Triple Threat Match
Tigre Uno (c) vs. DJ Z vs. Manik

Not bad. Basically a bunch of highspots between three guys nobody cares about and that the crowd doesn't really react to. Nothing bad, but nothing special.


EC3 & Tyrus vs. Lashley & Mr. Anderson- Pure filler. Boring and not worth remembering.

Robbie E vs. Jessie Godderz- Also pure filler, only notable for being really really bad.

Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries- Best match of the night by default, but also a decent match up on its own. Good back and forth match with a fun ending, makes it a shame that Austin Aries is done with TNA and leaving.

Bram vs. Matt Morgan- Crap. Basically a very very tame no DQ match. Lotta botches and stalling.

James Storm vs. Magnus- Second best match of the night. Decent and fun hardcore brawl, but knowing that this was the last match either of them will have in TNA (both of them finishing up tonight) pretty much made the match pointless. Couple cool spots, really dumb ending.

Awesome Kong & Brooke vs. The Dollhouse- Decent, run of the mill, nothing bad, but also nothing good.


Commentary was shit. "Pope" D'neiro is worse than Booker T, Josh Mathews is a total tool (something he's proven on Twitter) and Mike Tenay does not care anymore.

Certainly not looking good for TNA. But from the list writen by Tai, only a select view would have had a chance to appear on TV without TNA, so I am always a little confused when people want to see TNA go. It is/was a TV plattform for the second row of wrestlers who would have a hard time to even reach WWE or don´t cut it there anymore, at least in my opinion. Lucha Underground is only now becoming an alternative in the USA, you basically had and still have to pirate NJPW and LU in Europe.

Edit: I love Booker T at the commentary table, did you know that he was a five time champion, part of Harlem Heat, has a top 5 and likes his man, D-Bryan?^^

That may have been Roman Reigns ' best backstage promo yet o.O I'm a little worried >.<
