Abbey Abraxas vs. "Gnarly" Charlie Haines

As Abbey got off Charlie be peeled back his kneepad to check on his knee. That big, ugly surgical scar was there staring back at him. Twice now that thing.... his dumb mistake... led to defeat. He was a speed wrestler with a crap knee and time working against him.

Upon inspection everything else appeared all right. Nothing had swelled up or anything thankfully. "For someone who just got tbeir ass kicked I am all right, thanks." Charlie said. Abbey seemed to have done a 180 on a dime compared to what she was saying during the match. "You probably beat me worse than anyone else I have fought over here, have ya thought about gunning for that title?"

"Naturally." Abbey said with a grin, holding out her hand to help him up. "You may want to work on changing your technique if you have a bum knee though. Or maybe find a nice ice bath and soak in it for a few months." Abbey shrugged. "If you want to wrestle, you've really got to take care of yourself, you know?" She said as she softened her smile.

Charlie shruged with a sigh, accepting the help. "Speed is all I've got, I can work my way around this little, ah setback."

Abbey was right though. Being one dimensional with an exploitable weakness wasn't going to get him anywhere. He didn't care about his own losses but when he teamed with Talia he wanted to win for her. The first choice was working on technique, brushing up on escapes, and sound moves that were harder to reverse. He didn't have to bulk up for it which was a bonus.

Yeah..... there had to be somethung he could do. Hell, he had to for Talia.

"Uh, yeahhh... If you want to be a contender, champ." She said, slapping his shoulder. "I might be rooted in Roman-Greco, but I can still take a flying leap off the ropes if that's what I have to do!" She said with a bright grin on her face.

"Anyway, stay frosty! Thanks for the match!" She said and slipped out of the ring, slapping the hands that were held out as she joyfully walked you the ramp.
