Wrestling with equality (for Caroline)

Jess watched on but wasn't sure what to think. Sure it appeared to be in the early stages but she wasn't sure how to feel. Granted Caroline and Steven were on the same team but she didn't know if she should be vocal or not given who they were against and the surroundings.

Even though Caroline mentioned who's side Lina should be on, Lina wondered to what extent she should, not only with the current situation but with other matters that have been going on with her own life. Still she didn't seem to like the fact that Sion put Caroline in the corner and when it looked like he was going to grab her out and do something it looked like nothing at all happened, and was shocked when Sion got rolled up for a quick pin, though was relieved when Sion broke out of it without much trouble.

After that happened Daisuke told both guys to hold up for a moment. She asked If he still remembers the lessons that was taught to him during the last time she faced him, and the match he had with Kei not too long after that and mentioned she wants to see if he did. Kei heard that statement and looked interested. Sion was not sure what Daisuke was talking about right there and then, but he would remember if if anyone mentioned it. Still he looked like he still wanted to stay in there. Lina showed no signs of saying the two would switch so he remained ready for Steven. Daisuke still looked like she wanted to get in there and teasefully joked with Steven that he should stop playing with boys and dance with a real woman, wanting to give him a reason to want to mix it up with her now instead of later.

The Teenwrestler, hopped right back in and rolled his opponent up for a schoolboy pin but Sion got out of it with not much trouble, breaking out at the count of one. Steven quickly rolled away from Sion and got some distance between the two and he immediately took a wrestler's crouch position with his eyes locked at Sion. However, as Daisuke called out to both of them, Steven relaxed his stance and looked towards Daisuke before turning to look towards Kei.

Steven bit his lower lip nervously at the thought about the matches with Daisuke and Kei but he wanted to live the old days and nodded at the thought of facing his old rival. "Alright then....lets do this" Steven said as he backed off a bit, if Sion wanted to let Daisuke take this dance with Steven.

Sion glanced back at Daisuke and asked him if she was sure about it. Daisuke nodded and Lina also appeared to be in favour of it and grinned when she saw the two tagging. Dai knew Steven would be alright but she still felt like saying what she did. She didn't know if Caroline would know what was meant by what she said but it didn't bother her either way.

With a smirk Kei tells Steven "You're not going to get disqualified this time but still try not to be a dick." When Sion got out of the ring he and Kei shared somewhat of an awkward stare, remembering what happened when things started but they quickly dropped it. Sion kind of had a feeling what his mother was trying to do but he tried not to think about it.

Jesse would tease Steven by telling Daisuke "Don't kick 'em in the balls Dai, that's for me to do later if he misbehaves" which she said with an obviously joking tone.

Caroline wasn't sure what was going on in the ring right now, or why Steven had apparently allowed Sion and Daisuke to trade places. Even though she was an avid watcher of AFW matches, she hadn't seen too many of Kei's or Steven's yet, so she wasn't sure exactly what friendly or hostile rivalries had existed between these wrestlers in the past. Despite her poor senses, though, she had the intuition to realize that a rivalry of some sort was being rekindled between Steven and Daisuke. Hopefully things wouldn't get too heated in the ring, as she would hate to see this training exercise leave lasting resentment between people.

For now, Caroline would just stand at the ready, gripping the top rope tightly as she waited for her turn to wrestle again. It was hard to keep track of anything happening with her eyes, however. Steven and Daisuke were barely visible, with only the blue and red sight of the former's wrestling trunks to guide her. Over at the opposite corner, Sion was too far away for her to even know if he was there, and she didn't have track of any other onlookers. As she had feared, her blindness would make her a sitting duck if anyone decided to play dirty, which was possible since the people in this match were giving it their all. Even Lina might be tempted to intervene somehow, since Sion had been her client for much longer than Caroline, and some rough history existed between the two.

Steven was a bit embarrassed, all the memories flashed between his very eyes as he remembered all the matches with Daisuke and his small moment of madness which lead to other gruesome fights with Kei. Although, that was all water under the bridge and today was about Caroline and her challenge, Steven was just helping a new wrestler find her feet and this was not about Steven and Daisuke.

The teenwrestler shrugged and laughed sarcastically when Daisuke teased him a bit "Haha- I wont be...." he winked back as he took up a wrestlers crouch and started to circle his opponent, after a moment of feeling each other out from afar the teen tried to lunge in towards his opponent for a classic collar and elbow grapple battle to start off the bout. He figured a test of strength would be the perfect way to see how the two have improved during their old sparring sessions. "Ngh- Jesse!!" he said feeling a bit awkward when she mentioned that "You're supposed to be on MY side" he grunted as he tried to push Dai back into the corner.

Jesse giggled when Seven questioned what side she was on an told him. "I am on your side. Behave and we can be at each other's sides later." Daisuke chuckles at Jesse's suggestiveness. "Keep it clean for now you two." she commented until she got pushed back with the lock up, though she went o push back as well, and maybe bring a knee up to his stomach if positioning allowed for it.

As this went on Kayura moved a bit closer to where Caroline was and pokes her on the leg to get her attention. She tells her that she won't interfere but will call stuff out for her if she wants, since her actual manager is across the ring for this one.

Steven was caught in some more moment of awkwardness when Jesse mentioned more sexual innuendos. That comment caused the teenwrestler to lose his concentration a bit allowing for him to be pushed back by Daisuke, who also snuck a knee up into his belly to wind him out and double him over infront of her.

"Uuuggh....c-cheap shot" Steven groaned out as he staggered back, his arms wrapped around his midsection as he tried to stagger back into his corner.

Daisuke saw Steven trying to move back to where Caroline was but Daisuke would have none of that and grabbed him by the hair "Going somewhere?" to keep him close before drilling him across the upper part of his face with a fist. She would still try to keep control of the hair and if she did she would give him a headbutt before following up with a suplex.

She was able to do all of that she would shake her head a bit, to try to shake off the recoil effect of the headbutt, but she still looked to be in the driver's seat...for now.

That knee shot took the wind out of the teenwrestler, he was trying to back up into his corner and hopefully get Caroline to tag herself in, however Daisuke was eager to keep the fight with Steven as she went forward to grab his hair and pull him towards her, to slam her fist into his face "Oowwww" he grunted, trying to pull away but she still had a fistfull of his short hair. "Ahh damnit, let go of the hair you catfigh-OOOWWWW" his taunt cut short as she whacked her head against his.

Steven was seeing stars now, dazed from that impact he was completely defenseless when Daisuke slammed him down onto the ring canvas in a suplex.

Caroline panicked when she felt someone poking her leg, and had already raised the same one to stomp the potential attacker in the face when she realized who it was, and what her intentions were. Apologizing profusely, she retracted her boot and heard Kayura out.

“I would really appreciate the help. Thanks for offering, Kayura,” Caroline responded with a friendly smile, but her attention quickly got drawn back to the ring when she heard Steven's pained cries. Her body trembled as she didn't know what she could do to help her distressed teammate. Should she just call out to him and let him know she was ready to tag in? Offer words of encouragement? Maybe she'd even take a cheap shot at Daisuke if she got close enough; she didn't like to cheat but would do anything to help her new friend. It would be opening Pandora's box since the married couple could do the same to her, but Jesse had already given Caroline some experience with rough spars, so she believed she could handle it.

For now, she stayed silent, too shy to speak up, but the white knuckle grip she had on the top rope and her rapid, nervous breaths all said she was ready to do or die at a moment's notice.
