Wrestling with equality (for Caroline)

Jesse didn't notice the way Caroline was coming in until it was too late and groaned a bit when Caroline went low on her. The students looked amazed as they saw Caroline take it to Jesse, even with the fierce lockup and the headbutt and jawbreaker. Wes watched on as everyone else was getting into this. Jesse was a bit dazed from her chin connecting with Caroline's head and didn't see Caroline going for the goggles, at least not right away.

When she could tell what was going on she noticed Caroline looking for the goggles, but Jesse couldn't tell where they were either, for with how Caroline was sitting she was behind them. When one of the students told her that she had to stand up and reach back Jesse would grab her and arm drag takedown Caroline away from the corner. She then goes to grab hold of her as she moves down closer to her, smashing Caroline's face against one of her feet before holding her in a way so they were looking at a number of the group and gives her a slow, but somewhat seductive looking face lick.


After letting her go she would kick her in the butt a few time to get her to move a bit before pulling her up and attempting to lock her in a Katahajime. Jesse hasn't done this move before in a match, but has practiced it once and figured now might be a good time to try it out for real, or as real as things were getting anyway. She knew Caroline wouldn't go quietly as she was trying to get her into it as they were near the ropes. She could feel that she was close to locking it in.

Before Caroline could search the correct spot for her goggles, she gasped as one of her arms was seized by both of Jesse’s, who flipped the girl over her shoulders and onto the mat on her back. She tried to get up as quickly as she could, but Jesse was too fast, and Caroline grunted loudly as one of Jesse’s boots smashed her face. She was probably going to have some bruises there after this fight, if not something worse.

Suddenly, the tenor of the fight changed as Jesse slowed down her assault, merely holding Caroline up in a sitting position. Then, she felt Jesse’s hot breath on her face, and something warm and slimy started slithering up her cheek. Baffled at first, Caroline blushed fiercely when she realized what was happening.

“W-what are…stop that…mmnh!” Caroline whimpered as a chill ran down her spine. Since she had been raised by overprotective parents, the young girl had never been allowed to date or experience even the most vaguely erotic sensations before now. At present, she had no frame of reference to explain how Jesse’s seductive gesture felt to her. It was embarrassing and creepy, but Caroline couldn’t deny that the rush she gained from letting Jesse taste her up was exhilarating. The fact that she didn’t struggle too much, even though Jesse didn’t have her locked down or anything, was very telling. The audience loved it too, with many laughing and making catcalls, though a couple of kind souls started chewing Jesse out over the depraved tactic.

Things went back to normal as Jesse brought one of Caroline’s arms up to her neck and started coiling her own arms around them, aiming to wrench her neck and arm. Panicking at the thought of being trapped in her first submission hold, especially in front of this crowd, Caroline thrashed around in an attempt to grab the ring ropes with her free arm, using the noise of the nearby students to map out the location of the ring’s edges in her mind. The question was, in this impromptu match, would a rope break save her? It was up to the student that Jesse had turned into the ref. Though, considering it was the same student that had chewed Jesse out for the 5+ second foot choke earlier, Caroline expected him to respect the other standards for wrestling matches as well.

Even though with the type of 'match' they were having she technically didn't have to she would let go of Caroline. After backing up a bit and waiting for her to do the same she would go to grab Caroline and try to lock in a similar hold but different in a way. Though it looked like Caroline wasn't going quietly as Jesse found her own back close to where Caroline was a moment ago. "Be a good girl and hold still!" she'd tell her as she tried to lock it in Caroline, which if Caroline had any ring awareness all she'd have to do is just fall back and it would send Jesse through the ropes, but with how Jesse was trying to hold on to her it would be both of them. Jesse knew how close she was to the ropes but the thought of falling through them wasn't coming across her mind.

On the outside of the ring, Wes kept an eye on the action but glanced towards a clock hanging on the wall near by for a quick moment before focusing back on the ring.

Since grabbing the ropes didn't seem to have fazed Jesse for long, Caroline would indeed make to fall out of the ring with her captor in tow. Pushing with the lower half of her body, Caroline moved the both of them underneath the lower ring rope, causing them to tumble out of the ring awkwardly together. For a moment, Caroline worried that the students might try to gang up on her while she was out here, but the choke earlier had been an isolated incident, a quick move done out of spite. With Jesse and Caroline now brawling on the floor around the ring, none of the students would risk insulting Jesse's wrestling skills by lending her a hand openly. For that matter, Caroline didn't expect to receive any help, either, so she scuttled onto her hands and knees and tried to pull herself up to her feet before Jesse.

When she had finally risen, assuming she didn't fall under attack sooner, Caroline would look to her side to reacquaint herself with what her opponent was up to. With how bad her eyes were, it was extremely difficult for her peripheral senses to keep tabs on her opponent. In fact, she was almost helpless to attack until Jesse actually moved again, since that would cause her form to shift in Caroline's blurry vision.

It took Jesse a bit to get back to her feet as well after falling to the outside. The rest of the students moved back, giving the two of them space. When Jesse got back up she was behind Caroline, but not facing her. When she felt her back making contact with Caroline's as she backed up a couple of steps she'd turn around and would try to quickly grab hold of Caroline. Taking a few a few running steps if she did manage to grab her in time she would run Caroline towards part of the wall, where there was a ladder leaning against it.

As the two moved, one of the students that was on the opposite side of the ring would would place something in the corner of the ring before joining the rest of the crowd.

Even as Caroline's near useless eyes scanned her surroundings, it would be her sense of touch to warn her of Jesse's position as the woman seized her head and torso from behind. The girl felt her opponent propel her forward, and since her eyes were so bad, she didn't even see the ladder coming until she was inches away from being rammed into it. She couldn't even brace herself for impact, let alone try to stop it, and yelled loudly as the rungs of the ladder struck segments of her head and chest, sending a nauseating shock through her system. Her forehead in particular had been scrapped along one of the rungs, and Caroline's heartbeat quickened as she felt warm liquid trickle down her face. She was bleeding, and this was just a spar! What could she expect in a real match?!

Despite her fear and her pain, Caroline managed to regain her posture after being slumped against the ladder for a couple of seconds. If Jesse wasn't too quick to continue her attack, Caroline would wind an elbow up and throw it into her side, hoping to catch Jesse in the ribs. She had enough spatial awareness to know that the woman was there, but it was tough to predict whether or not her exact target would be hit. Then, she would reach up with the same arm to grab the back of Jesse's head, grasping her hair as she thrust the woman's head into the wall.

Everyone else kept their distance as things were taken up a notch due to what Jesse just did and the end result of that ‘maneuver.’ Wes noticed the blood on Caroline’s face and he wondered how much longer he should allow this to go on. He did get close enough to ask her if she was okay and if she could continue, though Jesse was closing back in on Caroline so he stepped back a bit more. When Jesse came in and went to grab hold of her again, only to be thrown against the wall.


There was a mixture of confusion, concern, as well as excitement amongst the rest of the students that were watching. None of them expected things to be where they are now between the two and with Caroline bleeding there we doubts that this would go on for much longer, but the fact that both of them were still going was making things interesting to watch. It would be hard to say if things would have gotten this far if Kei was there, given why and how the two started the ‘fight’ here. At the same time she knew sometimes a good beat down fueled by something between two people was health, as well as a good learning experience. Was this one of those times? Wes couldn’t even answer that question and he hoped the two would tire themselves out or at least take it back to the ring. He looked up at the clock on the wall one more time moments after Jesse made contact with the wall.

Like the rest of the students, Caroline was becoming exponentially more worried as this fight dragged on. The appearance of fresh blood was a bad omen to her, a sign of competitive hostility becoming downright dangerous. She was scared to go on and was about to confirm that Wes should cut things short...except Jesse didn't want to stop. Frustrated, Caroline pulled Jesse's head back again to slam it into the wall one more time before shoving Jesse aside and moving away. She didn't like the hardcore tone that their fight was taking, and she wanted to stop it. Keeping a close eye on Jesse's last known position, Caroline slowly shuffled backwards, placing an arm behind her to feel around for the edges of the ring. If she could get back inside, maybe Jesse would knock off the especially rough stuff and go back to fighting her in a relatively sane manner...maybe.

Unlike Caroline, Jesse avoided behind busted up while on the outside as she checked her face when Caroline backed away from her. Shortly after Caroline got back in the ring, the student that choked her told her to look down and to her left. If she did and felt around she would find the object that he placed in the ring during the short time the two were on the floor. However if she went right and to the corner that is where the goggles would be. Jesse got back up and looked for Caroline, and after a few seconds found her, already back in the ring. If Caroline went right Jesse would make a mad dash to try to cut her off, but if she moved left or stayed still Jesse would reenter at a normal pace, which if she did Caroline would have an opening to cut her off and gain the upper hand.

When Caroline heard a voice tipping her off to an object sitting in the leftmost corner, Caroline assumed it to be the location of her goggles and dashed in the indicated direction to grab them. Her hopes were dashed when she felt her hand touching cold metal instead – a steel chain that had been left for Caroline's use. The girl had a secret admirer in the audience, something she was grateful for, but did they really expect her to resort to weapon use in her first spar?! No, Caroline couldn't do this. From the moment Caroline got bloodied, this fight had already gone too far, and the chain in her hand could do worse to Jesse if it hit her hard enough. What on Earth would Jesse do in retaliation? This escalation had to stop before someone got hurt, even if it meant a disappointing forfeit on her part.

“Jesse...enough,” Caroline tried to talk Jesse down as she reentered the ring. She threw the chain on the ground, disgusted with herself and the others that it had ever found its way into her hands. “This has gone far enough. You threw me into a ladder, and now...” Caroline trailed off as she dabbed a hand on her forehead and extended her palm out to display the crimson stain that it had picked up from touching the gash on her forehead. Some part of her was worried that she was simply a coward for throwing in the towel like this, but Caroline suppressed the fear. There was more at stake here than what little pride she had, and Caroline didn't want to get hurt. Worse still, she didn't want to hurt Jesse in self-defense. For the moment, she stood her ground, heart hammering in her chest as she waited for Jesse, Wes, or anyone else nearby to give a reply to the white flag she had raised.
