Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Valley's knee found a warm, soft knew home in Haruka's stomach, and the results were both immediate and immensely satisfying. The crowds roar only added fuel to Valley's fire - it felt great to have those cheers be on her side again, to get some appreciation for all the effort and pain. She didn't need the applause, but she wanted it. She craved it. And now, she finally had a chance to earn it all back.
Haruka was down and gasping, vulnerable for a golden moment, and Valley wasn't going to let it go to waste. She dropped down, right on her butt, sitting before Haruka's feet. A quick pull on the ankles, a little threading with their legs, and the move would be secured - she was going for a figure-four leglock, a nice way to soften those lethal weapons and set up for something far more potent.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Haruka might have guessed that the follow up to the knee would be just as painful but thinking it and stopping it were two completely different things. Sure enough Haruka's legs were twisted into a painful figure four leg lock. Pain surged through her leg and Haruka gave a brief cry of pain. Her hands formed fists and she gritted her teeth. Part of her wanted to tap right there.
But part of her wanted to try and ride it out. The ropes were so very far away and Haruka tried to scoot the entwined wrestling pair towards them, with little progress. Haruka lay back. It looked like all she could do was try and hold on for as long as she could, squirming in pain. Haruka took heart in the fact that a phoenix must rise from the ashes. That didn't stop the pain, though.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Valley had never gotten a submission with the leglock before, but then, it wasn't a usual move in her repetoire. Most of the time she went for high-flying moves as the finisher, but this was an exceptional sort of match. She had no problem ending it in an exceptional sort of way.
That would all depend on Haruka, though, and she seemed to still have some fight left in her weary bones. Valley was surprised when she felt her body get draged along the canvas, but she planted her elbows down and fought soon after, engaging in a little tug of war with their legs as the rope. She could slow Haruka down, but she couldn't stop her - after just under a minute of frantic struggling, she reached the rope and grabbed hold, forcing Valley to let go.
"So, no tapping, huh?" She pulled her legs out and started to stand back up, grabbing Haruka by the wrist and pulling her up as well as she went.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Haruka was surprised she managed to dig her way to the rope. Beyond happy, but surprised. The road there was long and arduous and there would be new torments to come, do doubt. She was ready to breathe a sigh of relief and rest against the ropes, but it didn't appear as if Valley had the same idea.
"I will give you everything I can..." the reply was whispered and might have been lost among the noises of the arena. Haruka was hauled up to her feet rather roughly. She wobbled for a second before finding her legs. The figure four leg lock had sapped the strength from her leg. And even though she only was off her game for a second, Haruka knew that a second in the ring could be a very long time. She tried to throw together her fighting stance to get herself one more counter, one more ticket to get her back into the fight.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Valley couldn't quite make out what Haruka said over the booming crowd. Frankly, she probably wouldn't ahve been able to hear her if she'd been screaming that top of her lungs, if that was even something she was physically capable of doing. The crowd was reaching a deafening level.
But she could tell the tone. She could see the look in Haruka's eyes, the resolve in her stance. Valley knew all she needed to know from that alone - Haruka was ready for the fight. Ready to end this.
Valley watched as she moved into her fighting stance. Waited, just a moment. Then struck.
She dashed forward, looking like she was going to simply run into Haruka straight on, but ducked right before the impact and turned it into a spear, wanting to plow her down to the mat one last time.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Haruka saw Valley barrel forward and was ready for another clothesline. She ducked down again, preparing to worm her way around it. The only problem was that Valley ducked down as well; even though they collided shoulder to shoulder Haruka came off a lot worse for the wear. The sickening crunch sent her down to the mat.
Haruka looked down at the white mat and prayed to the wrestling gods that her shoulder wasn't dislocated. It didn't feel like it but that might have been the adrenaline talking. The fact that she immediately became a rag doll when hit by the spear also wasn't very encouraging. Haruka groaned as she tried to pick herself up.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Haruka had put up an amazing fight, but Valley could feel the energy leaving her body when the spear connected. It was a dirty hit, and while it hadn't been the most pleasant experience for her shoulder, the former Wrestling Angel seemed to take the worst of it. Drawing this out much longer would be something more in line with a psychotic bitch like Morrigan. Valley just wanted the win, and it was time she took it.
She rolled off Haruka's body and make her way to the turnbuckle, then took a few careful steps up the ropes until she was at the top. Perched. Eyes focused. Ready.
The moment Haruka stood up and turned her way, Valley planned to jump off the turnbuckle with a flip, land on Haruka's shoulders, swing her around with a hurricanrana and drill her hard into the mat for a matchbook pin. One, final, definitive move to end the match and seal the win. A Dragonrana, something she hadn't gone for since her Slamazon days.
There was some risk to it. The spacing was tricky, so she could miss and whiff the whole thing. Haruka could have more energy than Valley expected and turn it into a powerbomb. But it was worth every little chance she had to take just to hear the fan's response if it landed. She had to try.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Haruka got up, slowly, with every muscle ready to scream in revolt. She was feeling groggy and pained and dumb standing in the ring. A massive target might as well have been on her with the crosshairs on her aching head. Valley took off from the turnbuckle like a fighter jet and honed in on the invisible target- Haruka was slung to the mat.
The crowd cheered wildly and it fell on Haruka's deaf ears. She wasn't quite unconscious but she was as close as one could get. Either way she was in no position to put up much of a defense. She didn't even make a motion to get up. It would have been fruitless.

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
It was like wrestling poetry.
Valley flew through the air as her golden hair streamed out behind her and the lights beamed down on her sweat-soaked form. She felt like she could really fly in that moment, just take off into the sky and go all the way to the ceiling. Gravity took hold of her body and pulled her back to the earth, and her timing was spot-on: Haruka's shoulder and her legs seemed to lock into place, like they were made to fit that way. Even though it had been a while since she executed the move, her body knew how to react without a second thought. She jerked back, swung around, and dropped Haruka so hard into the mat that she could have sworn that even the cheap seats were rattling from the crash.
Valley grabbed Haruka's legs and leaned forward, securing the pin. It looked like she wasn't about to kick out - or even move too much - in the near future, but all the same, it wouldn't hurt to take every precaution.
The referee slid in beside them and started the count, and the crowd joined her with their usual chant.
"1...!"

Re: Haruka Date vs. Valley Doll - Back in the Saddle
Haruka's breath was forced. The blonde woman was on top of her and the ref girl was counting down. Haruka could not will her body to move and the realization sunk in. She was going to lose her debut. The weight of the woman on top of her felt like so much more.
Two!!!
The crowd was chanting along. It felt humiliating for the entire crowd to know that you were doomed and to actively cheer it on. And even more humiliating to know that she could do nothing about it. Haruka closed her eyes and tried to wish everything away.
Three!!!
She opened her eyes. It looked like she wasn't going to get her wish. All she could do was sigh and hoped the blonde woman would get off her.
