Yamato Ishii vs Abbey Abraxas

Yamato was relieved to say the least when Abbey released his arm. But in retrospect, it probably wasn't a good idea to try to drag her dead weight with him for as long as he had. Because of that extra effort on his part, the armbar had been locked in long enough to serve its purpose. His arm wasn't broken, but the pain inflicted was most likely going to last through the rest of this match.

"Sorry about that. Your face wasn't close enough to hit, so I just had to make due." he replied jokingly, chuckling as he stood back up in spite of the pain in his limb.

With the use of his arm now limited, he knew it would be challenging to figure out a way to fight. But then again, Yamato wasn't one to plan things out very carefully anyway. So he decided to just run straight toward Abbey, extending his healthy arm as he attempted to clothesline the blonde.

"So that's how it is, is it?" She said with a wry smile. She'd have to remember that he had no problem hitting her in her pretty face, even if she may have suggested it. Abbey hopped up, a little slower than she would have liked, and caught Yamato's clothesline right in her big chest, dropping her right back down to the mat with a thud.

'Guuh! Dammit!"

Luck seemed to be on Yamato's side for the moment as his clothesline took Abbey down! But considering how skilled she seemed to be, he highly doubted that alone would be enough to secure a pin.

So he instead decided to try to pay Abbey back for the armbar she'd held him in moments ago. Moving to her legs, Yamato would try to wrap his good arm around her right leg, before attempting to turn her over onto her stomach to lock in a single leg crab.

"Ready to give up yet?" he'd ask while wrenching back on the hold. Yamato was no submissions expert by any means, but felt pretty confident he could use a simple hold like this fairly effectively.

Abbey cursed herself as the clothesline took her down. Yamato was quick with the execution and turned Abbey around, putting her in a single leg. That was a smart move, if he hadn't attacked, she would have probably have forced some offense of her own. Unfortunately now she was slapping the mat as he stretched her leg.

"Rrrrrgh!"

Abbey shook her head. "I'm not giving up to a damn single leg! Not in your wildest dreams!" Abbey planted her palms firmly on the mat and shifted her body, curling her shoulder under her body and turning herself partially. She then put her free foot up on Yamato's butt and with a grunt, shoved as hard as she could to try and force the boy off her.

"Oh yeah? We'll see about that!" Yamato replied, continuing to wrench on her leg and stretch it back. He had the blonde grounded now, and didn't have to worry about protecting his arm for the moment. It was a good position for him.

But Abbey was resilient, and wasn't about to submit so easily! Within moments Yamato felt his opponent's foot press against his butt, and was suddenly pushed forward, forcing him to release her leg.

Though he stumbled a few steps, Yamato quickly regained his balance and turned back to face Abbey. "Dammit…" he muttered, a tad frustrated he hadn't been able to put her away, though it wasn't all that surprising considering how strong she seemed to be. Deciding not to rush in and attack for the moment, he instead waited to see what Abbey would do next.

Abbey huffed as she shoved Yamato away from her and curled her leg underneath her to protect it. She rubbed it for a second as Yamato hopped away and eyed her. Abbey flashed him a smiled and then hopped to her hands and knees, getting up in a track stance and looking at him with a gleam in her eye as she lowered her butt and shot at him, trying to grab one of his legs and yank him off his feet. If he wanted to see leg work, she'd show him leg work!

Yamato watched his opponent carefully as she began to get back up, bending his knees a bit in preparation to move wherever he needed to. But as Abbey got to her hands and knees, Yamato didn't immediately recognize the stance. At first glance, it only looked like she was simply beginning to pull herself back to a vertical base. The poor fool.

He had made a simple error in observation, but it was about to cost him. Abbey suddenly launched toward the unsuspecting Yamato like a speeding bullet, catching him by surprise before he could react as she took one of his legs out from under him and sent the young man crashing down onto his back! "What the-- Guh!" he briefly gasped out as he fell back onto the canvas.

"Ok, boyo."

Abbey said as she held onto Yamato's leg. She swung her boy around and clamped her own legs around one of his. She then began to push as she put him in a kneebar submission.

"This is much better than your silly half crab! You were basically like "Hey Abbey, please escape from my hold!" Abbey laughed, even as she tried to put the submission into full and excruciating effect.

As he hit the ground, Abbey wasted no time and wrapped her legs around his to apply a kneebar. "Aaaagggghhh!" he yelled out, writhing around in pain.

Yamato was now realizing it was probably a mistake to use the single leg crab earlier, because now Abbey was determined to show him how to really apply a painful hold to a leg. This was starting to feel like the sparring sessions he'd had with his sister before coming to AFW, and that was definitely a bad sign for Yamato.

"Sh-shut up! I was not!" he barked back in response to her taunt. With his free leg Yamato then lifted up his boot before slamming the heel down toward Abbey's thigh in a manner similar to how he'd escaped her armbar earlier, hoping this kind of tactic would again make her release the hold.

"Ghhh!"

Abbey grunted as his thigh was kicked. She was going to end up with a big ugly bruise there, she knew it! She wasn't going to abandon the hold though, or, at least not just separate. Abbey shifted her weight and tried to roll her and Yamato onto their stomachs. If she could do that, then she would loosen the hold enough to scoot up and lock the lower part of his leg with her own. He wouldn't be feeling the pain anymore, but she was trying to transition into something even better
Or worse, for Yamato.
