Encounter at a Bar Event (for Unlife)

It was a eventful night happening at a bar in the city, this certain bar decided to host an event inspired by the ever popular AFW nearby as a ring was set up with a cage surrounding it. The bar decided to host a cage fight between women, a little more than the normal mud wrestling gigs that set up in bars like this. Inside the cage the girl that was considered 'top girl of the bar' was against the ropes, trying to cover up from the relentless assault of actual AFW girl Kaya as she threw punch after punch at every opening she got.

Dressed in jeans and a white shirt as she fought shoeless since they didn't allow her to use shoes in this fight, not like it affected anything with her fighting style. Backing off as her hands hung by her body as she moved her head back and forward in an insulting manner as the poor girl staggered forward, allowing Kaya to throw a vicious right hook that blasted her opponent in the face and dropped her as she walked around the ring with her arms raised high.

The ref didn't even start the count and gave the match to Kaya as they began to take the losing girl out of the cage. "An impressive win from the surprise appearance Kaya! Is there any other girl out there who is willing to challenge her!?" the announce shouted over the mic as Kaya smuggly looked out through the cage, looking for her next victim.

Anne Sachman, one of the newer additions to the AFW roster, was looking for a quiet night out at town. Wearing a blue shirt and a pair of skinny jeans, Anne sipped slowly at her grasshopper, trying her best to tune out the ruckus.

She was taking it slow this fine evening: acquaint herself with the night life, get herself settled in and comfortable in urban japan and, most importantly, finally start using those painstaking months of Japanese tutoring to practical application. No fights, she told herself, just a few, easy days of relaxation before she re-threw herself into training and the league. All she wanted was an uneventful evening of, well, nothing.

So, naturally, the one bar she managed to settle on had to have a fight club in it. So much for ambiance.

She eventually gave in and started watching the 'fight', a beatdown that was tragic in its absolute one-sideness. The winner, or would-be winner was trained, clearly, and she mercilessly dismantled her foe. She toyed with her, she smashed her about, and she delivered a finisher than sent her opponent sprawling to the mat unconscious. Anne grimaced. She didn't like obvious stomps, it reflected badly on both the organizers and combatants; it added dignity to no one.

"An impressive win from the surprise appearance Kaya! Is there any other girl out there who is willing to challenge her!?"

Nope. Resist, Anne. Resist. Don't go looking for-

And then she saw the smug face of Kaya, that all-too pleased expression of someone who had taken down an opponent that was far beneath her.

-And she stood up, shoving another too-skinny girl who was trying to enter the ring. Rude, maybe, but she had probably saved her from an extensive beatdown. She shrugged out of her shoes, entered the cage door, ans shouted: "Care to take on someone your own size?"

As she watched as another girl was heading to the ring, however before another hapless victim entered the ring she saw another girl force her way into the cage. Kaya's eyes raised when she saw the girl before her and she was different than the girls she was dismantling all night for kicks, she girl was definitely trained. Kaya's lips curled into a smile, "And here I thought that it was going to be boring all night." she smuggly replied as she walked up to the similarly dressed girl, who was about the same size as her.

"Another combatant has stepped up to the plate!" the announcer shouted as the cage door was soon closed and locked, holding in the two fighters and the referee inside as Kaya continued to size up the girl, Kaya was wondering when someone who was actually good in a fight was going to arrive, rather than the bimbos who were trying to make a grab at glory and fame and what not.

With her hands on her hips and the excited smile, Kaya sized up her next opponent. "Last longer than five minutes." she hissed as she raised her bare fists, ready for another fight to enjoy.

"I will do my best to exceed your expectations, and then some." Anne said, with a small smile. She understood the utmost need for confidence in the ring when faced against an opponent, but she was never one for excess cruelty and petty taunting. This Kaya girl struck her in all the wrong ways.

She bounced up and down a little, loosening herself up. She shouldn't have done this, she told herself. She was ending this fight sweaty and stinky at best, and bruised and beaten at worse, and both options were not what she had in mind. Still, lesser evils. She was going to win this, wipe Kaya and her smile right off, and go back to her drink.

Anne went into her own stance; her fists held at temple level, feet wide, and back hunched; the traditional muay thai stance. She came in slow at first, moving in from the left to send a low kick Kaya's way to test her defenses, moving back, then coming in from the right with a one-two jab combination.

Kaya's stance was close to a boxing stance, her fists up and defending her head and feet ready to support her punches as she studied her opponent's stance, noticing that it was Muay Thai. Seeing such a dangerous style in front of her, Kaya knew that this was not a fight she could take lightly as Anne's foot came in and smacked the outside of her leg. "Tch!" she let out as pain shot through her leg, but not enough to hamper her ability as she she stepped back to avoid the two jab combo.

As soon as the second punch missed, Kaya stepped back in to throw a right hook aimed for Anne's side stomach. The urgency to weaken her opponent was high on Kaya's priority list as she would throw her left fist in a straight aimed at her face, going for her usual heavy high risk high reward mindset.

Anne was all poise and control, her footwork impeccable. She pulled back into her default stance As Kaya issued her counterattack, an arm brought down to guard against the stomach hook. She felt the sting of the punch, though, and knew Kaya had a lot of power packed in her punches. A second fist came, but it hit air as Anne duck to the side again, and then came in with her own hook to the stomach, a powerful fist aimed straight for Kaya's midsection.

Her opponent was strong, no doubt, but her technique was a little bit off. Was she so eager to go for the kill?

Kaya smiled as she slammed her fist into Anne's side as she threw her left fist forward, expecting to smash Anne's face in to show her who was the better fighter in this cage fight. However all she hit was empty air as her fist flew over Anne and Kaya received a hook to the gut. "Guh!" Kaya let out, spitting out a bit of spit as she staggered backwards covering her gut. The crowd wow-ed in surprise as Kaya took the first legitimate hit for the first time tonight.

Coughing for air, Kaya covered her gut as the hit from the bare fist was harder than she thought as she gritted her teeth as she stepped back in for another straight. However this time was more fury-oriented as the punch was more wild than her first two hits as she was more focused on repaying Anne and proving that she's the best fighter of the night.

Anne gave a mental cheer as her punch connected, her opponent visibly staggered by the attack. Before she could press her attack, however, her opponent had already recovered, surging forward with a powerful strike. Anne moved with the strike, drawing her head back to avoid the straight, before lashing out with her own powerful hook: a pull counter maneuver.

She was positive now that her opponent didn't have a strong base. Self-taught, maybe. Street fighter? Regardless, she had little respect for these pure brawlers. They didn't have discipline. Anne was going to switch up her tactics to frustration, dodging and weaving, chipping away at Kaya while her anger built.

Kaya's teeth gritted more as her fist missed it's target again and was rewarded again with a counter punch that smacked across her face. Her head rang as she stumbled but caught herself as she planted both of her feet and straightened herself. Frustration began to build in Kaya as she could feet the crowd swaying in Anne's favor as she brought her hands close to her face as she stepped forward.

Her head was still spinning, but she still continued regardless as she threw a flurry of punches, wild and vicious hits as she attempted to hit Anne once to start her momentum regain...

Anne let her take the initiative again and again and again. Matching her blow for blow was a foolish endeavor. Anne was a strong puncher, but she suspected the girl had a tad bit more power than her. She weaved and bobbed her way around Kaya's latest assault, a step forward to egg Kaya on, two steps back to dodge the next punch.

Anne would then loose any low kick, aiming for the same spot as earlier, hoping to force Kaya down to a knee. If successful, Anne would then bring up her own knee to Kaya's face, bringing the full force of her knee strike smacking straight up into her opponent's jaw.
