Eclipsed Moon

Zera curled her arms around the chains of the swing, staring up at the stars, which seemed to reflect directly into her eyes. She tilted her head to the side to gaze on the moon instead, not moving her eyes at all for some reason.

When the girl spoke out with another riddle, Zera replied almost as quick as it was spoken out, not seeming to have any difficulty finding out what the riddle meant.

" I don't need a feather..With no eyes, I do not fly alone.. I am led towards my path instead. "

Zera spoke soft yet clear enough to be heard, showing no expression on her face other then the dull looking one. Her feet lightly patted on the sand underneath them, kicking lightly off them to start swinging back and forth.

"And who is leading the puppet that should not have any strings?"

" Like a weapon, the blade can never strike alone, it needs a wielder.. My wielder remains unknown to most but I think you have already found out who. "

Zera gripped the chains once more, closing her eyelids completely, severing the feel of the wind that caressing her hair and face.

The girl stood up, abruptly and fluidly enough that Zera didn't even notice as her eyes were shut... The girl could have attacked her in that moment too, but it seemed that she didn't have the intention to do so.

"You have a feather, want it or not... It marks you to a flock, the same as her... The eclipsed moon to your full moon.." The Blood moon girl stepped away slightly, she was being seen kinda in profile by Zera from the back.

"And with the wielder you choose, you have place yourself opposing her like light to shadow."

" A feather resembles the hope of a renew journey towards a better future, where as I do not wish to participate in such a manner. "

Zera slowly started to turn around on the swing, pressing her back against one chain while her knees came to her chest as she sat sideways on the swing, her feet gently touching the chain, eyelids open to stare at one of the trees infront of her.

" I do not wish to have a feather, for I do not need one. "

"You have a feather..." The girl repeated in a firmer tone of voice now that Zera defied her

"I see it... It is ebony with a gray shimmer, like that of a crow or devil bird... And if it pleases you to hear..." She turned her head slightly, red eyes looking back at Zera in all her quiet spookiness.

"It does not signify hope as you speak it.." At least it did not signify hope the way this girl meant when she spoke of the feathers. "Rest assured you may continue to live without hope if you wish it..."

" I do not wish to hold any feather, I want no path for myself and no future for myself, whether or not you're trying to guide me to one is still the question. "

Zera turned her head to the side to stare directly at the girl but with a cold glare now, she was wondering about something and was now slightly determined to figure it out.

" You.. Were trying to find my opposite, weren't you? "

The wind picked up enough to lift her silvery white hair up a little, strands blowing in the breeze.. Her red bone chilling eyes continued to stare at her.

She did not give a verbal answer or a physical indication... Perhaps her silence was suppose to be a confirmation? Or just waiting to hear what Zera had to say about it

Zera brought her hand upwards, brushing the back of her fingertips over the stands of hair that blocked one of her eyes, sitting quite comfortable on the swing while her back pressed against the chain. When the wind picked up she simply closed her eyelids halfly, not letting the air taint her entire eyes as it brushed along them, the girl that was with her didn't seem to say anything but stare at her, making her think that she should figure out what was going on with more words.

" Maybe the Eclipse needs a feather, to bring it's true shine back.. However, I wish to be excluded from this, for I do not desire anything but solitude. "

The girl almost seemed to smile... almost... there was a somber knowing on her face.

"Solitude.. smooth as silk to wrap you... those with that kind of feather dabble with it like a lover... Like you do." She tilted her head slightly, her eyes close slightly to slits.

"I did not see before... the stringless puppet... It has one.
One string of steel, it is cold and lonely."
